Well her i go again good luck to all. This is a 50 Chevy Stake truck. The paint is Testors Auqa Met. I opened the doors and hinged the doors and hood. Wood grain in back. The running gear is a 389 tri power GTO motor to a 4-speed to a Vette rear end. With slotted rims and Good Year tires. Hope you like this.

OK, let's go off the beaten path here.
Here's a 1905 International "Famous" engine I turned into a lawn mower.
Wheels and tires are from a "Muscle Machine", Seat from a Big T, Frame, mowing deck, controls scratch built. The drive belts weren't installed when I took these pics. Took about a week to build.
Hope you at least get a chuckle. By the way, it's 1/8th scale.

ok here is mine for october. a severly rusted 32 ford. the rust is actually real rust i ground up. i ground some holes in the body and floor pan. weathered the interior, opened the trunk and added some junk . i made the frame, grille shell and drivers door look like nice new primered parts, as well as the wheels and tires. added a greasy small block chevy. gave the windshield a nice set of cracks with a scribe tool. tossed some tools on the front seat. i wanted this car to look like something that someone just tossed together so that they could drive it, thanks for lookin, Bryan M

Here is my entry for October. AMT version of the 1996 Mustang Cobra. Box stock, Tamiya paint. Love the color, but had some fit issues that I did not catch until final assembly. Figure since this is for October I would use the closest thing I have to a pumpkin orange. Thanks as always for looking.

Here's my Ghostbusters Ecto 1 built from the Polar Lights kit. The strip below the windows is painted since the decals didn't cover the full area that should be red. The entire model is handpainted with Testors acrylics and chrome is foiled.

"BLOWN 409", also known as "BAD AIR". All opened up and custom. Includes custom console, lcd monitors, carpet and that all important blown 409 powerplant. I shaved most of the chrome and all of the emblems and badges. It has brake and fuel lines and all of the wiring and plumbing with a nitrous bottle to boot. The reverse opening hood was a nice touch I think. The cowl was made from styrene sheet. For more info click on Lex's Scale Modeling

What great builds this month!
I guess I will enter something that I just finished. Its AMTs 49 merc that i chopped, slanted the B pillars, extended and frenched the headlights, shaved the side trim, removed the dip in the side reveal and nosed.
This isnt the new revell kit, all of the modifications are done by me.
here is a progress picture to prove it :P http://i47.photobucket.com/albums/f199/66g...dmercury011.jpg
