The Walter Koenig Star Celebration is fast becoming one of the must-attend Star Trek events of 2012. Star Trek's beloved Chekov will at long last receive a Star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame on September 10, 2012, and the Star Celebration - set to be held September 8-10 in Hollywood and organized by Planet Xpo -- will find Koenig front and center at an array of Trek film and episode screenings, panels, Q&As, autograph sessions, parties and more, all culminating on September 10 with the Star induction ceremony.

Koenig will be joined throughout the weekend by his family and a galaxy of friends and associates from across his decades in the business, including from Star Trek and Babylon 5. Leonard Nimoy and Babylon 5 creator J. Michael Straczynski, for example, will serve as celebrity speakers at the induction ceremony. Meanwhile, the list of entertainment figures who will be on hand throughout the weekend at the Star Celebration continues to grow. So far, it includes Nichelle Nichols, Tim Russ, Marina Sirtis, Armin Shimerman, Harlan Ellison, Alan Ruck, Gary Graham, Bruce Boxleitner, Tracy Scoggins, Jerry Doyle, Richard Hatch, BarBara Luna, Bobby Clark, Celeste Yarnall, Jack Donner, Larry Nemecek, Malachi Throne, Richard Herd, Sean Kenny, Michael Forest and Gary Lockwood.
