The side markers are made from common pins with dots of clear red and clear yellow for the lenses. The chassis has fuel and brake lines. '08's looking good.
Here's a 1/8 scale street rod I built a while back.
It wasn't quite finished when I took the pics but I've been to lazy to take more.
Good luck everybody.

Here is my entry for the January model of the month contest. It is a fully detailed 2003 Lowe's Jimmie Johnson Spongebob Monte Carlo Nascar build. This was a one race paint scheme that was run in 2003 at the July race in Daytona Beach. The kit is from Revell and the decals are from JWTBM. Many additional details were created using a photo-etch set from Model Car Garage. There are also many scratchbuilt details added to this build. I will let the pictures speak for themselves. Too many details to list here.

Here's my entry for this month. Monogram's 1979 Z28. One of the first jobs I ever did with an airbrush, and the first model I ever entered into a contest. Been about 17 years ago. Also the first time I added plug wires, which are orange thread pulled thru wax! Way before I ever discovered the aftermarket. Decals are from a turbocharged Camaro snap kit.

Here is my entry for this month;

It is a Revell 1966 Chevy Chevelle Stationwagon.

I took out the most off the roof and replaced it with 2 layers off acetate. One green and one clear.

Shaved the hood. Reduced the 4 headlights to 2. Installed a custom grille from a Parts Pack. Recessed 2 antennas in one off the back fenders.
Lowered the suspension. Mounted The Modelhaus # 427 tires on parts box Astro supreme look alike rims. Back lights and center knob on steering wheel are artificial rhinestones.

The interior has a mexican blanket over the front seats. Some Tucīn Roll made out off sheet styrene is mounted in the luggage area.

The paint is a mix off Tamiya and Modelmaster products.
Silver, green, dark green flake and pearl clear.

This is started as a hot rod project I gave up on. I combined parts from several different kits as well as lots of scratch building to make this model AA. It isnt accurate but it is just meant to be a beater truck that I had fun building.
Rims, frame and flatbed are scratchbuilt.

My entry is a 62' jaguar MK II saloon based on the very well done Tamiya kit. My version here features a little custom body work, along with some extra detailing. The metal transfers are very well done. This kit was a pleasure to work with....Regards, Jeff

I've been laying low from here lately so here goes:
This is my "Pink Corvette" done a few years ago. The kit is the Revell '68 Corvette roadster with the custom wheels and sidepipes. Underhood I swapped in a tricarb setup from a Revell '69 Baldwin Motion Corvette kit. Otherwise box stock. Paint is Testors white enamel with ???? drops of red added.
