Junior Member Posts: 73 Group: Members Member #1,273 Joined: July 24, 2009	Kown formerly as the Triangle Filling station , this tiny place was built in Richmond Virginia in 1923. It sold Puroil / Pure products until 1953 when the station finially gasped its last breath . The reasons were simple . First the station only had one 800 gallon underground tank . Secondly because the station was built to the curbs on all three sides , there wasn't any room to service cars . After W W II America was on the move , this station had outlived it's usefullness.
