Here's another fun build I'll post. This one's meant to be a kind of a "backyard build" with an old Flathead 6 that's got a few speed parts added. I made 2 different hoods for it as I couldn't decide on which one to display. I made the bare metal one first and then made a rusty looking one, as the bare metal didn't photograph well.

Thanks for looking!

This is one from a year ago. Box stock and a ton of fun to build. Also well engineered. The roll cage went together flawlessly. Big thumbs up to Lindberg for the tooling on this one!

After looking at the entries for this month I've figured out that I'm outclassed and need some help. Like the girl that relies on makeup and the magician that relies on a smooth line of patter to direct the audience's attention away from the chicanery, I'll have to use some of my special brand of "smoke and mirrors".

Since I'm outclassed in the building department, maybe I can use photography to help bridge the gap. Here's three pics of my entry in this month's contest, Ned Jarrett's ''62 season Chevy Bel Air hardtop. But after checking out the competition I'm not bothering to clean off a place of the wall for a blue ribbon this month.
