After calculating XP from last night's session, the party has gained enough Experience to level up to level 5. To complete your level up, you must choose One (1) Level 5 or lower Daily Attack Power from your class. Any character with a Spellbook chooses Two (2) Daily Attack Powers from their class. If you have taken the Expanded Spellbook Feat, you instead choose Three (3). Following this post is a list of applicable books for each character's choices. If you have any questions, or comments, please feel free to post them in reply to this message. If you have made your choice(s), please PM me what you have chosen, or reply to this post clearly stating your choice(s), including the Source Book and Page (For Example, if you found your power in Divine Power, and on page 46, you would write it as DP-46) for each choice.

I'd like this one, from Dragon Magazine issue 386: Pinning Darts Barbs of force fly from your hands, pinning your enemy to the ground. ~Arcane, Force, Implement ~Standard Action | Ranged 10 ~Target: One creature ~Attack: Charisma vs. Reflex ~Hit: 2d10 + Charisma modifier (4) force damage, and the target is immobilized until the end of your next turn. ~Miss: Half damage, and the target is immobilized until the end of your next turn. ~Active Familiar: If you rolled an even number on the attack roll, you do not expend this power if you choose to deal no damage.
Suggestion for Naris: Sorcerer Daily Spell 5 EDIT: An interesting thought, and an ability she could use. However...compared to Pinning Darts and the other Level 5 options I had, I feel that for now Pinning Darts may be the better option. Both of these are very "Naris-y" spells, and I think they would suit her well; however, given what I've seen of Naris's future options I feel like there will be more opportunities to increase her maneuverability and perhaps not quite as many opportunities to pin an enemy, which can be beneficial to everyone. If I'm wrong about that assumption, though, I'll reconsider and maybe ask everyone else what they think. :3 Edited by Naris, Oct 23 2011, 06:06 PM.

DP Page 9: Dance of Flame Multicolored flames dance across your weapon and ignite your enemy, erupting onto other enemies the longer the flames dance. Daily * Divine, Fire, Weapon Standard Action | Melee weapon Target: One creature Attack: Wisdom vs. AC Hit: 2[W] + Wisdom modifier damage. Effect: The target takes ongoing 5 fire damage (save ends). Each Failed Save Throw: An enemy of your choice within 5 squares of the target takes ongoing 5 fire damage (save ends).
Suggestion for Yavuz: Avenger Daily Prayer 5

Wow! This was hard to choose, so many good things... but... MP1-Page 76: Flashy Riposte Under attack, you elegantly whirl and let your blade give a sharp reply, leaving your foe off balance. Daily*Martial, Rattling, Weapon Immediate Reaction Melee Weapon Trigger: An enemy makes a melee attack against you. Requirement: You must be wielding a light blade. Target: The triggering enemy Attack: DEX vs AC Hit: 2[W] + DEX modifier damage. Effect: The target grants combat advantage to you and your allies until the end of your next turn. |

Decisions decisions. But it ultimately came down to, 'How can I have even MORE fire?' PHB3-Page 105: Rune of the Ember of Wrath You strike your foes, branding them with the rune of the ember of wrath. Daily * Divine, Fire, Weapon Standard Action Melee weapon Target: One or two creatures Attack: Strength vs. AC Hit: 1[WI + Strength modifier fire damage. Miss: Half damage. Effect: If you attack only one creature with this power, it takes ongoing 5 fire damage (save ends). If you attack two creatures, both are affected by the ember of wrath (save ends). Until the ember ends on a target, whenever that target is hit by a melee or a ranged attack, the other target takes 5 fire damage. Edited by Memnarch, Oct 23 2011, 08:57 PM.

Oh dear god, this was a no-brainer. This attack is boss. Only thing I don't like is that it's "Force" damage and not psychic, so I don't get my nice Psychic damage bonus x3. OH! Whatever happened to the loot from when we killed the Necromancer? I remember there being an Orb that gave "Force"-based attacks a bonus or something. Telekinetic Maul Psion Attack 5 You form a maul of telekinetic force and slam it into your foe, knocking that enemy backward. Daily. Force, Implement, Psionic Standard Action Ranged 10 Target: One creature Attack: Intelligence vs. AC Hit 3d12 +intelligence modifier; force damage. and you push the target a number of squares equal to your Wisdom modifier (minimum 1). If you push the target into difficult terrain. the target falls prone. Miss: Half damage, and you push the target 1 square. |

When I get around to it, a Loot Journal will be posted where you guys can claim loot from past battles. Or fight over it. As long as someone who can actually use the item gets it, I'm fine with however you guys distribute loot. |

Now, you see, the thing is, they're changing Ranged weapons for a reason. Hunters lose all melee weapons. Everyone else loses all ranged. Now all guns/bows/crossbows are Hunter Weapons. No moar "Hunter Weapon" crap.

This was a tough one but remembering what happened to me last time (T_T Thank you Roberta for that save) im going to have to choose: Dragon Magazine No387 Beastly Protector Ranger Attack 5 Your situation looks bleak, but your companion comes quickly to your rescue. Daily + Beast, Martial Standard Action Melee beast 1 Requirement: You must be bloodied. Target: One or two creatures Attack: Beasts attack bonus vs. AC Hit: 2(B) + beasts Strength modifier damage, and you gain 10 temporary hit points. Miss: Half damage. Effect: Until the end of the encounter, each time an enemy adjacent to your beast companion makes a melee attack against you, your beast companion deals damage equal to its Strength modifier to the attacker as a free action. |
