Had my first PT session today, went good. I am getting back motion in my arm again. Also back to work on Thur. No driving, they are putting me behind a desk. I haven't been inside working since 1988, so this will be different.

While she was "flying" down the road yesterday, a woman passed over a bridge only to find a cop with a radar gun on the other side lying in wait. The cop pulled her over, walked up to the car with that classic patronizing smirk we all know and love, and asked, "What's your hurry?" To which she replied, "I'm late for work." "Oh yeah," said the cop, "what do you do?" "I'm a rectum stretcher," she responded. The cop stammered, "A what? A rectum stretcher? And just what does a rectum stretcher do?" "Well," she said, "I start by inserting one finger, then work my way up to two fingers, then three, then four, then with my whole hand in. I work from side to side until I can get both hands in, and then I slowly but surely stretch it, until it's about six feet wide." "And just what the hell do you do with a six foot asshole?" he asked. "You give him a radar gun and park him behind a bridge ..." Traffic Ticket - $95.00 Court Costs - $45.00 Look on the Cop's Face.................PRICELESS |

I've been getting a little bit of time at my workbench. I'm getting back in the swing of things. I still have to think a lot. I'm building a kit pretty much right out of the box and a kit bash diorama that real small (5" x 6"). I don't really want ether one of them, but I felt like I needed to practice on something before I try any serious modeling stuff. I'm off to work. I'm expecting an easy night, should give me time to think about my next addition to Davetown. |

What to do with my wife? I was sitting here looking at American Industrial Truck Models website. http://www.aitruckmodels.com/pages/ck9mackb65.html I'm looking at the Mack B-61 and B-65s. They look the same to me, so I ask out loud, "What's the difference between B-61s and B-65s? She said "Four"

Ever had one of these days....................Nag Nag Nag > > An attorney arrived home late, after a very tough day trying to get a stay > of execution. His last minute plea for clemency to the governor had failed > and he was feeling worn out and depressed. > As soon as he walked through the door at home, his wife started on him: 'What time of night to be getting home is this? Where have you been? Dinner > is cold and I'm not reheating it'.............And on and on and on. > Too shattered to play his usual role in this familiar ritual, he poured > himself a shot of whiskey and headed off for a long hot soak in the bathtub, > pursued by the predictable sarcastic remarks as he dragged himself up the > stairs. > While he was in the bath, the phone rang. The wife answered and was told > that her husband's client, James Wright, had been granted a stay of > execution after all. Wright would not be hanged tonight. Realizing what a > terrible day he must have had, she decided to go upstairs and give him the > good news. > As she opened the bathroom door, she was greeted by the rear view of her > husband, bent over naked, drying his legs and feet. > 'They're not hanging Wright tonight,' she said. > He whirled around and screamed - 'FOR THE LOVE OF GOD, WOMAN, DON'T YOU EVER STOP?! |

Grandma is eighty-eight years old and still drives her own car. She writes: Dear Grand-daughter, The other day I went up to our local Christian book store and saw a 'Honk if you love Jesus' bumper sticker .. I was feeling particularly sassy that day because I had just come from a thrilling choir performance, followed by a thunderous prayer meeting.. So, I bought the sticker and put it on my bumper. Boy, am I glad I did; what an uplifting experience that followed. I was stopped at a red light at a busy intersection, just lost in thought about the Lord and how good he is, and I didn't notice that the light had changed... It is a good thing someone else loves Jesus because if he hadn't honked, I'd never have noticed. I found that lots of people love Jesus! While I was sitting there, the guy behind started honking like crazy, and then he leaned out of his window and screamed, 'For the love of God!' 'Go! Go! Go! Jesus Christ, GO!' What an exuberant cheerleader he was for Jesus! Everyone started honking! I just leaned out my window and started waving and smiling at all those loving people. I even honked my horn a few times to share in the love! There must have been a man from Florida back there because I heard him yelling something about a sunny beach. I saw another guy waving in a funny way with only his middle finger stuck up in the air. I asked my young teenage grandson in the back seat what that meant. He said it was probably a Hawaiian good luck sign or something. Well, I have never met anyone from Hawaii , so I leaned out the window and gave him the good luck sign right back. My grandson burst out laughing. Why even he was enjoying this religious experience!! A couple of the people were so caught up in the joy of the moment that they got out of their cars and started walking towards me. I bet they wanted to pray or ask what church I attended, but this is when I noticed the light had changed. So, grinning, I waved at all my brothers and sisters, and drove on through the intersection. I noticed that I was the only car that got through the intersection before the light changed again and felt kind of sad that I had to leave them after all the love we had shared. So I slowed the car down, leaned out the window and gave them all the Hawaiian good luck sign one last time as I drove away. Praise the Lord for such wonderful folks!! Will write again soon, Love, Grandma |

Well I hope everyone had a safe 4th of July weekend. Mine was fine till on the way home. A car in front of me ran off the road into the median. I stopped to call 911 and offer assistance. There was a woman and 3 kids in the car. Luckily the kids were strapped in car seats, so that two of them were not hurt. However the thrid a young boy had unhooked his to get something and was bounced around abit. His mother was rellay shaken up over the accident, needless to say. A nurse stopped and helped with the medical stuff till a ambulance, and the Highway Patrol arrived. Myself, and another gentlemen who witnessed the accident had to help the EMT's load the boy into the ambulance as they put him on a back board, and stabilized his neck He was complaining that his back hurt. What happened was, mom got distracted when he unbuckled, and she run the tire off unto the soft shoulder in the median. She then tried to get back onto the pavement, but at the speed he was going the tire caught, and she lost control, and went down into the median, and beecame airborn. I thought for sure the car was going to flip end over end. It came to rest in the East bound side of the highway, but far enough off the road, so not to get hit. So just a top to all of you out there, if this happens to you, SLOW down before you try to get back onto the main road again. At high speed it won't work . |
