Wow, every time I'm not on the chopping block, I'm the swing vote. If that doesn't spell fucked, I'm really not quite sure what does.

But in terms of updates, the reasons why I voted Jeremy out were because:

1. If this "pretty" alliance were really in charge, Aaryn and Kait are powerful enough without Nick or Jeremy around. If I had the opportunity to vote out David or GM over Jeremy, I would've taken it, but it came down to Howard/Jeremy - there was no way I was voting to evict Howard, even if he did push for me to be evicted.

2. He voted to evict me that time last week? I know that Howard pushed to evict me as well, but.....the others don't know I know that. I just want to see whether they bring that up ^_^

3. Howard's a good shield for me, in a way that Jeremy isn't. Jeremy has his fingers in every pie, so does Howard, I'm guessing, but at the same time, I think people tend to overlook me when Howard's around, whereas conversely, Jeremy tends to be overlooked as well, leaving me as the target?

Final 9 ^_^ Glad to have made it here.

So, Nick and Jeremy went. I knew Nick was going home, but out of loyalty to him, I decided not to vote against him. Sure, he's been sketchy, but I genuinely liked him as a person, and as a player (and I hope we do get to talk outside of this game, because he seems like a genuinely nice person as well). So yeah, I guess even if that does put a target on my back, Nick is worth it ^_^

Jeremy was more difficult though. I liked him and everything, it's just, Howard and I are (from my perspective) closer. To other people, I'm using the excuse that Jeremy voted for me, and Howard never did - but I'm just using that as an excuse - also, it has the secondary purpose of people thinking that Howard and I aren't close and that he had never told me about it. To be honest, it doesn't really phase me - I get Jessie was clearly playing better than I was, so yeah, they were closer to her. It's a game, it doesn't bother me, it is what it is.

David nominating me wasn't really a surprise - I had been wanting him out ever since Round 3, it's only a matter of time before shit gets back to him. So yeah, he nominated me, we'll see what he says when he wakes up - I want to see his justification, more than anything. As I said, I'm not bitter or angry, we're at the F9, people have to put us up, that's the nature of the game. I may play hurt/bitter if I think it'll get me places (as I did with Nick and Howard). =O

Developments during the day also included the formation of Howard's "Middlemen" alliance. To counteract Team Pretty (Kait/Aaryn/Nick/Jeremy), Howard formed the Middlemn - an alliance of Howie/me/Elissa/Amanda/Candice. Given that house divisions were largely split amongst girls vs guys, we agreed that if Amanda/Elissa won HoH, they'd nominate Niremy, and if Howie/me/Candice won, we'd nominate Kait/Aaryn - such that we'd preserve our covers. Ended up working well.

Whether this alliance continues, remains to be seen. I'd like to think that it would, because it keeps me safe for a bit (I mean, there's only so many times you can float around at the centre of the game before being a target), and also, it allows me to whittle Aaryn/Kait/GM/David down a bit.

And lastly, a quick brief ranking:

1. Howard - still my number one guy

2. Amanda - I think she and I are similar in a way. I'm pretty sure she'll be insulted to hear this - but because we're in the same position, I feel we have an alliance of circumstance. Who knows, she could be playing me.

3. Candice - I like her, she's my 'shield'.

4. Elissa - The last member of our middlemen. She's only down here because she didnt' seem as enthusiastic as the others.

5. GM? My final 2 alliance :cry

6. David - lol, he's opened up a bit to me. I still don't trust him

7. Kait - this bitch is good. Needs to go ASAP though.

8. Aaryn - fuck, she's a fantastic player. But too dangerous for me to trust or go anywhere near the end with. She'll take me out before I can take her out though :cry
