OK, I don't want to turn this into a RR forum but this is the first honest to goodness real rail car I've ever done. The kit is from Tichy in injected molded plastic and comes with two cars for a retail of only $12 and change. The detail is super but I couldn't find any proto photos so I played this one by ear. I substituted the plastic wheels with some metal ones, other than that it's box stock. I used the Future paint peeling technique on it and wish I'd used some of my dry transfers before I etched the paint off.
Hey Virgil, ain't it about time we saw some HO layout work?
