Member Posts: 447 Group: Members Member #44 Joined: October 14, 2005	I hit slumps myself.....I picture what I want to do...but sometimes get discouraged because I can't find the right part that I need for that stage of the build. I simply just box up a kit, sit it on the shelf, and wait for desire to hit me again. Maybe try watching a few car oriented movies.....maybe that'll help.

Junior Member Posts: 74 Group: Members Member #556 Joined: December 24, 2006	When I have a slump, I revert to my old standby of doing a basic, 60's era AMT 3 in 1 kit. I don't sweat the paint- rattle can it and hope for the best- and just basic out of the box builds. It sort of puts me back to when I was a kid when everything, including models, was much simpler. Even though the kits are much better now, it takes me months ( years in some cases!) to finish one. I'll usually finish an old kit in a few weeks. TG

This is a hobby to have fun and relax.. Chuck
