~ LINK TO FALLEN COMRADES VIDEO ~ ![]() ~ FLICKA'S FALLEN COMRADES STATEMENTS ~ I have to say-- really-- that every single person I interacted with in is game helped me to get to this point (albeit, some more than others). I still can't believe I am here, and some of them are not. These were tough to write. I tried to keep them short so you guys don't have to read a novel. ![]() ELYSE- I never got the chance to play with you, but we had a lot of friends in common. If things had turned out a little different, perhaps we would have been allies! BRUCE- You are a player who was taken out way before your time. A smart social player, and a good friend. I hope we can play again together one day! KEITH- You are someone else I never got to play with, but you seemed to be very active on the boards, and someone who would be fun to play with. REYNOLD- A few small mistakes were really the difference between you going deep into the game and going out pre-merge. If you had just been more active messaging, and had trusted the right people, it could've been a different game for you, as you were clearly great in the challenges. PEIH-GEE- Once my number one ally.... Until you started playing a Brandon Hantz-like game. Your downfall was brought on completely by your own actions. The PG I started the game with could've gone so much further. KIMMI- If things had been a little different, it could've been you here instead of me. I am sorry we didn't get to work together for more than one vote! You were very likeable, and the vote against you wasn't in the least bit personal! BETSY- You were a quiet player I never really got a chance to know. It's actually pretty crazy that you made it this far being so quiet in PMs.... Something you can be proud of. DARRAH- You and I definitely had some friends in common, and I was always told we would have gotten along great. I am sorry we didn't get the chance to play together, and I look forward to meeting you when this is all over. You are a challenge beast, and without even meeting you I always knew you were a huge threat to win this game. It's shocking that someone who was clearly so good went out so early. SANDY- You came such a long way from your second chance after the first vote.... Making the merge is something to really be proud of! This is a hard game to play if you can't be on a lot, which was ultimately your downfall, but... To make it as far as you did is really impressive. CLAY- A great ally and friend. I am sorry you had to go out as early as you did, but know we will be friends when this is all over! Your joke and riddle threads were always entertaining, and I appreciated how you tried to do things to help us all get to know each other and keep the tribe unified. GILLIAN- I wish I had gotten to know you better, because I enjoyed every chat we had after the merge. You were another vote that was in no way personal-- it was completely about the numbers. YAU-MAN- No matter how many final 2 deals you had, I still love you. Your vote out was the only one that ever totally surprised me. I owe making it this far in the game to you-- you took me under your wing after the swap and worked with me everyday after that. I never could have done this without you-- that's not kissing ass either, it's the truth. I am sorry we didn't make the final 3 together-- that was always my plan. I am so glad I got to meet you, and hope we will be great friends outside of the game. BURTON- I am glad we both made the merge, as I feel I really got to know you better then I had on old Pattaya. I always worried that you were playing me, and always thought you were so good at the game and had potential to go far. It wasn't until after the merge that I truly realized I could trust you (as much as you can trust any player), and was glad to work with you even if it wasn't for too long. You played a good game, and should take being voted out when you were as a compliment. DAWSON- One of my best allies. We were together on day 1, at the swap, at the merge, and at final 7. I always trusted you completely and never worried you would betray me. If you had only been able to be more social in the messages, you could've gone so much further. It was your quiet gameplay that did you in.... No one knew what you were thinking, and that scared them. I, on the other hand, knew you were a loyal and honest person. I am glad we were able to stick together for so long. JUDD- My greatest ally and an even greater friend. I always hoped it would be me and you in the final 2, and I am sad that wasn't meant to be. You know how much I love you, and voting against you was (and will be) the hardest vote I ever had to make in the game. I missed you the second your torch was snuffed-- my inbox was so empty without you! I cannot wait to meet the real Judd. I know we will be friends. Thanks for being you-- you made this game so much fun. CHAD- Although we didn't get to know each other too well, I really enjoyed talking to you as the game progressed. I think you are an all around nice person, and could have easily won this game. Plus, you were part of the only real "pair" left in the game... I couldn't just have you two make it to the end without trying to split you up! This was a vote that was purely strategic. MICHELLE- You played a great game, and were by far the most likely to take it all if you made it to the end. The fact that we all knew you were a threat, yet you still made it to final 4 shows what a truly great gameplayer you are. Great at challenges, great socially, and great strategically. A triple threat! ~ JAY'S FALLEN COMRADES STATEMENTS ~ ELYSE - I never got to meet you or have a conversation with you, but I’m sorry you were an early casualty of the game. From what I’ve heard, it was nothing negative you did or said on your part, just an unfortunate victim of a last-minute blindside. I hope that you had fun in this game- both in Sathon and in Ponderosa. BRUCE - Bruce!! We worked really well together the first week. The beginnings of the “chairs” alliance and everything that came with it. However there were a few things that happened that week that added up to too many strikes against you. Wasn’t my first choice to get you out on that night, seemed too early to me. It’s clear by how often I’ve seen you around in Ponderosa that you have a true love for this game, so I hope you get a second chance at it, this time as a veteran. KEITH - Hey Keith! Also never got the chance to meet you in this game. Heard that you had been making quite a few deals on the Sathon tribe, perhaps too many deals, so you were voted out before the swap. I’ve seen you lurking around the Ponderosa boards a bit, so I hope you have been showcasing your humor in Ponderosa! REYNOLD - Reynold, ah Reynold. You were very hard to read over on the Pattaya tribe, so you were definitely on everyone’s radar. I would’ve loved to see you vote out PG that night, but you decided to forward Burton’s message to PG and thus pretty much sealed your fate in this game. (#NamasteBitches) I hope you still had some good times while you were here, I know I would've liked some more time with you to figure out if I could trust you or not. PEIH-GEE - JPG 4 LYF!! OMG PG, what happened! You were so normal that first week -- we had a good thing going! Then around day 8 you changed, and started messaging with less and less punctuation, and when I had 6 epically long messages in my inbox about how we have to get out Burton, I knew that was the death of our alliance. Lucky for me, the swap happened immediately afterward and we were split up that way. ![]() KIMMI - Kimmi, another person I never got to get to really play the game with. You had humor in the public threads and from what I’d heard on New Pattaya, you were close with Brendan. And that means you are cool by my standards! There was going to be a show-down between you and Yau-Man/Judd, so it looks like you were just on the wrong side of the numbers that round. BETSY - You were actually the 2nd person that messaged me in this game, and your messages were always friendly. We never really talked much though - I was hoping that after the swap you’d open up more, but we never really made that happen. My willingness to vote out a rookie first at the swap (you) made me gain more trust with the vets on the New Pattaya tribe, so this vote moved my game forward. DARRAH - I can’t help but think I might’ve had the wrong impression of you, because you had a lot of fans on Thonburi! I was glad to have you on New Pattaya because of your impressive strength in challenges, but your messages had a theme— pulling me for information, but not offering up equal information in terms of quantity or quality. That, combined with a few other things made it smartest to push to vote you out after Betsy. This game would’ve been way way different for me if you had still been around at the merge, so this was a pivotal point in my game. SANDY - My little sister You had such joy for this game and your enthusiasm was contagious! I am very glad you had a second chance during that first “fake” tribal council. I was glad to have you around at the swap and tried to protect you as long as possible, but at some point I had to let you spread your wings and play your own game without the protection from more active players. This was the first vote of the game that was very personal to me, it wasn’t fun to vote you out knowing that you trusted your big brother.CLAY - My fishing buddy and fellow Believer. You had a very unique style to playing this game— you played your “Clay” role well and I enjoyed your joke threads and church on the beach, I can tell you have a lot of love for this game, and you had fun with it! It was not easy to vote you out that night, knowing you trusted me, but I had to do it to keep myself in the game, and out of the crossfire. I hope you understand. GILLIAN - Another vote I didn’t feel good about. Right from the start, your messages to me on New Pattaya were thorough, genuine, and logical. I could tell right away you are a smart player and I could see why Brobst would invite you back for another round. I had imagined us going far in this game together, but I blame myself for never seeing this to fruition. At the merge, we drifted away and I didn’t spend the time I should have cultivating our relationship. Your final words only confirmed how respectful and great of a player you are. YAU-MAN - Ohhhhhhh Yau You sly dog, haha. Damn you are a sneaky, savvy player and you have this talent of being able to tell people exactly what they want to hear in order for them to do exactly what you want them to do. I had my hesitations and red flags about you, but by the time I put two and two together and realized how dangerous of a player you are, I thought it was too late to turn on you…until Judd proposed that very idea. You play this game like a true, experienced veteran of this game. Hats off to you.BURTON - *sighs* Burton. You have been the best ally a person could ask for, and there was no hiding it from others that we were close. Since week one, a perfect friend to bounce ideas off of. I obviously was very glad to have you on New Pattaya with me, and if I had it my way you would’ve made it into the final 4. Our alliance didn’t last as long as I would’ve liked it to, but you played a great game, and I am overjoyed you didn’t go home when PG went on her witch-hunt ![]() DAWSON - Hey Dawson! I think I underestimated you in this game. You had a couple votes against you early on so I didn’t think you’d last as long as you did. You may not have messaged or talked as much as other people, but you were always sincere in your communication, and your final words show me that you enjoyed the ride and did your best - you should be proud of yourself. JUDD - Judd Judd Judd I compared you to Genie (the one from Aladdin) in one of my confessionals: A big personality with lots of humor and lots of ideas. No surprise Brobst brought you back into the game. I was told I could trust you, so I did. But after the Burton vote I learned a lot more about what you were saying to me vs. what you were saying to other people, and I couldn’t keep a wild card like you in the game, especially if you were planning to vote for me next. The fact that you went out with a 6-0 vote instead of voting for me when you could have easily done so shows a lot about your character, so I appreciate that!CHAD - Chad we didn’t have a ton of communication on New Pattaya, and even less so right after the merge, but I’m glad we broke the ice and we started talking more around final 7. I can’t honestly say anything bad about your character - you’ve been a stand-up player the entire time, from my perspective. I know you and Brendan are really tight, so it was just too dangerous to keep around a powerful pair - I just wanted a fair shot at the final 2 but it wouldn’t happen if I was in the final 3 with you and Brendan. This was a pivotal vote for me. MICHELLE - Michelle, I had been told pre-merge that you were a smooth player and someone to keep an eye on because you could end up winning this whole thing. We never really messaged much, mostly niceties and small talk, until you needed me for a vote (hey, I needed you too!). I'm just I’m sorry you didn’t get the chance to try to win immunity last week, or even say anything at tribal council. ~ BRENDAN'S FALLEN COMRADES STATEMENTS ~ wow. this has been such a crazy journey. so many people have come here playing their hearts out and you can't ask for anything more when it comes to this game. up front, i want to say thank you to everyone who gave it their all and made this such a fun and emotionally exhilarating experience. ELYSE: you made a great first impression to me. i wrote in my confessional that i couldn't wait to get to know you better. sadly you had better things to do than talk to brendan and eventually decided you should tell people that brendan and chad should be the next to go. there was a hell of a lot of chaos in that veteran's tribe and you received the brunt of it. BRUCE: you are the bomb. you were always tons of fun in the forums. sad to see you were too cool for your tribe to handle. thank you so much from everyone for the awesome tribe flags ![]() KEITH: good ol keith! told people to vote for me for two days and then came to me right after tribal council to ask "who's the vote for?". a player to the end. you definitely came here to play hard and i think you would've gotten away with it on any other tribe REYNOLD: it seemed like you had a lot of potential in this game, sad to see that the stress of the game and certain women got to you. it was nice to be able to interact with you however briefly, there were lots of conversations about you over on the veterans camp ![]() PEIH-GEE: i loved having you here and i loved seeing you go. excessive drug use and survivor don't mix ![]() KIMMI: queen kimmi. i had complete trust in you by the time the tribes swapped. i was devastated to see you go. i was a huge fan of the way you played this game, you wanted to make big moves and be in every which alliance, how could i not fall in love with that? i honestly can't even remember how many alliances we were in. you were a great friend to me in this game and i loved playing with you. i so wish you had made the merge, we could've caused some real shenanigans together. i always smile when i see you come online so much, you clearly have a real passion for the game and that's something to admire. i hope your opportunities to play in the future are both plentiful and successful ![]() BETSY: i wish you had found more time to devote to this game ![]() DARRAH: voting you out was one of the smartest things i did in this whole game. i made the mistake early on of thinking that we were close but you gave away your position the night that elyse went home. on pattaya you only confirmed my suspicions that we could never work together and keeping you around would get me into trouble later on. i do admire your gameplay and your challenge skills are absolutely mind blowing. you're a great competitor ![]() SANDY: i heard a lot of great things about you, i wish i could have seen them myself CLAY: i am very interested to meet the real you outside of the game. i could tell you want to bring a lot of light hearted fun and excitement to the game and i can only assume you are the same way in real life. unfortunately you weren't very interested in getting to know me but i hope you enjoyed your survivor experience here ![]() GILLIAN: i was so impressed by you. coming back from that first tribal council had to have been so tough. i never truly knew where your allegiance was but i did consider you an ally and a friend. even after i realized you were forwarding my messages to judd in the end i'm not sure if anyone knew who you were most loyal to. you were everyone's best friend which is a dangerous thing. people were scared of you from the very startYAU-MAN: the wizard. the puppet master. the mob boss. the sociopath. i'm still not sure which but holy damn you are one hell of a good player. the night you went home was so crazy, there were so many things that could have happened. i think we spent 2 or 3 hours discussing what to do but at the end of the day we had the opportunity to take out the best player in the game and we had to take it. it was hard for me to do, i really think we could've done a lot of damage working together late in the game. although i would've been scared shitless throughout fact is, the sky was always a little bit clearer for me after you left. your gameplay is insane, it blew my mind to see. i have a feeling you saw things coming 4 rounds before they happened. i hope that someday i can match the caliber of play that you hold yourself to. it was a really funny moment for me on day 2 or 3 when i realized that not only did i consider you my closest ally but 8 other people on the tribe did also  you're a master at this game, i can't wait to meet the real you and i'm hoping for the opportunity pick your brain about the game ![]() BURTON: oh burton i dont even know where to start. we really clicked on new pattaya, i was digging it. we probably could've easily ridden that train to the end but we both got so distracted by all the pretty people from sathon. yau-man clued me in to what was going on prior to the clay vote so i had a few days to prepare myself for what ensued. i think you know where your game went wrong and i know you're going to bring one HELL of a game next time around. you have clearly shown that you have the talent. the round you went home you were on too many radars and for me personally if you were gone then that opened up the door for me to work with jay long term. i'm really curious about if the rumors of you constantly wanting to pull all the rookies together will turn out to be true. i'm really looking forward to having lots of conversations about this game and life with you. i'm sure in some other universe we went to the final 4 together DAWSON: i was sad that you couldn't find much time to give to the game, i could absolutely tell your heart and head were in it. we really had a connection that we were working on towards the end there. i hope judd hasn't been giving you too much trouble in the jury house! so sorry about that. JUDD: you already know this but it might surprise you to hear it from me: voting you out was the dumbest thing i did in this entire game. maybe we'll talk more about this or maybe you won't care. i was working under the assumption that you were going to turn on me like you turn on yau man but at 5 (since you asked me to promise you 4). you have also probably learned by now that you were the backup vote that night. the supposed chance of a flip combined with the fact that no one could beat you in the end was enough to convince everyone that the vote should be for you. ironically it almost cost me my game. you loved to play bumbling ol judd but there were enough shining moments of acute cleverness to give you away. you were always a great friend and my worst enemy in this game. i have no idea how you managed to consistently maintain both. i have so many confessional entries devoted to how much i hate you and how hilarious you are, especially from the first week. my favorite moment with you was when keith was trying to tell us lies about each other and you just outright approached me and called me out about everything. then we spent the next 30 or so minutes bitching at each other and came out friends thus began our beautiful and horrific relationship. i'll say it one more time because i know you want to hear it again: i should've stuck with youCHAD: 100% trust. every survivor player dreams of it. i knew from the time we swapped tribes that i could trust you indefinitely. we drifted apart a little bit at the merge but by the time we hit 10 and the decision to vote came, i knew there was no way i could make plans to go to the end with anyone but you. all of a sudden we found ourselves in a really good position in the game and we almost got there. it's funny how we kept talking about "well if they're smart they'll take one of us out at 5", of course they were smart! unfortunately we made a couple of crucial gameplay errors in the week leading up to that night. i hope you've been having a good time in the jury house i think of you often and talk about you too much. did you see me win that challenge last night? wasn't that awesome? i voted for michelle because she thinks you're cute and i don't want you to be lonely over there my favorite moments with you were how after every vote we'd go to each other and say "dude we've so got this you're so awesome" "no you're so awesome dude but we've totally still got this." i think i got a little bit gayer after each of those conversations. that last one was rough though. that was definitely the lowest point in the game for me when they sent you home. thanks for being such a solid friend and ally throughout the game i cannot wait to meet the man behind the screenMICHELLE: someone else that i connected with very early on. i knew from day one that you were a brilliant, patient, and calculated player. you did not fail to impress. i'm not sure if you're aware of how much trouble i got into trying to protect you after the merge. at 5 you showed us how adept of a player you really are, we made a move against you and you retaliated by turning it back onto us. i was impressed with how quickly and skillfully you pulled that together. i really was open to working with you at 4 but for some reason you decided to throw me under the bus instead. in retaliation, i did the same. the irony lies in that after you were protecting flicka for so many rounds she was the one who was set on sending you home and respected me and jay enough to never even imply that we vote for each other. if that last round was representative of rookies vs veterans we got our asses handed to us  i guess it was never meant to be between you and i. you fought hard every time you were close to danger in this game and i loved that. it was an honor to play alongside you also to jay and flicka i just want to say that i'm incredibly happy to be here with both of you. we weren't always on the same side but the three of us made it here because we had each others back when it really counted. both of you have been fantastic friends and incredible competitors and i want to thank you for that. thinking back to the tribe swap when i was thinking "i'm gonna pick jay, i'm gonna pick jay" and then getting picked by him was a really fun moment for me. and then the first time flicka and i had a serious conversation and she was SO hesitant to say anything to me. we've all come a long way since then again, i'm super happy to be here with you guysand finally i want to thank BROBST for putting together and maintaining an EXTRAORDINARY game. you always exceed expectations you picked out some awesome rookies and i'm almost positive you hand crafted the veterans tribe to be the maximum amount of crazy i can't thank you enough for all the hours that you pour into this game that we all love. |
