 Proud Papa bragging rights. This weekend a couple of things happened. My son got engaged to a terrific girl. Also my daughter had entered the photography category at the local fair, and placed with 2 2nd places, a first, and a Grand Champion, ribbon. This was her first time entering.  However the fishing this weekend sucked.

My daughter is into photography also.She is alway taking pictures.We were at our camp over 4th of july weekend got some really cool pictures of country roads ,life etc.Congratulations Merc.  Chuck

Got to add a new chapter to this one. Wed, night we went back to the Fair for a concert, and saw that she had also won a PEOPLES CHOICE AWARD. This was for the one she got Grand Champion with.

Does anyone here recognize this kit/model. Believed to be released by Revell in the mid 70's and possibly called the "Headhunter" in 1/12 or 1/16 scale. Any help for a friend of mine is appreciated.

Productive weekend for me. I scored a nice airbrushed Harley prit fopr my room, on sat. for only 20.00. Then today I scored a 1/87th Shelby from Monogram, another 55 Chevy, a diecast C-600 series semi tractor, kind of cheesy but has potential. Also a boat trailer, that I can use to make into a dolly for 2 semi trailers, and a Union Pacific Caboose, for only $.50. The caboose is missing the trucks, and a the smoke stack, but will be mounted on some timbers to use a as a work shed. Oh yeah also a Hot Wheels 32 fFord panel truck in about 1/87th. Got all of the above for a total $6.00 layout. Not to shabby I think. |

Can anyone help me out. Some how I got the mobile web link on my photbucket account. My eyes are bad enough that I cant see normal, but the pics are all thumbnail size now. I tried to redo like they said, but maybe I'm looking at the wrong tutorial on how to restore it. Testing here to see what size pic I get.  Okay pic is good. |

Thursday night, my wife and I went to see this guy in concert. On the bus ride down to the show, my name was drawn to do a meet, and greet before the show. As you can see we got to get our pic taken with him. He is a great guy, realyy nice, kindof short, and put on a great show. Sang for 1 1/2 hours. Got thew total VIP treatment, as they had a separate room for us, with food, and beverages all laid out. Also I have this pair of boots that my wife hates, he noticed them, and said he really liked the design.   |

Well guys, have a good holiday weekend. I have both kids coming to the lake this weekend for fishing, and took off Fri. to make its alonger weekend for me. I also hope to get some more painting done on a few projects, along with a small project I thought of yesterday. Everyone be safe talk to you guys Mon. |
