I used my old photo base for a 1/25 scale diorama so I needed a new one. I took a three foot by four foot piece of CDX plywood and skimmed it with sheetrock mud. ![]() After allowing it to dry I sanded it and painted it flat black. ![]() Then I sprayed two cans of automotive trunk paint to give texture and color. ![]() I then fogged Wal Mart flat black over the top to dull it some. ![]() Heres the finished piece. ![]() ![]() ![]() This is a 1/6 scale diecast for reference, ![]() An easy, cheap afternoon build that will last for a long time and can be used for multiple scales. ![]() . |
