Jon Hurt is in The Plague Dogs, right? I must buy that one after I've watched the rest on my pile.
The Plague Dogs is considered the spiritual sequel to Watership Down. It's also written by the same author and directed by the same guy too.

If you do buy the DVD, make sure it's the one where the title is written in the Impact font. That's the uncut version, which was thought lost until recently. But the other had some bizarre edits to it for time restraints.

So get THIS ONE

and not THIS ONE

That's the only way to tell the two apart. Ironically the uncut version has more features and is also cheaper!

Thanks Larry!

Has anyone else seen When the Wind Blows? I thought the graphic novel was unerving, but the film is one of the most disturbing I've ever watched.

You big jessies, it's a kids' film! There's nothing disturbing about it. Watership Down, now there's a film to scare children.

That's true. I think the image of seeing the imagery which strongly suggest that a little bunny was stuck underground and that air could not escape his lungs put me off sleeping.

No problem :D

Yeah, I spent years tracking down a copy on VHS, only for them to release it on DVD a month later >.>

And Pak, trust me, The Plague Dogs is far far darker than Watership down.

Did I need to know that?
Actually you already should. If not I refer you back to most topics in which Micster has posted.
