Now tell me who's got the cleanest work bench?

http://public.fotki.com/lscrima/croton/

I want to see evidence of certain people who said they would pee in their pants if I posted some photos. Unfortunately I forgot how to post to the forum. I struggled just getting them up on Fotki.

Oh boy, that's a beautiful set up. You sure can get lots of building done there. It's pretty darn clean too!!

Is the pond on the other side?

Nice shop, Lou. I like all the wooden tool chests. I wish I'd have grabbed a bunch of those wooden Coke bottle crateds back when they were phasing them out for plastic.

C 'mon Lou, show me some evidence that is YOUR workbench. All I see could be anyone's.

I'm not gonna waste a new pair of Depends on just a photo of some workbench... ^o)

Virg,

The barn is located up to the left of the house when you see the house from across the pond. Where did you see a picture of the pond? I'll see if I can add a picture of the house and pond to the Fotki post. OK It's there, so now you can see the relationship to the house and the barn. What is not shown is the other four outbuildings. One being a glass blowing studio that my wife designed and was using prior to our sons being born.

Dan I still need to make a series of vertical dividers so I can access the crates like slide out drawers. Some of them that hold plumbing fittings are pretty heavy.

Ken and Chuck. I always knew there were disbelievers on this forum. I notice no word from Ken or Bryan as of yet regarding the cleanliness of the work bench. Another group of disbelievers?

GO YANKEES AND PHILS!

I apologize for the quality of the photos but they were taken with my new iphone and iphones take lousy pictures. But I left a few forum members speechless it seems.

Now for my next group of photos I will show them what I am working on next. Stay tuned.

Being a homeowner yourself I am sure you can realize the amount of time and work it takes to keep up a place. The house dates from 1885 and there are six and a half acres of nature that is trying to beat me down. For the most part nature is winning. Then again I have my place in NYC which half of it I rent out and that is another obligation that takes up my time. So hopefully you guys realize i don't have a lot of time left over to devote to modeling. That's why I like coming here and seeing and commenting on all the great builds by master builders and also the younger talent I see on this forum developing.

Oh wow, your wife is a glass blower, Lou? It's the one thing I've always wanted to learn to do. Hey, that's it, I am headed your way for the summer. I hope you have strong pipes in and out of all your toilets.

We'll fish in the early morning and then you and will build new models, and then I will be more than happy to get some glass blowing lessons.

Perfect.

I do believe we're beginning to see the Softer Side of Lou here......

You really do have your hands full, but the satisfaction of staying ahead of an old house is very rewarding. And it looks like you've got enough room the host the First Annual Model Builders' Forum Picnic. Chester & Virgil will even have some ducks to shoot at.

Great job, Lou.

Not too many ducks for Chester and Virg to shoot at, but if they like goose hunting they can bring full auto weapons and a lot of ammo. There's a ton of them on the pond at certain times of the year.
