![]() HOUSE SHOW LIVE FROM THE KAISER PERMANENTE ARENA –SANTA CRUZ, CALIFORNIA TUESDAY MAY 23, 2017 SAMANTHA TOLSON & LIZZIE JONES vs. KENNY SEX & FINCH MARUTA From the offset Tolson and Jones took the upper hand, as both girls seemed intent to outdo one another ahead of their match next week. They looked a class above their male counterparts until Jones let things slip when going for one too many suplexes on Kenny Sex. The US Champ reversed and there was no way back for the women then as he sealed the win with the Sexiest Elbow Ever. DANIEL CORVIN vs. BROKEN MCLAUGHLIN This match never really got underway. Corvin tried some underhand tactics early on which McLaughlin didn't take kindly to, and the two men brawled onto the outside of the ring. A double count out was made but neither of them seemed to notice as they beat eachother senseless with their title belts and various foreign objects. Eventually they were separated by officials and went their opposite ways, both seemingly having enjoyed the whole experience. AZUL 34 vs. WULF ERIKSON After a crazy few weeks Wulf Erikson was pumped up for this one, and took control of the match early on. But his hubris was his epidermis in the end as he tried too hard to appease the crowd and the impressive Azul34 capitalised before sealing the win with the Blue Orchid (Vertical Suplex into piledriver). BIANCA DAVIS vs. LEXXI D.VINE These two once teamed against a pair of common enemies but the resulting defeat left them on very bad terms. After contrasting matches at United We Stand they locked up to settle their score. Bianca had a point to prove though and was hellbent on sending a message to the sitting Women's Champion. It was a good performance from The Malibu Queen but Lexxi refused to go down fairly and eventually nailed her opponent with the title belt to give Bianca the win by disqualification. RACHEL REDDING vs. DUFF BRIGGS Duff Briggs was overjoyed to finally enter the ring here in HPW, and the fans were equally delighted to have her. But her enthusiasm didn't last too long when she was quickly grounded by the resolute Rachel Redding. Duff had a few impressive spots throughout the match but Redding was intent on showing the rest of HPW what she could do, and sealed the win with her trademark knee strike. ERYN TYME vs. JESS ANDERSON There was no animosity between these pair as they shook hands before the match. But it was another night of disappointment for Eryn after she spent a little too long flaunting herself after one of her trademark moves, leaving Jess to capitalise with a Headlock Driver for victory. After the match Eryn looked downbeat but the fans started chanting her name and she was back on her feet strutting her stuff much to their delight. DAKOTA & MONTANA SHANE vs. ERIC DONOVAN & LYRA LEVEUX-DONOVAN Individually the Shane Sisters offered flashes of brilliance bet there was little cohesion between the warring siblings as the Donovan's took full advantage of their stubborn opponents. Once they were in control of the match they never lost it, making regular tags to keep themselves fresh. Eric hit a big Dragon Fang (Superkick) to Montana and Lyra finished her off with the Soul of Vengeance (Devil Lock DDT). |
