Pyrotechnics pop off from the stage as the cameras pan around the Hammerstein Ballroom, revealing a raucous crowd for the show tonight. Finally we settle in on the commentary team at ringside as they begin to discuss the night that lies ahead. RON COOLEY: “Ladies and gentlemen, welcome to Night One of Weekend of Trios! My name is Ron Cooley and I am joined by partner Calvin Lense to call the action this weekend on behalf of the hometown promotion Vortex Wrestling. Calvin, how are you feeling tonight? But I think I already know…” CALVIN LENSE: “You can feel the energy in this place, and I am amped! The Hammerstein Ballroom is sold out, and by the looks of it there are plenty of Vortex fans in attendance ready to see some of their favorites take home the CWC Trios Championships.” RON COOLEY: “Stars from Vortex and from around the Championship Wrestling Coalition have gathered here tonight for this momentous occasion, but I have to ask, who do you think takes home the prize tonight?” CALVIN LENSE: “Well its clear I will be rooting for the Vortex faithful. Wrestling Innit and Blaise Fader look like a formidable team, as well as The Monarchs of Wrestling with No Relation on their side. But the smart money is on Sugoku Gear. The Gear Society, who hold the Vortex Tag Team Championships, as well as the CWC World Tag Team Championships, are tough enough on their own. But with Aokigahara Zombie on their team, I think they are the favorites to take this thing home.” RON COOLEY: “I suppose we will find out which teams reigns supreme soon enough, but first, we need to turn it over to the man running the show tonight – please welcome the General Manager from Slaugherhouse Wrestling… The Psycho Kid!” The camera cuts to the ring, where TPK stands ready with a microphone in hand. Chants of “TPK! TPK! TPK! echo through the arena as he cracks a small smile before beginning to speak. TPK: “Alright, alright… everyone settle down. I appreciate the love, but in Slaughterhouse we like to keep the talking to a minimum, and I want to keep it that way.” Everyone in the Hammerstein Ballroom is on their feet and ready to go, but TPK is feeling the moment and decides to milk it for just a moment longer. TPK: “But I’ll be damned if it isn’t great to be standing right here in the historic Hammerstein Ballroom.” The crowd pops as TPK shifts on his feet. He waits for the cheers to die down before continuing. TPK: “I figured you all would like that. For those of you who don’t know me, I am The Psycho Kid. I run the madhouse that is Slaughterhouse Wrestling, and, for the next two nights, I will be the GM on site making sure that this tournament goes off without a hitch.” He raises an eyebrow with a smirk as he looks into the camera. TPK: “But… what’s the fun in a tournament that runs smoothly, right?” Another big pop. This time TPK steps in early and waves his hands, telling the fans to cool down so he can go into more detail. TPK: “Yeah, yeah – there are some ground rules, however. This is a sixteen team single elimination tournament. You lose when a member of your team is pinned or submitted. We will work our way down to the final four teams, and the two victorious teams will fight in the finals for the right to be called the CWC Trios Champions. But there will be a bronze match that takes place before the final round. That all sounds simple enough, right?” TPK holds up one finger. TPK: “Well, there is one catch. If I’m in charge, I want these matches to decisive… I want these matches to be…” The crowd knows him and knows what he is going to say. They pop once again for the impending announcement. TPK: “… Contested under no disqualification rules.” TPK continues to speak over the cheers. TPK: “No one is going to be able to advance in this tournament without pushing themselves to the limit and soaking up some serious pain when they get clocked with a steel chair, or a kendo stick, or get tossed through a table. That’s why we are doing it this way.” He shifts, gesturing to the ramp. TPK: “Now, before I head to the back to put my feet up and enjoy the show, there is one matter that I need to address…” “Insanity Syndrome” by The Enigma TNG begins to play through the speakers, and the audience immediately knows what is coming. TPK rolls his eyes and turns away as Ashe Corvin makes his way down the ramp with Daniel Corvin, Sean Curley, and Journeyman Phillips in tow. Ashe Corvin stops midway down the ramp and begins to speak as his music fades out. ASHE CORVIN: “TPK… I don’t know how or why someone such as yourself would be chosen to run this tournament. There are plenty of other, BETTER General Managers who…” TPK holds out a hand and cuts Corvin off. TPK: “Save it, Corvin. As strange as it sounds, you are just the man I wanted to see. And I’m happy that my Slaughterhouse Champion is along for the ride. Hello, Journeyman. You look as cowardly as ever. Do you have anything to say about my no disqualification ruling?” Journeyman grits his teeth as Ashe shoots back. ASHE CORVIN: “We don’t care about the rules. The Horsemen will be victorious no matter what way you decide to bastardize this tournament. But as you know, Tricia Reinhardt has been released from her contract with Force, and now we are one partner short of a trio…” TPK chuckles while stroking his chin, much to the chagrin of The Horsemen. TPK: “Right. One of the few times I think the whole world genuinely felt sorry for Miss Alexis Terry. But yes, Ashe, I know that Reinhardt is no longer employed, and is thus ineligible to compete in this tournament. Maybe another GM would bend over backwards trying to fix it, but I don’t see it as my problem.” Daniel Corvin, the HPW Champion, took the microphone from his father and screamed back at TPK from the ramp. DANIEL CORVIN: “There is no problem, because I am going to step in! Other CWC Champions may be afraid to throw their names into this, but me? I’m more than willing to become a double champion in this place. So make it official, TPK. Announce that I, Daniel Corvin, the Prince of Darkness, the HPW Champion, will be competing in this Trios Tournament with Journeyman Phillips and Sean Curley by my side. DO IT!” Daniel is fuming as TPK picks up the mic to respond. TPK: “You want it, Danny? You got it. No skin off my back.” TPK shrugs as The Horsemen look at each other, surprised by the decision. The theme song for Weekend of Trios begins to play once again as we hear the announce team speaking over the wrestlers clearing the area. RON COOLEY: “That was a bit strange, don’t you think? Almost like The Horsemen expected some kind of backlash from TPK about Daniel Corvin being in the match.” CALVIN LENSE: “I think it speaks to the way TPK carries himself. He’s all about getting to the action, so I’m not really surprised. But the inclusion of Daniel Corvin may actually make the team stronger.” RON COOLEY: “No kidding. Journeyman Phillips and Daniel Corvin both hold the top championships in their companies, and here in a few days Sean Curley may earn a shot at the GCW Championship in his own right.” CALVIN LENSE: “In other words, everyone on that team is a top guy. The Horsemen have shown that they are dedicated to taking home every belt they can get their hands on, and they may well do it tomorrow night.” RON COOLEY: “Now that this is settled, lets take it to the ring for the opening match of the CWC Trios Championship Tournament. Josh Kennedy, Wulf Erikson, and Finch Maruta take on Blaise Fader, Bryan Williams, and Terry McKenna. This one should be great.” CALVIN LENSE: “A bunch of big names in this one for sure, and there are a lot of different styles working together in this match. Let’s get it started!” The camera fades down to the ring as the match is ready to get underway.
The camera cuts backstage, where Sativa Nevaeh and Lauryn Wolfe are hanging out backstage, discussing their opponents, the Monarchs of Wrestling - and particularly Anastasia Hayden, since they know her from 4CW. They wonder why their partner, CWC Jr. Heavyweight Champion Mariano Fernandez, hasn't still been seen anywhere yet. Lauryn in particular seems to be displeased since he had promised to bring empanadas, a dish from his homeland. Their doubts are dissipated, however, as they hear Mariano's voice calling "Hey yo, get over here, chicas!" from outside the arena. Making their way over, they find Mariano sitting in a food truck, attending a deep fryer, where he's making some stuffed pastries. Taking one for each of his partners out, he tells them "Eat up, mang". Sativa and Lauryn exchange glances and a chuckle or two before they start eating. Once they're done, they head back to the arena to prepare for their match.
The cameras turned backstage and to Lizzie Jones. She reacted with nonchalance when met with a rather mixed reception. As the interviewer tried to ask her first question, Lizzie took the microphone - entirely ignoring the question. She began by saying she knew full well that the fans wanted her to explain her actions at the last Hollywood Pro show, which saw her attack her friend Samantha Tolson after the conclusion of the main event. She shook her head and simply said no. Her reasons, she explained, are her own and whilst there is a plan in motion, now is not the time to reveal it. She explained that she regretted that it had to be Sam...but that Sam would soon understand why it had to be her. And either way, ultimately that was then and tonight is now. She said her focus was on helping herself, Sam and Jess win in this, the trios tournament, and that was all there would be to it. She is, she said, a professional and she intended to act like one. With that she shoved the microphone back into the interviewer’s hand and walked away without any further word.
In the back, we see Lauryn Wolfe and Sativa Neveah making their way to the entrance area, chatting about the match they are about to participate in and cracking jokes about Mariano Fernandez. It seems simple enough, until Syd Yancey and Kennedy Black show up out of nowhere with steel chairs in hand. The two women plant the chairs on the back of Lauryn and Sativa, and they drop instantly. Syd continues to stomp away at Sativa while Kennedy puts Lauryn in a crossface. Finally Syd lets up and pulls Sativa up to her feet by the hair and screams “who owns who now?!” before tossing Sativa face first into some production crates. Kennedy picked up the chair and swung for the fences one last time on Lauryn before Mariano Fernandez, who was lagging behind his team, caught up to chase them off. We fade into a promotional video as Fernandez tends to his fallen partners.
In the back, we see the camera following Slaughterhouse roster member Josh Kennedy through a hallway when he stumbles across the three members of the Filth Parade who were victorious earlier in the night. Kennedy greets them with a hug, some handshakes, and a slap on the back. He congratulates them on his victory and is proud to see the Slaughterhouse brand making it to the quarterfinals. Johnny Vachon is the first one to step up and thank Kennedy for the show of support, and he vows that the Filth Parade will be returning to Slaughterhouse with the Trios belts around their waist. The camera cuts to the locker room where Cosmo Cooper and Leela Watts are having a conversation. Cosmo expresses his frustration, as he did at the last GCW show, that his rival Trevor Miller is in a position to take Leela’s championship. He also mentions that with Sole Survivor and the Stewart Beach Brawl bringing forward new challengers that Leela will have almost the entire roster swarming her. He says that he will protect her. She seems unconcerned, or at least hiding it long enough to calm Cosmo down. Dom DiBona enters the locker room and asks if he is interrupting something, to which both of them say no. Leela, speaking quietly, says she will meet everyone outside to get ready for their match coming up. As she leaves, she shoots a glance at Dom, and it seems like he understands. Dom asks Cosmo what is wrong and Cosmo tells him everything before asking where he should draw the line when it comes to protecting Leela. Dom says that friends should watch each other’s back, but that there is a difference between that and being overprotective. Cosmo hangs his head for a moment before Dom pats him on the shoulder and leads him out of the room. We cut to the ring.
CHAMPIONSHIP WRESTLING COALITION PRESENTS GATEWAY TO THE GRAPS 7/1/17 FROM THE SCOTTRADE CENTER IN ST. LOUIS, MISSOURI
Empire backstage interviewer Cassie Ocampo is walking around backstage, trying to catch an interview or exclusive with some of the collected CWC talents in attendance for this monster event. Off in the distance, she sees someone with their back to her, a hooded sweatshirt on, hood up, over their ring gear, throwing some shadow punches and kicks at an imagined opponent. She gathers her microphone and her cameraman, and slowly approaches. As she gets closer, she sees the word "TOLSON" printed in large white letters across the back of the black sweatshirt. She approaches cautiously, knowing that Samantha Tolson is prepping for her upcoming trios match this evening. CASSIE OCAMPO: “Excuse me? Samantha Tolson?” She turns towards the inquiring interviewer. SAMANTHA TOLSON: “Yes?” Tolson's face twists into a grimace. Clearly she's not enthused with the thought of a reporter asking questions at this particular moment. CASSIE OCAMPO: “Mind if I ask a few questions ahead of your match tonight?” Tolson takes down her hood, her auburn hair back in a ponytail. She nods, and Miss Ocampo continues. CASSIE OCAMPO: “We heard from one of your partners, Lizzie Jones, earlier in the night. Do you have any response to her?” Tolson sighs heavily, the thought of Liz's betrayal this past Tuesday night in HPW still weighing on her mind. She starts to speak, then stops herself, thinking for a moment before continuing. SAMANTHA TOLSON: “You know what? No. I don't have a response to Liz. The only thing I have to say to her would be at the end of either my fist or my foot right now, and my father always told me if you can't say something nice, say nothing. I choose say nothing.” CASSIE OCAMPO: “You've been very public about the fact that Lizzie was your best friend. How is your relationship with her right now?” SAMANTHA TOLSON: “Best friend? Yeah, she was. She got me together with Maggie, literally held me when my last girlfriend lied to me and shattered my heart. I was there for her Tuesday all day long, being there for her with her own issues, trying to get her mind off of things all day long. Hell, she even said on social media that we'd had a good day together, just two girls knocking around LA having fun. Then after she allowed me to pin Rachel Redding and win the Queen of Hollywood tournament, she stabbed me in the damn back like a coward. How is our relationship? You mean, with the girl that told me we shouldn't talk for a while when I wanted an explanation? The girl that told me not to take her betrayal of me personally? What goddamned relationship.” CASSIE OCAMPO: “It seems that there is certainly tension between you two. How will that affect your match? You two are teaming with Jessica Anderson in just a little while.” SAMANTHA TOLSON: “If I had an answer, I'd tell you. I don't have a crystal ball to give me the answer. All I know is that right now, my level of trust for just about anyone in this building right now is zero. I'm going to have to make sure that not only can I beat the three women across the ring, but also make sure my two teammates...and somehow I think that's a loose interpretation...don't leave me high and dry. What I will tell you is this...if I have to go out there alone, and face all three of them by myself, I still like my odds.” CASSIE OCAMPO: “You've also been vocal from time to time about your desire for a rematch with the CWC World Champion, Ashley Tierney. Yet there are rumors out there that you don't deserve it. Would you like to address that?” Samantha closes her eyes and draws in, then lets out, a very long, deep breath. SAMANTHA TOLSON: “Sure. Anyone out there who thinks I don't deserve another shot at that title clearly didn't watch how Tierney beat me. She had to resort to knocking me damn near out cold with a pair of brass knuckles to get the job done. Anyone out there who thinks that is either stupid, a Tierney fan, or thinks she's better than me in the ring. I took her bleach blonde ass to school when it was a fair fight. She knows it, I know it, and anyone watching that match knows it. One on one, on a level playing field, I will beat Ashley Tierney ten times out of ten. So do I think I deserve a rematch? Hell yes I do. I'll go on record as saying that the first defense of that ill-gotten title of hers should have been against me. But, I'm a patient woman. I know that the day is coming when she has to stand across the ring with me, a sad, scared little girl, a paper champion, knowing that the only way she can keep that belt from me will be to once again find a way to cheat to win. But she's played her hand now, and she's made clear the rules of engagement. When...not if, when...I get her in the ring again, I'll fight fire with fire, and I'll walk out of the flames the new CWC World Champion.” Samantha pulls her hood back over her head, her face a mask of anger, as she turns her back to Cassie and walks away, leaving the reporter looking a tad stunned.
”Team” by Iggy Azalea hits the PA system as the crowd pops, and then slowly returns to massive boos. Ashley Tierney, the CWC World Champion, makes her way onto the stage, looking down at Samantha Tolson. Her music fades and down and she cracks a smile as she lifts the microphone. ASHLEY TIERNEY: “Oh Sam… All those times I called you pathetic, I knew I was right... but losing in the first round of this Trios Tournament HAS to be a new low for you.” Tierney has to stop because she is laughing too hard. The crowd responds with more boos before the champion continues. ASHLEY TIERNEY: “And yet I still get my legions of fans tweeting me everything you say. Every time you whine and complain like a little baby that the rematch you’ve been begging for hasn’t been made… every time you blame the system, or me, for blocking you. But Sam, no one is standing in your way. You’re just a LOSER!” Tierney makes a big L with her fingers and holds them against her forehead. Tolson begins to stir. ASHLEY TIERNEY: “Oh, you’re sitting up? Can you hear me Sam, or is Dakota Shane just too much for you to handle?” Another big laugh by Tierney as Tolson manages to pull herself up using the ropes and leans against the bottom turnbuckle pad. Tierney takes a few steps closer to the ring. ASHLEY TIERNEY: “Look honey. If it were up to me, I’d be sitting at a pool right now sipping on a drink that’s worth more than you. But I got a call from Chris Callum, and he told me that at Gateway to the Graps on July 1st, you and I will get our rematch. So congratulations, Sam, you cried and cried and eventually everyone got sick of listening to it. So here you are, about three weeks away from being EMBARASSED yet again in MY ring, just like that stupid Reverend is going to be embarrassed when I get my hands on him at Category 5 Monday night.” “Rev! Rev! Rev!” chants pick up, but Tierney quickly presses on. ASHLEY TIERNEY: “You are OBSESSED with me, Tolson. Blah blah blah… Ashley cheated! Well guess what, the match at Gateway to the Graps is going to be a lumberjack match. Rosters from Red State Revolver, Force, and King’s Road will be other there to make sure everyone is on their best behavior. And it won’t be biased, Sam, because all of them want a piece of me. If anything, YOU have the advantage…” A smile comes across Tolson’s face, but Tierney continues to speak. ASHLEY TIERNEY: “But that’s okay. Like I said at United We Stand, I am better than you. I can outwrestle you. I can outsmart you. And, ultimately, I’ll beat you. This CWC World Championship isn’t going anywhere.” Ashley holds the belt up high with one hand and the microphone with the other. ASHLEY TIERNEY: “ALL. HAIL. ME.” She drops the mic, blows a kiss to Tolson, and then holds the belt up while her music plays. The camera cuts back and forth to Tolson who is still reeling from the attack, but clearly pleased at the announcement. Finally the voices of the commentary crew begin over the images. RON COOLEY: “A lumberjack match for the CWC World Championship? My God, what a match!” CALVIN LENSE: “This is all IF Ashley Tierney can win her defense at Category 5… but I’m hoping she does now. Tolson has been itching to get a second chance at the belt, and now she gets it with a stipulation that is truly in her favor.” RON COOLEY: “I don’t know… between Tierney and the rest of the crooks in GCW… I’m sure there is some kind of plan. Tolson could be walking into a trap. Wait, now she’s also under Callum’s authority, right? He is running Hollywood Pro now too. You see what I mean?” CALVIN LENSE: “It doesn’t pass the smell test, I’ll give you that. But Red State Revolver, King’s Road, and Force wrestlers will be at ringside, not wrestlers from any of the other territories. There is no way they let Tierney get away with a brass knuckles shot like she did at United We Stand.” RON COOLEY: “I guess we will find out what happens over the next few weeks. But first, it’s important to let everyone know that the next few days will be HUGE for three CWC promotions.” CALVIN LENSE: “That’s right Ron. Monday night Gulf Coast Wrestling will be holding their super show Category 5, featuring a title defense by Ashley Tierney and a Sole Survivor match for the GCW Championship.” RON COOLEY: “The very next night Hollywood Pro Wrestling will be hosting The Reboot, where Daniel Corvin defends his HPW Championship against two former HPW champions, and Kenny Sex puts the CWC United States Championship on the line against Finch Maruta.” CALVIN LENSE: “And finally, rounding out the week, our very own Vortex Wrestling is putting on JADE EMPIRE! We finally see Britain Jade defend her Grand Championship against Lil’ Boeing, and I cannot wait.” RON COOLEY: “The week after that Red State Revolver and Force Pro will also be holding supershows. There is so much happening right now in the Championship Wrestling Coalition. Let’s show you how you can get tickets to these supeshows, Gateway to the Graps, and so much more.” We fade into a promotional package for the upcoming major events in the CWC.

Filth Parade Match Our third match of the evening is Filth Parade versues Sugoku Gear, teams that feature mostly Slaughterhouse talent though Gear Society are repping Vortex Wrestling. Edison, from Gear Society and team Sugoku, starts for her team. Johnny Vachon steps in for his team. The pace is fast and furious as the two exchange crisp wrestling moves. Edison shows why she is such a force in tag team wrestling as her and her partner, Gear Gamma, exchange quick tags in and out as they try their best to double team Vachon. Finally, he turns the side with a big step up enziguri. Moments later, as both are down, he is able to crawl and make the tag to John Harris. Edison tags in Zombie. The battle ensues as they exchange right hands. Harris is able to take control with a big spinebuster but chaos breaks out and all six competitors are in the ring together. Move after move connects until a portion of the teams spill to the floor. Vachon hits a beautiful springboard senton to the floor. Gamma has Edison pressed and tosses her out crashing onto their opponents. Back in the ring, Zombie hits a big back body drop on Poe and then takes out Harris with a big clothesline. He locks in a single leg crab and the referee asks if they want to give up but Harris refuses. Poe is in to make the save. The Gear Society are back in. Poe and Vachon fight with the team and connect with the double dropkick that send them to the outside. The crowd raises to their feet realizing what is about to happen. Big dives from Eddy and Vachon. They crash into their opponents and the barricade around ring. Harris regains control and delivers a big snap suplex to Zombie. He tries for the pin but to no avail. Harris signals for The Dirty Bomb but Zombie knees out of it. He tries for the tag but his partners are out on the outside. Harris stumbles into his corner and Poe is there for the tag. Superkick from Vachon connects. Zombie stumbles into a big rolling elbow from Harris. Poe climbs up and comes down across the back of the head of Zombie with a double foot stomp. He covers and The Filth Parade win their opening round match! |

8. Kings of the Road def. Love Graps The match starts with the Kings of the Road playing rock, paper, scissors to determine who will start the match out. Their opponents look on, as they also get the same idea. Hubert makes a grand show of winning the decision, as he faces off with Back Alley Steve. The beginning of the match is a back and forth affair, with the King's Road Pro Openweight champion eventually getting the better of Steve. Steve continues to fight though, making a tag to Claude. It's the Openweight champ versuses the Pure champ, as the crowd begins to get hype. The two go back and forth, trading move for move for a good while. Neither man looks to gain an inch, but Sullivan is able to tag himself in the exchange. The crowd doesn't appreciate seeing that exchange cut short, but Sullivan doesn't care. He wastes no time in beating up Hubert Smalls, eventually Sullivan tosses Hubert back into his corner, allowing him to tag out. Nikolas Thoreau is next, and he does not back down. He takes it right to Sullivan, with a series of kicks and speciality holds that he wasn't expecting. Sullivan is able to catch a break, with a thumb to the eyes of Nikolas. This prompts Kayla Wright to enter the ring, as she leads an attack on Sullivan. Kayla is all over him for a good exchange, knocking him down with a running forearm smash. Hubert quickly comes in to back her up, the two double teaming Sullivan with a combination discus elbow to death valley driver! Steve and Claude take exception to this, as they enter the ring. It's two on two for a short while, as Nikolas Thoreau finally is able to get back into the match. Hubert and Nikolas take out Claude with a series of european uppercuts, leaving Steve as the last man standing. Steve promptly tosses Kayla out of the ring, leaving himself a fight with Hubert and Nikolas. The pair seem to get the better of Steve for a while, but Sullivan is able to grab Hubert and pull him to the outside. With the distraction they needed, Steve is able to take Nikolas down with a Buzzsaw Kick and a Curb Stomp! Sullivan quickly enters the ring to cover his man, as Steve and Claude protect the pin for the victory! 6. Cute Corny & Cosmo def. Fire Team Gold Cute Corny & Cosmo were anything but Cute and Corny, as they took Fire Team Gold by surprise in the opening bout of this match. Dom and Leela took charge, taking out Nick Danger and Hannah Hazley with stereo dives to the outside. This left Cosmo Cooper alone with Eric Donovan, Cosmo had almost no trouble with Eric at first. It was all Cosmo in the opening part of the contest, as he tossed around Eric in the ring. A Fisherman Buster almost won them the match early, but Nick Danger was quickly in to make the save. Eric was eventually able to tag out to Danger, allowing Cosmo to tag out to Leela. The two battled in the ring, with Nick using his size against Leela. It was a good while before Leela was able to mount some offense, sending Nick Danger into her corner. With a tag to Dom, the group worked over Nick Danger. A combination Double Stomp into a Backbreaker almost sealed the deal again, but Nick Danger was able to kick out. Dom worked over Danger with a series of holds, but eventually Danger fought back. He mounted a comeback, putting Dom in a bad way. Danger tagged out, as Eric Donovan and Hannah Hazley took turns working over Dom DiBona. The combination of the two seemed to keep Dom away from his group, as the trio put him down with a Double Superplex from the top rope! Dom hung in there though, fighting back whenever the opportunity struck. Eventually Dom was able to reverse a pinning attempt from Nick Danger, tagging out to Cosmo Cooper! Cosmo ran through the other team, as Leela began to help. With Dom recovering, it was up to the two Gulf Coast champions to champion their team. They worked together, using double team moves to put their opponents away. Finally, with Nick Danger all alone, Leela was able to connect with a Leela Bomb. This allowed Cosmo to follow up with a Crater Maker, as Dom and Leela blocked any attempts to break up the pin! 2. Team TBD def. Duff Briggs Team TBD were expecting a fight, but didn't expect every single Duff Briggs to show up. The Duffs surrounded the ring, causing some confusion for Jennifer Chase and Bryan Laughlin. This didn't seem to deter Tiger Mask Red, who took the opportunity to tope to the outside, taking down several Duffs in the process! Jennifer and Bryan shrugged, following suit as they took down the remaining Duffs! It was a fast paced beginning, the match almost turning into a frenzied state. Eventually Duff Briggs from King's Road, Force Pro, and Vortex Wrestling settled into the match, allowing the others to leave. Jennifer Chase would soon square off with the smaller Duff from King's Road. The two used their speed to move around the ring, neither one getting an advantage over the other. Jennifer Chase transitioned into a headscissors takedown, but Duff was able to cartwheel out of the move! Soon enough though Jennifer was able to take the Duff down, tagging in Bryan Laughlin to work him over. Duff Briggs found himself in trouble for a while, as Bryan used his experience to keep him pinned. He worked him all over, ensuring that the Duff would be too hurt to help his team. Eventually the smaller Duff was able to break away, tagging into the Force Pro Duff Briggs. This Duff matched well against Bryan Laughlin, even getting the better of him at times. Eventually Bryan was able to break away, tagging into Tiger Mask Red. Tiger Mask had no problem with this Duff, out-wrestling him. Tiger Mask asked for the Vortex Duff to step into the ring, getting a big reaction from the fans. Vortex Duff finally gave Tiger Mask the opponent he was looking for, but maybe too much of it. Vortex Duff eventually overpowered Tiger Mask, keeping him away from his team. Things started to look sour for Team TBD, as the Duffs began to run away with the match. Tags would be made, but the Duffs held their own for a reasonable time. They would counter any offense that Team TBD would put together, eventually tossing Jennifer Chase to the outside onto her teammates! With Jennifer in a bad spot, Force Pro Duff brought her back into the ring. He attempted to finish her off, but Jennifer was able to counter this. She turned the tides, connecting with Divine Instruments! This gave her the window to seek out her partners, who worked together to bring the Duffs down. Bryan Laughlin was tagged in, as Tiger Mask Red focused on the smaller Duff. With two Duffs distracted, it was up to the Hollywood Pro Television champion. He used a series of misdirection, causing Vortex Duff to walk into his series of superkicks he calls "SuperKEKS". This allowed him to connect with the "Good Morning America", as Jennifer and Tiger Mask prevented the pin from being broken up! |

Nurvy/Those Damn Mexicans vs. Horsemen As the bell sounds, Nurvy and Journeyman Phillips, the two old timers get the match started. They put on a exhibition chain wrestling with Nurvy. Nurvy, a bit beefier is quick to get the upper hand on Journeyman as he sends him down with a shoulder block. Nurvy picks Journeyman and pushes him into the Damn Mexicans corner and works on him for a bit with body blows. The referee tries to pull Nurvy off at the four count as the Damn Mexicans grab either of Journeyman’s arms and Nurvy hits a body splash in the corner and tags in Esteban. Esteban fakes as if he was going to whip Journeyman into the other corner but then pushes him back into the corner. Journeyman hits an elbow on Diego and then leg sweeps Nurvy. As Esteban comes running in, Journeyman drop toe holds him and points to his head as he tags in Curley. Curley faces off with Esteban, Esteban shakes his head and points to Diego and makes the tag to him. Curley is able to keep Diego down long enough, he goes to the top rope for the “Shipping up to Boston” but nobody is home! They both crawl to the opposite ropes as Daniel Corvin is wanting into the match badly. He gets the tag and Diego makes the tag back to Nurvy. Both Corvin and Nurvy meet in the middle of the ring and exchange blows. Corvin ducks an attack from Nurvy and turns around to see the damn Mexicans entering the rain. Corvin motions for them to bring it but Curley and Journeyman are back into the ring. They rush the Mexicans and all four men go toppling out of the ring. Corvin turns around to see Nurvy rush him just in time and Corvin ducks low and sends Nirvana over the top rope. All five of the men on the outside try and get to their feet as Corvin looks around to the crowd with a smirk on his face. He hits the ropes and takes off seemingly right in the middle of the ring with a tope con hilo! He lands on top of the pile of people and lands on his feet like a cat. He grabs Nurvy and tosses him into the ring and slides in after him. The crowd is mixed, the boo Corvin but are impressed with the effort. Corvin points at a staggered Nurvy and and cuts his throat. He hooks Nirvana and hits him with The Glorifier! (Spinning lifting sitout double underhook facebuster) Curley and Journeyman hold off Those Damn Mexicans on the outside as Curley hits a curb stop and Journeyman tosses Esteban over the barricade. Inside the ring, Corvin makes the pin to a chorus of boos as he hooks both of Nurvy’s legs for the three count! As the bell sounds, The Horseman reunite outside of the ring at the end of the ramp as they raise one another hands in victory as they walk backwards. Nirvana slowly gets to his feet holding the back of his neck as he looks around to the crowd giving him a standing ovation. The Horsemen disappear as the crowd begins chanting for Nurvy. Sadly he raises one fist in the air and points around to the crowd and then places his hand on his heart and points around to the crowd before getting down and kissing the center of the ring and then exiting it. Those Damn Mexicans wait on him as the trio make their way out together to a rounding applause from the crowd. |

Sexy Versus Team Hollywood The bell sounds and the match begins with Team Sexy consisting off Dakota Shane, Isla Carter, and Eryn Tyme figuring out who will begin. Isla accepts the challenge and steps up. On the other side of the ring, we are witness to a much “colder” team atmosphere. Sam Tolson and Lizzie Jones begin to bicker in the corner about Lizzie’s actions on the last Hollywood Pro show when Lizzie turned her back on Sam and attacked her. Jess Anderson, trying to keep the peace, steps up for her team. Isla and Jess lock up and Jess is able to lock in a beautiful side headlock. Isla tosses her towards the ropes, leap frogs, and then drops Jess with a dropkick. Isla hits a big snap suplex and covers but only gets a one. Jess quickly tags out and in comes a reluctant Sam but her focus is more towards her Lizzie as even though Sam is the legal wrestler for her team she continues to argue with Lizzie. This gives Isla the chance to tag in Dakota Shane who clobbers Sam in the back of the head. Dakota keeps up the attack with some stomps and kicks. She drops Sam with a big back breaker and goes for the pin but Sam kicks out. Sam delivers a stiff shot with a big forearm and is able to even the score with a neckbreaker. She covers but Eryn Tyme is in to break the pin. Lizzie comes in and attacks Eryn, sending her to the outside but Sam and Lizzie continue to bicker. Lizzie heads back to her corner and as soon as Sam is close enough she tags herself in much to the dismay of her teammate. Eryn tags in and Lizzie and Eryn square off trading move for move. Lizzie connects with a beautiful inverted DDT and tries for the pin but Eryn kicks out. Jess tags in now and its Lizzie and Sam on the apron, continuing to trade words over what happened. Finally, Jess has had enough and she tries to break it up. She turns and gets hit with a Celtic Driver! Team Sexy, because of Sam and Lizzie’s arguing, picks up the victory! Team Sexy celebrates in the ring as Montana Shane joins them. Tired of hearing the bickering, The Shane sisters attack. Lizzie is able to escape up the ramp but Anderson and Tolson eat double DDTs! Team Sexy leaves victorious. Anderson holds her head as she makes her way up the ramp leaving Sam alone in the ring. |
