+ point Polysics sound a bit like Devo, who wear plant pots on their heads & are quite good. I shall inspect further! - point There's nothing wrong with Morrissey. I once had the pleasure of a couple of pints with his guitarist Alayn white, who is a really genuine, pleasant & friendly chap. -------- (Off topic) Whilst I'm bragging about my links to the stars, a friend & I once came across a dejected looking Gary Numan in a pub in Hull; There were several flyers around the town sporting the modification 'Gary Nuwman - CANCELLED. Polysics are a modern day Devo. A modern day Japanese Devo with two girl members, more modern equipment, and a constant lunatic enthusiasm. Honestly, if you are a Devo fan then you should definitely like Polysics. I was a Devo fan, and a friend of mine gave me a Polysics album. I was very impressed. Not only because it was very good, but also because I was suprised to hear music like this being made these days. The Devo influence is absolutely massive. The costumes, the videos, and the music usually sounds like Devo, but sped up and crossed with a big bag of fun and energy. They have even covered about 6 Devo tracks. Mark from Devo is even a big fan of the band, and used one of their albums as his answering machine, forcing the caller to listen to it when they rang. He says Polysics "carry on the flag for Devo" and that about sums it up. And by the way, that Morrissey thing I made was just random nonsense. Not any kind of attack on him. |

My sister has the lion toy in that Morrissey video. And Polysics do seem pretty awesome from what I've heard so far (which really isn't much). But then I'm a huge Devo fan and all that. |

I haven't played with it, (my buddy does the the editing) but from what I am told, it's got an easy to use Croma-key function for our Green screen... We have a Sort of MST3K-Esc Show planned, and the test turned out nice. |
