Ok maybe it isn't gonna be so rat rod..but more of a Traditional hot rod.

Got this..along with a pro street 67 chevelle and a lindberg dodge 330 ram chargers, for only 25 bucks with shipping!

ALSO GOT ME THIS CAMERA! http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16830111217
Just waiting for it to arrive in the mail.

All that said.. I'm hoping this build lets me get back to building for myself. of course I still paint slot cars..and am doing so at this moment, but I have not built anything since the 64 chevy truckster..which still needs to be built!

Il have shots in a bit..

Nice camera! and its a DSLR, lots you can do with that. Now you can take lots more pictures for us.

I'd want one just because its got a "Supersonic Wave Filter"

Haha totally. The way the wave filter works is it vibrates the mirror..shaking the dust off, it works great from what Ive read.

Having a good camera now means Il go to downtown here and snap shots of the cobblestone streets that date back to the 1800's

Staying as stock as I can get with in the kit, don't wanna cut up that many kits with this build.

Chassis will get z'd and the cab will be moved forward a tad, to get that engine seated properly.

Yea, I love it. Im gonna save up for a macro lens though, it will be much sharper across the whole image.

Normally Id use a white backround but.. white kit parts are hard to take pictures of lol. Still messing with this thing..lots to learn.

Hey where is your 29 ford thread?

Thanks fellas :)

I did not have 2x4mm styrene strip, only 1x4 so I doubled up.

It has a severe Z on the front frame half. Not sure where my firewall will start. It has about 2 scale inches of ground clearance.

The bed will be cut shorter..but will still be fairly long.

As for bodies..Im not sure what I will use. I can use the roadster pickup body..or the full cab that you can see, I weathered up and chopped the top off (4 years ago)

The texture is baking soda.

Today My package arrived.

I won a few "lots" on ebay. 2 -50 chevy pickups -incomplete for 5 bucks, The lot of 1929 Model A trucks..was only 12 bucks. This was the gold mine.. 8 cabs, 4 chassis and around 3- 4cyl engines. Last collection is 2 - '26 Model T's. one sedan, the other a panel. These will get stripped...Plenty of rats in the future.
