Chuck, you are a PRINCE, buddy!!! I love the evil eye on the snowman.

All right, folks, we are here to answer all questions. But you know what they say, the more questions you ask, the less time you have to build!!!

LOL!!!

Also, a big thanks to Bryan and in particular to Ken Hamilton for being our first CCCMC.

Please make sure you read and reread the rules. We took Jim's suggestion for allowing all parts to be fairgame regarless of year . . . as long as the body chosen fits between 1929-1962. That fair indeed. Thank you.

yes! everyone please read the rules......

this thing has been simmering in the back of crankys, and my mind for a while now.........which is why it is a "ratrod" "hotrod" "custom" contest. we both believe that this aspect of modeling doesnt get enough attention..........and its high time that it does...

now dont get us wrong, we love shiney cars too, and they are great!..............just not for this contest. and not to sound like an @$$hole here, if you plan on joining in with us for all the fun, we welcome suggestions, but if youre going to whine about things.....by all means dont enter............i know that sounds harsh, but we spent alot of time and effort putting this together, and it is as WE wanted it............so please, just have some fun.........thats why we are doing it!!

also, i wanna take a minute and thank Virgil...........besides what we collect in entry fees virgil completely financed this contest out of his pocket. Virgil, is a very generous human being, please everyone take a minute and thank him for sponsoring this !

thank you virgil!!

I also want to thank Ken Hamilton for taking the judging duties! thank you Ken!

Last but not least, we have to thank Ben Stone for putting up with Virgil and my insanity! thank you Ben!

and thanks to all of you who plan on entering.......if it is a success it will be back next year with a different theme! and maybe more prize money!!

good luck to everyone........now lets see some building!

I was wondering where all the prize money would come from if you didn't have enough people entering to cover it. Virgil, I don't know you from a hole in the wall, but this is an awesome gesture on your behalf to finance it!

Great job guys, glad I found this message board!

Thanks for the special invitation Virg... I'm in a building slump right now with several other projects that need finishing or starting and I just had to pay my yard man for raking my leaves and I don't have the $10 to spare... LOL

I'll be watching this build off if I can get this forum's "Track Topic" to ever work.

Let me talk to Bryan and Ben to see what kinds of problems you are having with the forum, Tommy.

Can you give us a little more information. Do you mean with picture upload, etc?

Just to clarify...

Does the model have to have wheels?

Must it have four?

Do they have to be round?

Do they have to be black?

Can they be glossy, because otherwise they would be flat?

I don't want to build something with flat tires.

:-/
