Evening Troops, As some of you may know I am moving out of the "weekend warrior" planning roll and handing over scheduling and organization of our local games to anyone who wants to undertake it. Ricky has stepped up for now and looks to be getting things rolling. For me, the weekend games where people filter in between 9 and 11 and the disorganization, coupled with butting heads, and the occasional forgotten thought that we are just doing this for fun and don't need to get angry at times was starting to bother me. So I am stepping aside from this portion of CVAX and focusing more on what I always wanted, the MilSim side of things. My goal was to create a squad of dedicated driven, respectful individuals, that were efficient battle brothers on the field. I then wanted to take that success and duplicate it. Then triple it. Quad it. So that when our team shows up at Code Red, every can look and say, "oh f..k" "Its these guys" Here is what I will be doing... I will be researching and setting up training material based on the Army Infantry Field Manual. The initial squad will be for the most part be hand selected so that I know I have people that can reliably show up to training and are interested in this type of Airsoft Classes will be assigned based on an individuals equipment. There are specific roles to be filled. Not everyone can be a sniper for example. Team training will be one of the main focuses. We will get together not to run around and shoot like crazy, but to act as a coherent unit. I'm not going to yell at people, im not going to tell people to do pushups (this isn't green mountain ranger school) but I do have a vision and a theory and guide that is being followed, and I don't expect a constant barrage of "hey lets it like this or try it like this". Its done one way, every time for a reason. We need repetition. We need muscle memory. We need to let our actions be second nature. Too many chiefs in one tribe doesn't work. Members must have 1 primary (Matched to role), 1 pistol, NO-HICAPS. At this point in time I am not concerned with matching uniforms. BY working as a consistent team, and maintaining squad coherency, there will be no problem recognizing your brothers on the field. Once squad one is up and running smoothly, then we will open squad two. Squad two will have the same basic training, then once they are up to speed both squads will train together and then learn how to communicate effectively between sides on the field. This is just a snippet of some really awesome things to come. Expect callsigns. Name tapes. Special deliveries in your mailbox. A whole new world of Airsoft is at our fingertips. In the next coming days I will reach out to those I would like on the initial group. Once I do I will await for your reply. No hard feelings if you wish to pass, but I am definitely looking for people that want to go to the next level. Initial team insignias already drafted... We will be known as CVAX 1st QRF the Coyotes "you are surrounded" Goodall, Out |

Just a little switch up for those wanting something a little different, no change to what we've already built and established
