Here's my entry for May. Morris Mini Cooper S 1275

The kit is the Tamiya Morris Mini Cooper, to which I have opened the boot, added scratch-built twin fuel tanks, covered spare wheel and battery. The engine is partially wired and plumbed. All chrome plating is stripped and redone with Alclad chrome, BMF on the window trim and grey flock on the interior. I also trimmed some of the tailpipes length, it was too long I think. The registration comes from a 1962 Morris Coopers S of the same colours, but it was not a 1275 engined one. They also happen to be my initials too.

Here is my entry for May. I built Revell's 2006 Mustang GT over a year ago. Tamiya Metallic Red with matching red interior and silver stripes. Wheels and tires from the Revell '69 Shelby GT 500. The rear spoiler is an inverted front spoiler from a AMT '69 Cougar Eliminator and the hood scoop is from a Revell '70 Boss 429. The side scoops are from an AMT '69 Barracuda.

Here is my latest entry. It's a custom 49 Merc. It's based on the AMT 49 Mercury kit with the addition of a Jimmy Flintstone resin body. The paint is House of Color with Slixx graphics thrown in. The spun aluminum wheel covers are from Parts by Parks. The oil filter is from Detail Master.
The model features a detailed flathead. The Stromberg carbs. are from Model Car Garage along with a MCG photo etch fan. The Optima battery is cast from resin. The exhaust is aluminum tubing with machined aluminum tailpipes. The driveshaft is also aluminum tubing. The headlights have been frenched along with parts box bullet taillights. The grill is mesh screen cut to fit.
The overall build took a total of 2 months to complete.

Hello to all again ;)

Here is my latest finished model for this month's contest. The model is 1/24 Italeri Scania R500 V8 but its a scratch built as you can see. The original model has 2 axles but mine has 3. The original one does not have a crane but mine has ;)
All rear parts and scratch accesories are made from liquid acrylic and polyester.
The entire model took over 4 months to finish and all electonic equipments are done by me and took most of the time. The crane did not have any hydraulic hose pipes on it so I added both from a special tube that gets thinner incase you hold it directly to fire. Lights are made of xenon leds and inside the cabin has up holstery made of original viscose flock and velvet dcfix. The exhaust pipe is also hand made. I used an empty aluminium pipe and gave its shape by curling it slowly and slowly.
Hope you like :)

Here are the pictures.
