hey duke.........the wipre marks are really easy.......

just mask off the windshield and draw on where the wipers travel........
Posted Image

then lightly cut them out wiht a #11 blade..........and shoot the with dullcoat..........holding the can back about three feet....
Posted Image

then hit it lightly with some weathering powders..
Posted Image

its as easy as that!........i hope that helps you out

Hey, that's looking good, Bryan. I always love how windshield wiper patches add to a build.
The rust over the glass looks great, too.
This one's turning out great................

If I may offer a sugesstion oin dirty glass here I have used a product called Frosted Glass from Krylon . It really does give clear acetate a rough feel to it as though the glass has been coated with a thick coat of dirt . Ive used it in cases of needing a Clouded glass on a bathroom door for my dioramas . I buy it at Michiaels .
Bryan , that van is , well a class act ! Ed Shaver

Nice job again Bryan. I just spent over two hours pouring over the 20 pages here so far. Amazing how all of these little tricks and tidbits can come together to make something like this, isn't it?

I'm sorry you can't enter it in the contest. This is another inspiration to us all, though, if that's any consolation.... :-/

I'm going to bet that just like me, every single person that read this has picked up some little tip or trick to help them on their next or current build. You have my vote for the inaugural hall of fame member when you start the hall of fame on here... :D

Greg.
