I wanted a stuff meeting however its new years so that's not happening. I need opinions from you all about certain things. Mainly exp stuff

I DON'T want to do it like BTW where everything gets graded. I think its a pain on the players, the staff, and everyone in general. I wouldn't mind if things like kido had more of a TNF feel of "to learn this you need a threat with someone who knows about it and your character needs to do the spell this many times to really have it down." or something

I do however like BTW's idea of bonding points with your zank. I wouldn't mind for shinigami going "make a zank thread and have the staff check it over" and we can be like "hey, you did this, this, and this. so you should be able to use this ability now" that way the only thing we'd really have to grade is the shinigami's threads and only certain ones.

Also, spirit classes. I want to keep arrancer, vaizard, and espada as far in the back as possible right now. Having them around only causes trouble really. Expcept the "hollow queen" character will be a naturaly made arrancar, and probably a few NPC subordinates to balance out the captains.

Though, still on the subject of spirit classes. Obviously humans will be a starting choice, and possibly hollows. But should we have it so you need a long event thread to be a shinigami? because unless we put some restriction on it tones of people are going to go for shini.

Last, Soul Society Captains. NPC's for now that once a shini feels confident enough they can take on a staff member controlling the NPC for a captain position?

I know blade has been very "its your RP do what you want" and while i apreciate that I do want opinions because what i want isn't AS important as what the members in general may want.

I think the bonding points sound good. I don't know why we can't have arrancar and vizards...they exist and have existed since before the series started so I think it's silly to get rid of them. The NPCs to balance out captains, and the challenging captains sound good though, so does the zanpakuto. I think we need to be careful about that though just to make sure it does take some skill.

My thoughts are just that, MY thoughts, so don't take what I say the wrong way.

1. I am particularly fond of the grading system style RP. It can be hard if the staff doesn't keep up, but otherwise I always thought it ran smoothly. I would be sad to see grading get thrown out of the window as that is what I enjoy doing most.

What way do you want characters to gain strength? No stats or exp is not a system that will work well in MY eyes.

2. BP is okay with me.

3. The idea of keeping espada and vaizard on the back burner is a great idea. It is too early for that to happen anyway. I think we should do a site wide arc in which we can get to that point. I think a steady build would be great for something like that. I am currently part of a naruto RP in which all the members, admin included, are academy lvl or genin all around 11-13 years old. No one starts at the top, they build their way their.

4. Well, we can't just cut off being a shinigami. I think the right circumstances are needed.

I think the problem with a bleach RP is size. We need to have "a lot" of members to try and balance out the three worlds. We can't have ten members trying to RP all in different areas. A large number of members in each class is good, but once number decline the area becomes stale as people won't have anyone new to RP with.

"I" just don't think a Bleach RP site can succeed unless there is a large number of members.

the thing i thought was that with BTW it really is level based. I was thinking more along the lines of like TNF where we have abilities, and we go "well to train...lets say this kido, you need this long of an RP with someone else who knows the kido" then you tell a mod to look it over and approve it. That way blade you can still look at threads but people won't bitch about exp because its not exp based. Also, with no exp. based system it really comes down to "what abilities do i have and how well can i use them" so as i said in theory even a tenth seat could have a very slim chance to become captain.
