Here's mine. It's "The Texan". A 1:32 scale kit from the 60s. I built it pretty much right out of the box. The only addition I made was a distributor and plug wires. There's no 'chrome' in the kit. I used Pep Boys Chrome spray paint. It worked pretty well. I wanted this to look like a typical '60's show car. The paint is blue pearl nail polish with a metal flake clear over it. ![]() ![]() ![]() I took pictures while I was building if anyone is interested. http://public.fotki.com/DaveInTheHat/model...ds/the-texan-t/ |

Here's mine for the month. The Orange Hauler, straight out of the box, except for the steering arm. The kit one was gone elsewhere when I got into it. Made a new one from plastic tubing and solder. Lot of fun building this one. ![]() ![]() ![]()

Some lovely work here. As usual. Seems to be a bit more of a Rod bias this time. Anyhoo, here's one I built specially for the April MotM. I figured Clown wheels and the loudest (& most tasteless) paint job I could come up with would be perfect for April Fools Day, Just think of it as what some monied fool would do to "customise" his ride (and it would be a he - no woman has this little taste). I give you, Mercedes Blingz ![]() ![]() ![]() And in the sun, it just gets worse. Put sunglasses on now...
