Zangan~~Summon the Dragon!
====================================

A large pillow of smoke suddenly engulfed a small area nearby the meteorite. It didn't take long for the smoke to clear as an aged man stepped out with a bold look in his eyes. He had gray hair and was sporting a red cape with a casual white short sleeved shirt on. He had green baggy pants and clunky, but fitting brown boots on. His green eyes reflected the glow that the meteor was emanating.
Zangan approach the meteorite keeping his thoughts to himself. He only had a little brown bag attached to his belt on his waist and not showing any hesitation he walked right up next to the tornadic mist barrier which, oddly, didn't seem to have any sort of wind effect. It was truly only a barrier it seemed. Though it would seem reckless to jump inside of it, he thought. Zangan looked up at the tall structure knowing that the time had come for the destruction of this enigmatic rock.

"Time to go, ol' rock!" Pulling out his summon materia and W-Summon command materia, he pushed them onto his gloves sticking to them energetically. Raising his arms up he called out,

"Bahamut, dragon king! Show us your strongest form and relinquish this rock to nothing!"

In moments, green transparent orbs circled around Zangan as his body disappeared. Above the meteorite, the clouds swirled around in the opposite direction that the tornado was pulling them. The sky churned with a loud roar of a dragon. Soon, the clouds opened up for just a minute as the great dragon king, Bahamut was now visible to the whole town. It flew with elegance into the sky upwards for several moments. Not too long, the dragon was in the depths of outer space. Looking down with it's spiked six wings, the smooth beast charged up a familiar energy within it's bowels. Opening its mouth, a prismatic ball of light could be seen from the planet itself. With no hesitation, Bahamut released it's blast from it's inner body and shot the high energy Terra Flare at the meteorite. In just a second, the beam struck the whirling mist barrier.

But having a counter force, the barrier tried to repel the attack. A battle of pushing began. Shockwaves of wind and rainbow sparks of energy flew off of the struggling defense of the barrier. The Nibelheim towns folk could see the clashing powers generate an immense energy that was rocking the ground itself. Even people in North Corel could see the fireworks over the mountains. A sound of metal and water was strangely emitted from the opposing forces as Bahamut's blast began to lose it's strength. The tornadic barrier's defense had turned into a retaliating attack and was bound to push back until it struck the dragon down. Shooting the blast back up into the sky, it was certain that Bahamut was going to loose.

The beast screeched with a roaring whistle, but just as the summon was about to loose all of it's energy, am image of itself appeared next to Bahamut preparing it's own attack by mimicking what the original Bahamut did. While this new Bahamut Zero charged it's Terra Flare, the counter attack of the barrier inched closer and closer to it's victory. The stars seemed to twinkle brighter as the battle raged. People watched in awe as Bahamut seemed to be the only creature capable of destroying the barrier. They were hoping that Zangan's summon would to the trick.

The second Bahamut Zero was ready to fire off it's own seismic attack at the defending meteorite. With a grand push, it too released it's energetic attack at the mountain sized blue rock. Just as quickly as the first, this Terra Flare struck the barrier down near the planet as well. Tying to send some strength to this new attacking energy, the barrier lost it's grip on the first Bahamut and the two began to work together with a Duo Terra Flare. They two energetic pillars of assaulting prismatic destruction started to swirl together and create a multi colored tornado of it's own easily over powering the meteorite's barrier.

In an earthquake-like rumble the barrier bubbled out reaching across the skies. The Duo Terra Flare penetrated the barrier's defense and in a quick second, the bubbled rainbow colored tornadic barrier expoded in a furry of wind powerful enough to knock a small house down.

Gusts of air blew across the fields and into the ocean creating waves that would reach the shores of the Wutai Continent, probably toppling any boats or rafts around that area. Nibelheim's residents were knocked down because of the gust but the houses stayed in tact and the people were all alright. Bahamut faded away along with his counter part as their attack had only destroyed the barrier leaving the meteorite open for viewing.

Silence fell upon the area as Zangan reappeared slightly exhausted. He fell to one knee and looked up at his work.

"Well...well...Looks like I did a half ass job."

Chuckling he took a few deep breaths of air and stood up. He cracked his neck and looked back towards the town of Nibelheim a few miles away.

"How do ya' like that?"

With no more barrier, it was finally time to see what this intruding meteor was all about...

A gentle scent wafted on the breeze accompained by petals of an exotic flower. Roussalier looked on at the still great hero with quiet reverance before walking forward, passing with little sound.

"I see." She stated softley, her voice low and melodic, probably startling the older gentleman. "Bahamut. Lord of Dragons."
She looked from to the man, her eyes shining slightly. She turned slowly, examining her surroundings, before facing him again. She made a low bow . "Master Zangan." She returned to her oringal position, placing a hand on her chest. "Roussalier."

-Hearing the explsion and chaos from afar, Lyle looked to the sky and paused in mid travel. His ears srpung up with excitment. The sound was all to familar to him. A sound that would not leave Lyle's memory.-

"Bahamut........I knew you would show up sooner or later. The hunt is on. I will get what I want. All these years and now you show up. I have waited for this opportunity and do not intend to leave empty handed."

-Lowering his head back to his orignal positon, he headed toward the sounds. Having his sword gripped in his hand firmly around the hilt of his sword. The excitment ran through his veins like the blood did in his body. 3 years has he waited for this opportunity to face Bahamut. Now is his time to shine. Lyle stops close to a cliff's edge nearby where the explosion had occured. Eyeing the area slowly he noticed a woman and a man talking.-

"Hmmm. I hope they aren't here for Bahamut. I don't want to spill anymore bllod than I have to. But if so, then so be it. I have one goal and that is to face Bahamut."

-Hopping to his feet, then to each plateau until he reached the two strangers. Once he made it to where they were he crouched into his attack position. His eyes shifted from one person to the other making sure they didn't make any sudden movements.-

"What brings you two here? Are you here for Bahamut?"

Zangan stood staring up at the meteorite giving a wave to Roussalier.

"So, ya' know me, huh?" he said in a curious tone.

Before he could receive a response, another figure had stumbled up on the site. "Oh? Bahamut?" He chuckled slightly. "You must have seen that large explosion or somethin'. Heh."

He turned back to face the new character. "I just summoned that creature to take away this large barrier surrounden' that hoverin' rock there," giving a thumb's back to the meteorite.

Smiling, Zangan looked over at Roussalier. "By the way, I can't say I remember you..." Scratching the back of his head with seeming embarrassment, "You're not one of my students are you? Eh heh..."

Roussalier looked at Zangan, a small smile crossing her lips. "No. I am not." She looked from the man, to the spot Bahamut had attacked several moments before hand, to the new man. She quickly turned to the new man, green locks falling over her shoulder.

"Who are you?" Her voice was soft and melodic, but her eyes looked quite serious. Her hand was poised carefully at her side, mere inches from her bow.

-Eyeing the both for an extended time, he relieved his grip of the sword and stood uprightly facing both the man and the woman. Something about her voice calmed him down and gave him a since of peace. Just like his mother use to do. He cracked a smile as to seem harmless.-

"My name is Lyle. I am here for the Bahamut. I have searched my whole life for it and now it's right in front of me. I will do anything to recieve such power as Bahamut."

-His voice was stearn and confident as he spoke to the woman and icluding the man in the introduction as well. He took a step back and clinched his fist lifting them up toward the both of them. The smile growing on his face as if he was sure that they would give up and let him have Bahamut. In his mind he hoped that his bluffing act would do the trick. The last thing he needs is to have to fight them both and be to weak for Bahamut.-

"By any means necessary. And who might you be?"

Roussalier smiled softley, bowing gently. "Roussalier." She introduced herself, hand touching her chest.

Then quick as a flash, she slide between his legs, drawing her bow and pressing an arrow flat against his neck. "Foolish to try. Bahamut's power is not here. Why do you seek the King of Dragons?" She pressed the tip of the arrow into his neck to emphasise her seriousness.

-Eyes widening in shock and fear he stood upright being staitonary The feel of the arrow in his neck got his adrenaline pumping. Sweat brimmed from his face as he eyed the arrow.-

"We-well...I think I would know the presence of Bahamut. But to answer your question Mam, It is a goal I have set to battle the King of Dragons. I don't necessarily need to win or lose. Just a battle would please me very much. A souviner would be nice too. Heh"

-His voice trembled in fear and also in exictment. Tending to tremble alot got him through many battles seeing as his opponents thought he was afraid. His eyes remained fixated on the arrow laying flat against his neck. There was no way of avoiding this attack.-

Zangan's right eyebrow perked up at the calm hostility of Roussalier. He cleared his throat, keeping his eyes closed, and his head tilted slightly downward. "Ahem. Bahamut...You can find one of his strains in the Shinra Manor. The residents in Nibelheim don't go in there anymore because that's where the dragon seems to live now."

He looked towards the town which was still about two miles north. "Just keep headen' in that direction and find the largest building in town. That'll be the manor. I don't reckon' ya' go in though. That Bahamut is mighty strong. Heh."
Scrathing the back of his head again, "It took me a while to get Bahamut myself, guy, and I'm at level 50. Ahahaha!"

Zangan cleared his throat again. "Well...I'm gonna' stay here and tend to this rock. -Make sure no fool tries to go inside without the proper essentials, ya' know what I mean? Heh."

He turned to face the rock and walked closer to it standing firmly near the large crevice opening. "Hm..."

With a purse of her lips, she slowly lowered her bow, replacing it with a quiet grace to it place on her back. Her eyes looked at calm as a spring day.

She turned to the large rock, eyes set upon it. Her bottom lip jutted slightly forward in thought. "Feels...familar." She said, simply directed at no one in paticular, as her eyes slowly closed. A visable shudder ran down her back as reopened them.

-Still trembling from the excitment which had just occured, Lyle relaxed his shoulders and eyed the woman that had the arrow to his neck. She was beautiful, yet fierce at the same time. Something about her stood out to him. After a moment of studying her, he shook his head to regain his focus. Looking toward the man that spoke to him giving him only a slight nod before walking off.-

"Thanks for the info. I'm sure I can handle myself though. I have no intention of being killed or killing the King of Dragons. All I want is a battle and perhaps something to take with me."

-Giving them both a slight wave goodbye as he spoke over his shoulder. A couple of miles wasn't a problem to him. It pleased him that it was so close. A wide smile appeared on his face as he trudged over the rough terrain.-

Zangan crouched down to position himself with his legs crossed over one another sitting down. His arms crossed in fashion with them as he began to retain his energy. With a sigh, he closed his eyes and paused before speaking to Roussalier.

"So what's your story, kiddo?"

Roussalier looked towards the man, her eyes with a spark of laughter to them. "Kiddo?"

She sat down quietly on the ground, pushing her hair over her shoulder. She thought for a moment, then slowly pressed her lips together. A haunting melody flowed softley from the woman. Though no words were said, the tune spoke volumes. Each pitch and change told her company more about her life then words ever could.

-Hearing the two strangers that now have names, his stepped slowed down then eventaually to a stop. Their conversation peeked his interest even though nothing was really said yet. Something about the woman intrigued him. He wanted to know about her more. Pretending to take a break nearby he sat down on a nearby plateau. Closing his eyes then folding his arms sitting tentively listening to the conversation a few yards back.-

"Hmmm.......Perhaps I should stick around alittle longer. I might be able to get some more information from them. The king of Dragons can wait one more day."

"Quite a tune there, kiddo." Zangan's eyes were shut as he listened to the melody. "Can't say I've heard somethin' so beautiful in a while." He sighed in contentment as he postured his sitting position to the right a bit. Leaning to his side he took in a quick breath, exhaling it through the other end of his body. Chuckling, "Bet ya' never heard a good tune like that one. Bwahahaha!" Laughing to his own discord, Zangan awaited predicted visitors of the meteorite that were surely on their way.
