Here is a 1/8th scale Lindy "Custom T" that I affectionetly call "The Drag Queen" because of it's total outlandishness.

Hi everybody, Here's a little project that I finished up a week ago. It's a modified dub city diecast 40' pontiac. The entire car was disassembled and reworked and it took 3 sessions of easy off oven cleaner to strip the factory paint off.

After the paint was completely removed I was able to see that I really had my work cut out for me in order to bring the metal body up to show quality specs. There was gouges and tons of various imperfections throughout the body that needed to be filled and sanded.

After about a month of body work I finally layed down some duplicolor deep blue metallic and shot the roof in classic white. After about 3 weeks everything was polished out. All the window trim was redone in "bmf" and the hood was cut open with a dremel tool and cutoff wheel. The rear fender skirts were cut and shaped from sheet styrene. Overall, the car features a few self turned aluminum parts and other small details. The wheels are pegasus 22" lightning rods. hope you enjoy.... Jeff

Wow, some great builds again this month. I think this time around I'll enter my MPC Fiero. Box stock, Really happy with how it turned out. Except the black trim. Seems to be a running issue with me! :D Good luck to everyone!
