Interestiong day today. First had our annual drivers safety meeting, lost out on the big screen 42" Plasma flat screen TV because of my workers comp claim from my shoulder, no big deal. :-/

Then off to the doc for CDL recertification physical , passed this. :) So I'm good to drive for another 2 years. So stay off the sidewalks!!!!! :D :D :D

Then got a call from my wife, she got in a car accident :'( , She was bruised :'( but not hurt :) . She was making a left turn, and got t-boned. Took out the whole left side of her car. Damage est. so far is 5300.00, and they didnt get the doors open yet. The car is a mess, but like I said shes okay.

Well thats my Monday so far.

A little boy goes to his father and asks 'Daddy, how was I born?'

The father answers, 'Well, son, I guess one day you will need to find out
anyway! Your Mom and I first got together in a chat room on Yahoo. Then
I set up a date via e-mail with your Mom and we met at a cyber-cafe. We
sneaked into a secluded room, and googled each other. There your mother
agreed to a download from my hard drive. As soon as I was ready to
upload, we discovered that neither one of us had used a firewall, and
since it was too late to hit the delete button, nine months later a little
Pop-Up appeared that said:

Scrool down you'll love this...............

You got Male!!!! :D :D :D :D :D

Kind of a bittersweet weekend for me. We closed up the camper, as the season is over. However I did come home with some really fine grain sand. I was over by the playground last week, and noticed the sand at the bottom of the slide was worn down to a fine powder almost. So I scooped up 2 gallon size baggies of it, for future projects. got to strain, and bake before I use it. Also the owner of the campgrounds father in law, said he had some model trains he was tring to get rid off. he offered them to a former co-worker, and the guy never took them. I told him I was interested, and he said I could have them. Also getting some old Rail Road pics he has. the toatl cost will be about 2 bucks for gas to get to his place to pick them up.

Found a couple of interesting looking weeds that have possibilities also, along with some red Maple leaves from one of the trees. These will go into the blender for reduction, and added to my ground clutter collection.

Yesterday we started our end of the season celebration, and started parrting at noon, till 1:30 AM. Lot's of food, beverages, and friends. A good time was had by all.

Now it's back to the bench, and projects started, and forgotten, to be completed. Also I found out I have to inventory some things. I was looking for a vehicle to send to Dave, when I found stuff I had duplicates off, that I didn't realize I already had. :'(

Well thats it for now, Got the Spud Valley/Valley Modellers show coming up Oct 18th, so have to get going for that.

Hmm....I'm 43 but I scored 16, does that mean I'm old at heart? :D The four I missed were total guesses, the 16 I got right I hardly thought about.

My mom stopped driving and gave me her car. I went to Maryland today with a trailer and dragged it home.

It's a '94 Toyota Camry. It's in really good shape. Have you ever seen a 2 door Camry? This is the only one that I've ever seen.

WOW Dave that is a nice looking ride. What happened to the station wagon that you got a few years back?

Merc, I scored 20 out of 20. Do I get a special storefront that sells memorabilia from the late fifties early sixties? You know like scrap books of photos of my early builds and the trophies and ribbons and medals that Monogram and Revell use to give out at the local hobby shops. Not to mention a few empty pages in the back to mount photos of my latest builds.

Lou, the Buick wagon was a wonderful car. I loved it. Every time my wife rode in it she got car sick. I traded it in on a Pontiac Vibe. I figure I made a profit of about $1500 with the wagon.

The Vibe is her car.

I get the "Hot Rod"

The Toyota is in the shop getting inspection and emissions test. I told my mechanic to drive it around for a week or two and see if anything wrong with it. If there isn't anything major wrong I'm just going to obsessively clean, polish and detail it and maybe take it to a car show in the spring.

With a car as small as your "hot rod" I can see why you model in HO scale.

Even though you made some bucks on the wagon I think the next time maybe trade in the wife. It's hard to find a good used car nowadays.

The Buick only had 40,000 miles on it. It hurt to trade it in.

I've had too many wives as it is. I'm just going to keep this one.

Awesome camry , My buddy had one in white, till the timing belt let go.

It would make a nice rear wheel drive car..use a supra rearend and a toyota v8! then again those supra inline 6's would put out more power.

My Metro is a blast around semi-trucks. Get behind them and slide up real close. You can feel it when you get in the slip stream. It kinda pounds on the roof and the whole car sort of bounces. I can put it in neutral and hang there for miles. I think of it as highway surffin'. My wife giggles a lot when I do that. One day we went about 70 miles in neutral. :D

: :-/ Dave, as a semi driver just letting you know this practice is really dangerous. So be careful. Remember if you cant see the mirrors on the truck, the trucker cant see you.

Never lose your Grandkids.

A heartwarming story.

A small boy was lost at a large shopping mall.
He approached a uniformed policeman and said, "I've lost my grandpa!"
The cop asked, "What's he like?"
The little boy hesitated for a moment and then replied,

" ,Jack Daniels Logo whiskey, Bud Light and women with big boobs."
