Here we go.

Yes, it looks like a custom, but I'll fix that.!

I'm not sure where I'll end up with this project, but I know the first couple of things to do.

#1. Throw away the instructions.

#2. Break out the saw and cut off everything that does not look like a Sniki Tiki.

I wanted to do a steam powered hot rod. But there are way too many engineering issues for the short building time of this event. I see Moparlady is entering. Oh well, there goes my $300. :)

LOL!!! Since we've all become forum buddies over these last 10 years or so, it's pretty cool (or scary, as Jim would say) that we are getting familiar with what buttons to push!!! :D :D :D

No guys, I'm serious about wondering if my idea will work.

Many times I start over trying to get something to work. You know, we all do that.

But when your live on camera, everyone can see any of your dumb ideas that don't work. LOL

I'm on a friends computer right now. Mine is at the doctors being fixed.

I made some progress tonight. I took some pictures. But I can't post pictures until my computer is back on line. Maybe Saturday.

I took the roof off with a Dremel grinding tool. And just as I thought, I came up with a better idea. Darn it.!!!! I need the roof back on.

So a friend of mine is sending me a new Wagon Rod body.

Later.......

Did you know that we learn a lot by looking at your dance steps, Jim . . . this is what you don't realized. That second guessing yourself if part of the creative process, and we learn from it!!!

Also, lots of people have been having computer problems. There's a new wave of virus attacks going on.

Well I can see the challange of this event is trying to figure out how to build a cool looking car
without doing too many modifications to the car. I mean with the time limit and all.

I decided to get some help like Wayne King did. Good idea Wayne.!!!

So I took the whole mess to the local car garage. And Stanley said he would help......

Not Stanley again. Didn't he and his buddy, what's his name, screw up your last build, with all their fighting and ugly girlfriend comments?

Don't worry about the rough edges. Throw some primer and paint on it and it will buff out perfectly.
