Rogers County Sheriff's Office: Man Wounded In Possible Bigfoot Hunt
Posted: Nov 03, 2013 11:10 AM EST Updated: Nov 03, 2013 1:41 PM EST

Dee Duren, NewsOn6.com

ROGERS COUNTY, Oklahoma -
Rogers County Sheriff's Department made multiple arrests in what appears to be an accidental shooting. Some involved say it happened during a Sasquatch hunting expedition.

Deputies were told that two men were hunting - apparently for Bigfoot - around 177th East Avenue and Tiger Switch Road Saturday night. One of the men reportedly heard a noise, jerked and shot his friend in the back, authorities say.

"When you start off with an explanation like that, do you believe anything after that?" Sheriff Walton said Sunday morning.

The men called 911 and met emergency responders at a QuikTrip near Interstate 44 and 161st Street. The wounded man is expected to survive, Walton said.

Walton said the incident is still under investigation and that the men's stories were inconsistent. Authorities haven't yet determined whether drugs or alcohol were involved, he said.

"It probably was an accidental shooting," Walton said. "Our efforts now are to locate the weapon that was used."

Keep checking back for updates as more information is confirmed.

So I assume, hunting for bigfoot with guns meant their intentions were to bag one?

Dumb arses.

From what I saw online at FB, they likely aren't "real bigfoot researchers" and were more likely a bunch of local good'ole boys who had been out drinking when this transpired.

I'm sure there'll be some internet follow on it.

Look at these people's mug shots online....it will explain everything.... 4 idiots hunting bigfoot at night, the convicted felon's son in law shot their buddy after getting scared, said he heard a "barking noise", called 911, felon's daughter paniced & lied to cops, her dad, the felon threw a gun in a pond, police dive team recovered. Shooter will be charged, shot dumbass will recover. If there was a Sasquatch there, I wonder what it thought as all of this dumbass drama unfolded...hahaha....no wonder they hide like hell from humans.
