I just randomly happened to check the "Matchbox Lesney" catagory, something I'll do once in a blue moon for a nostalgic look at when toys were made with quality. Nobody had bid on it yet, and it had about 6 hours to go, so I bid fairly low, thinking I didn't have a chance anyway and can't afford a serious bid. I was the ONLY bidder in this item! (Don't ever sell something on eBay that closes in the wee hours of the night when the snipers are all sleeping)

I had just the tractor when I was a kid, something I'd traded from one of the neighbor kids in the 'hood. I've always liked this style of Dodge trucks. This one comes with the 2 trailers and is in pretty good shape, paint notwithstanding.

Take a look

Just thought you should know Dan, that is one of the few Matchbox pieces that scale out to a perfect 1/87. You are VERY lucky to have picked that one up. And actually a pretty darned good rendition of the old Dodge at that.

Chester, mebbe you are confusing this one with another? This is a Matchbox King Size, they are about 1/64, or even a little bigger. (It wouldn't fit on a hot wheel track, as any 1/87 rig easily would. not that I'd race my ho scale rigs) I'll post pix when it gets here for kix. But I do agree, it is a very good replica of the dodge at any rate.
