Okay, I'm new here and cannot figure on how to display a photograph in a topic thread. I have a fotki account but when I try to copy and paste a photo I only get the address of the photo but not the photo. kinda hard to post progress photos... I'm sure it's fairly easy to do, but I have not figured it out yet thanx curt |

I use photobucket, not sure about the others, BUT if you'll take your photo, upload it, then copy the COMPLETE url of the photo, click on the"IMAGE"button on the top, paste the URL when the pop up comes up, then click the"OK" button. That should do it. I would assume that ALL photo services are the same. I hope this helps, IF you have any more questions I can try to help. |

To get the url, open the pic up to it's own page. Right click. Left click at the bottom for properties. Copy the entire url thing, such as http/pic... This is what you want to put in the image part. Click on image at the top when you make a post. It will pop up with http url or some stuff in it. Just paste over it so that what you copied from the pic you want to post is all that's there. I think the key here is to make sure you open the pic to it's own page. 7 pics in fotki or photobucket will not give you the thing you want to copy. Open it first. Hope this helps a little. Greg. |

I don't have a Fotki or Photobucket account. Can I do this with my pictures that are saved in the "My Pictures" file? Jim |
