I was just looking at the Testors website, to contact them about replacement parts, seems they don't do that by email anymore...you have to call the 800 number.

Anyway, I thought I'd look around and see what else was there. I clicked the "What's New" and I saw a new line of laquer paints in spray cans. Not the Model Master laquers, this is a new line entirely. Thought somebody might be interested, looks like some cool colors !!!

Yeah, I haven't seen this stuff in the stores yet either, I just wanted to let people to know they should keep their eyes open for it. I know there are a few colors I'd like to try myself, so I hope I can find some this late summer/early fall before it gets too cold for me to paint stuff.

Those do look good.
I like their Base Coat/ Clear Coat paints. I hope they add more OEM car colors to those.

Thanks, Tom

Here's an update on the paint:I put an order thru Testor's on Sept.28th and well here it is Oct.9th so I called customer service to check on the order and was told they are still setting up the line and they won't be ready to ship any for another 2 to 3 weeks so I cancelled the order and am going to wait for my local hobby shop to start carrying them,I know they also have put an order for them and think they would get theirs first so I will just buy from them also at a cheaper price.

It's a felony here in my state to mailorder spray cans. you actually have to REGISTER with th epolice to purchase spray paints. They are tighter on spray cans then they are on firearms. I suppose that explains why there's not much violent crime here(criminals are afraid of getting shot by legal gun owners), and why there is so much grafitti(criminals don't register they rip off). Oh well. I'm registered, even though I don't buy very much. It's funny though, they've never caught a single person with this registration stuff. Yet it costs the taxpayers like 50 million a year.
