Yes the fact that there wasn't going to be an Outcast twist but then having the players think there was going to be one for three days is where the problem came from.

The players weren't going to think that for 3 days though? Not in the original idea. It wasn't until Robert and Mel suggested the brilliant idea of creating fake accounts that the players would think it was coming for 3 days.

If it had all happened on Sunday like I had originally suggested and before you all bullied Blue into changing his mind, it would have been fine and quite hilarious.

This is not fair IANCD. You know that I have to practically walk on eggshells when it comes to hosting, one little mistake sets the players off (Leagate, turkeygate) I'm trying to PREVENT that from happening. *WE* might think that this prank will be fun. *THEY* (the players) might not think it's funny and they will, in-turn find some way to hate me for it. I'm trying to avoid that at all costs. All for the sake of APRIL FOOLS DAY? Not worth it.

Mel's point was 100% valid and on point. You really wanted to risk a prank spoiling the integrity of the game by having an outcast say more than he should?

Well I said in one of my posts that if the prank were to go down then that is the only way it would be acceptable. I didn't know the idea because I didn't hear about it until the last page which at that point it had turned into something else.

However how hilarious would it really have been? Like it was a prank but hearing people bitch is hilarious now? Wasting people's time is hilarious? All it would have done is led to bitching AND for once Blue has a cast that isn't bitching. I mean even Ricey of all people wasn't bitching and he always does in BW.

Do you really not think that I wouldn't have fucking defended you if anyone said anything?

This wouldn't be you making a mistake. This wouldn't be considered "Outcastgate." It wouldn't have been a game changing fuck up. It would have been a fun little way to freak the players out for a few minutes before telling them it's a joke.

I honestly don't know what you people expected this to be? Like, did you think we'd actually let them go through with the whole pick'em, upload new avatars, let them PM for a while, and THEN reveal the joke? Because if so....lol @ that.

It would have lasted 15 minutes, tops.

Oh yeah, I forgot, our ability to moderate is suspended on Sundays. We do need to honor the sabbath, after all.

Saying someone is coming back is one thing. Letting them post, you open a can of worms for something that's supposed to be a joke. People in there know too many things that they could just spew out in an instant.

lol Yates, moderation or not, we don't have 100% control of what anyone posts. Whether we delete them or edit them or not, a player can still say anything before it can get moderated.

Are you trying purposefully to be unlikable?

I don't think you know what bitching is. There's a difference between freaking out and bitching. The players definitely would freak out when we announced it, and then they'd probably drop some "FUCK YOU!"s on us when we revealed that it was a joke, but it wouldn't have extended past that. People wouldn't still be talking about days and months later like when some of the other things.

Do you not understand what a prank is? Since when are pranks supposed to be fun for both parties? They aren't. One party gets pissed, the other laughs their ass off, and then a few days later, they both realize how funny it was in hindsight. I am honestly speechless about how much you guys overreacted.

That's why we wouldn't just pick any random asshole that would do that. ;) We'd pick someone we trust not to do that.

It's not really that hard...

I can say anything before it can get moderated too. What's to stop be me from going in public and posting things that I shouldn't because they shouldn't be public knowledge?

Oh, right. The fact that you trust me not to. That's what stopping me.

I get your point in being frustrated that the prank was cancelled, however you are really overreacting to just my and Mel's input. I don't get how even what we suggested is so awful. If you disagree with it, fine, but you can stop coming off so entitled and disgusted with everyone.

Why is there always drama where it doesn't need to be any? Why can't FOR ONCE people (EVERYBODY) just go along with my FINAL DECISION (no matter how many times I change my mind) why not just say "OK Blue says it's canceled, then it's canceled" and be done with it? Why must my co hosts always fight over meaningless bullshit. WE ARE WE FUCKING ARGUING OVER A PRANK that may or may not go wrong and being that *I'M* not the most respected host in the world, I back peddled on the prank idea. Why am I never getting support all across the board?

This is so frustrating.

I'm not really overreacting though. We had an idea for a prank that you two didn't like, so you changed that idea. Then you didn't like the new idea, so you just cancelled the prank. Even though the original prank wasn't even a bad idea.

I'm not going to respect a decision if I do not respect the process by which that decision was made (i.e. bullying and spineless backpedaling).

You really should only be telling this to one person :)

It seems everybody else can discuss decisions just fine without having to make it dramatic.

Marisa disagreed with the prank and was able to do it without rubbing others the wrong way.

Do not ever talk down to me again. I will not stand for that.

I'm done in this conversation. I will not let you speak to me like I'm a fucking child. I've been one of the last people to defend you here and on GTS. But if you're going to speak to me like I'm in fucking kindergarten then I'm done.

Then you can make your points with less disgust and entitlement.

You may not respect a decision, but you need to respect the people involved. I don't appreciate the way you came in here with such disgust for Mel and I.

I'm moving this to "SHIT THAT HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH THE GAME" section and then I'm out of here. You know, all this clusterfuck fighting was fun and hip and made Blue's World so unique but it ran it's fucking corse.

Along the way I started taking this hosting thing seriously and it's insulting how I barely have control of my own fucking game anymore. When *I* make a decision, it always leads to arguments. Seriously? Where is the respect? Where is the TRUST? Most importantly, the SUPPORT?

I'm just over the fucking bullshit. Good night.

Sorry I started all of this Blue. I think maybe this place would be better if I wasn't here. I'll check in tomorrow morning to send something to Hexa, but I think it's time for me to move on as a host in BW. If I'm ruining the experience for you Blue as a host then I don't want to ruin it for you. You are a great host and should have fun as a host and shouldn't have to deal with this I agree. I mean if I'm not the cancer then I'll stay, but I feel like I am.
