Please email all player house submissions to: brobbuilding@gmail.com Check house rules for information on how many rooms you can have, what can be within them and resource limitations. It should be in the format of the following: <Room Name> <Room Description>(Do not use 'you see' type phrases and please use spell check) <Any weapons/armor/magical devices/locked doors/hidden entrance info/etc> Any questions can be directed to a storyteller. |

I just checked, and I don't think we actually Have any housing rules. That said, when submitting for housing I'm going to want the following: 1) You must pick a somewhere in the City to live. Walk around and pick a place, copy the name of the room, and include that in your request. At the very least choose a district. 2) Include a handful of words that describe the atmosphere of your home. These will guide any revisions to your submitted rooms, the descriptions of any street rooms, and the overall tone conveyed through room names, layout, exit messaging, and so on. - - What's in a Room - - A finished room contains all of the following elements, each of which is required for all new building. You (the player requesting housing) are not expected to submit anything more than the messaging noted by Parcae, above. However, if you wish more control over your area, we encourage you to write (or attempt to write) these messages yourself. 1) Room name 2) description -2a) +views (detail elements too particular to include in the room desc) -2b) +places 3) Exit (and their Names) -3a) "Look" description of the exit -3b) 'Has arrived' message shown to the room (odrop) -3c) 'Has left' message shown to the room (osucc) -3d) 'You leave...' message shown to the person exiting. (succ) -3e) A failure message in the case of a locked exit. |
