Advanced Member Posts: 1,539 Group: Members Member #742 Joined: July 19, 2007	Here is my latest completion, a curbside Labonte Kellogg's Monte Carlo. Started as a Labonte prepaint snap kit. I stripped, sanded, and repainted it to get the colors a little more accurate. Used the decals from a Revell glue kit.

This is a 1969 Thunderbird pieced together from several kits, to wit: The body is from the Allison Thunderland kit, the chassis is from the MK '71 T-Bird, with front and rear suspensions from the AMT '65 Ford, the engine is the 429 from the Revell '71 Torino, the C6 trans is from the AMT '67 Comet, disc brakes (all the way around) are from a Revell F150 Lightning and the wheels are MRC Keystones with parts box tires. The hood hinge is ID/OD brass, the plug wires are Radio Shack wire wrapping dyed with RIT dye, and the interior was backdated to '69 specs.

Console and seats from a AMT '70 Dodge Challenger RT. Paint is Testor's Green-Go Lacquer. Wheels and tires from my parts box.

It's 1/48th scale Corsair this is converted to a LSC using parts from a lot of other kits to finish. This is a rescued kit that was being thrown out and it had parts missing, SOOOO, I thought "WHAT IF" and this is the result. Dan
