Why not. I'll toss the Chevy II into the ring. AMT Rat Packer built box stock, except for the decals. Majority of them came from the Revell 68 Firebird, along with about 3 other sheets. Took some time to select the ones I wanted, and to make sure that I did not have any competing decals, like Penzoil and Valvoline. Shaved the door handles, upper body chrome, and the rain gutters. Decided to omit the the radiator since it is a strip car only, and used only the driver's seat. Had a ton of fun building this one, even the 2 hours selecting decals and deciding on a placement. Paint is rattle can, from Pactra. Testor's metalizer for the aluminum.

I must have changed something with Photobucket to reduce this picture. Will have to reshoot it

Well here i am again. This time i brought my what if car. It started out as a 70 Buick GSX but the top got mashed so i did the next best thing i made a convertible.
There are no 70 Buick GSX convertibles made until now. The paint is Italian Red i
used BMF. The interior is well detailed with carpet power windows. The engine is the mighty 455 stage 1 its wired plumbed with fuel lines and brake lines. The tires
are Good Year F-60s the wheels are stock 5 spoke. The chassis has fuel, brake and parking brake. There is also the keys in it so don't take it. Thanks for looking.

I"ll post for a first time :) -

62 Buick Electra lowrider. Basically box stock but my friend challenged me to make it look like my diecast lowrider bike that was sitting on my work bench.

Jeez Hermit, what scale is that?
It's great.

Anyway, here's one I finished at the end of last month.
AMT '70 Impala.
It may look box stock but it's not.
I found the standard treatment of the front end so disappointing that I felt compelled to rebuild the firewall, inner fenders and front suspension.
Radiator is from a Testors AMX.
Wheels are Evil-Bay "wins".
Coilovers are scratchbuilt.
Carbie and seats are from www.ThePartsBox.com

Ok it has got 4 tyres so I think it qualifies, this will be my first and I promise not to vote for myself.

This is a Buffel APC as used by the SANDF,
Scale : 1:72
Resin
Paints Used : Humbrol and testors
Washed with Oils
and dusted with Mig.

There is a bit of scratch but mainly Box Standard.

I built this one for the Vets Club in my wifes hometown. It was auctioned off on Veterans Day 2006. The graphics were done on my computer. Plates read TRIBUTE, and 110706.

It's an idea I've been working on for a while - a kinda WHAT IF/ Concept, strangley BMW came up with a similar concept the 2006 Castagna CrossUP except that looks like a 4x4 though it isnt (dont think)
Appologies for quality of pics - light poor - does not do justic to Nightfire Pearl paint
Model could do with a little more cleaning up but that will happen in time !

Hope you all like it - feedback always welcomed
