Well we have a 'What's your favorite movie' thread, I was wondering something. Have you ever waited a long time for a movie and then find out that it sucked? Movies that I thought were pretty dissapointing are 'Honey' & 'Wrong Turn' Not even Jessica Alba and Eliza Dushku could save those movies. |

How could you not like Wrong Turn? It was one of my favorite movies, Eliza was great in it. Honey, on the other hand. Did suck. Well, the only movie that sucked for meh was S.I.C.K The filming was bad, the acting, the storyline, the clown, all horrible. |

I didn't say I didn't like it, even though I agree, I made it look like that. But I had just expected it to be a lot better... I mean, the whole story line is pretty weird... if people know there are 'mutants' and people keep dissapearing in those woods, then why isn't anyone checking it out? I didn't really like Honey... I was really dissapointed since Jessica Alba is my favorite actress and don't get me wrong, I still think she did a great job, but you know what they said about the story here: 'Her boss wants to have sex with her (I expected a big drama scene) when she walks out, he threatens her'... But they didn't make it look like a big deal AT ALL... I haven't seen the movie S.I.C.K, but since you mentioned a clown, I don't think I'm gonna watch it :P |

I don't really have one particular movie that I find dissapointing. In my opinion, sequals to animated movies have been dissapointing. Most of them pale in comparison to the originals. It seems like the animators, directors, and producers don't put the same amount of effort into their animated sequals. I'm guessing one of the reasons is that they think they can make it quicker because they know what they're doing, and they know most of the characters already. Some of the animated sequals that I found dissapointing are: - Shrek 2 - Toy Story 2 - The Lion King 2 , and The Lion King 1 1/2 - Pochahontas 2 - all of the newer Beauty and the Beast movie sequal type things Also, I've never really been fond of any fictional horse movies. They were all too predictable, and very boring. For the most part each horse movie's plot is: kid wants horse/kid gets horse, kid rides horse, some big bad event happens, everything miraculously gets better, happy ending. ~Melissa |

The worst movie I have ever seen was Hitch with Will Smith. I mean before it came out. They made it look like it was really funny. And it wasn't funny at all. |

I wasn't a huge fan of Mr and Mrs Smith - it seemed overly action-y. Then again, when I saw it I was tipsy, sleepy and with a guy so unable to admire Brad Pitt sufficently. Maybe it was the circumstances that were most disappointing. |

So I guess if you love action you will love Mr. And Mrs. Smith right? Because I love Action/Drama alot of times. |

I think if you like action you'd like it. I'm not a big action movie fan, so I find quite a lot of the big budget action movies disappointing - like Pearl Harbour. One battle scene was 45 minutes long and not even crucial to the plot. I mean, why? It didn't even feature Ben Affleck looking smoulderingly gorgeous, as he was 'dead'. |

In the movie Pearl Harbor they were just trying to show people what happen. Because alot of people were starting to forget Pearl Harbor. "December 7th 1941, a date which will live in infamy, the United States of America was suddenly and deliberately attacked by naval and air forces of the Empire of Japan." |

Sequels do generally disappoint. One of the worst has to be Legally Blonde 2. The first was class but I found that the second one was too babyish, it seemed to be aimed at a younger audience. Another Movie I found disappointing was Bewitched - loved the tv show but I found the film to be weak and Nicole Kidman just pissed me off with that breathy voice. |

I found that Miss. Conginiality(sp) 2 was a great one I was very upset about her and that agents Mathews thing. I also really was disapointed with Hitch too. Kay~ |

I agree with the people who said Hitch, I wanted to see that movie for a while, well someone brought the dvd to school the last day and we watched it... in half an hour I already wished it was over soon. Even though I love Will... |

Another dissapointing movie would have to be Glitter with Mariah Carey. Personally she did better in Wise Girls who she plays as Raychel. |

Harry Potter and the Goblet Of Fire. I didn't like it and I was very dissapointed. I waited four hours to watch it and I didn't end up bringing Subway (the sandwhich) in... I mean they couldn't even make me cry when Cedric was killed. I mean... WTH?! |
