This tome is as heavy as it looks. The thick, worn leather that makes up it's cover is plated with bits of scrap scale armor. While they seem placed randomly, sewn into the cover only so that all the edges line up; on it's front the swirl of metal begins to resemble Memnarch's ghurla, the rune on his forehead.

One part of this journey is over. It might be appropriate to suggest another is beginning.

Home is as far away as ever now, but I do not miss it; I can still feel the Mountain inside, and that is enough. After all those long hours sitting in that crate cooling off, it felt good as is said 'to stretch my legs'. I do not mind the stillness, but there is so much more to be learned through activity. Barely a few hours and already I have seen combat. The practice is good, for practice it was. Tieflings, hardly a challenge, but without a chance to learn, there cannot be improvement. Battle is as much a school as any building. Warforged, they call us. Made for battle. But if I was to be asked, I would say we were made to learn.
