HPW 10: THE CAMEO

LIVE FROM THE HOLLYWOOD PALLADIUM – LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA
TUESDAY JUNE 20TH, 2017

We begin with a cold open. Chris Callum is waiting outside the arena when he is approached by Leon Cashmere. Leon asks if Tierney is here yet, to which Callum says no. Leon says it’s like her to be fashionably late, but then he takes a more serious tone with Callum. He says that Sativa is a Revolver girl, and whatever bullshit Callum has planned for the tag team match later tonight better not involve her being put in harms way. Callum asks Leon if Sativa can handle herself, and, if so, why he’s here protecting here. Leon leans forward and tells Callum, “I’m trying to protect you.” We fade into the opening video package, and then down to the ring.

Dakota Shane vs. Montana Shane

With both of the Shane Sisters in the ring and the rest of the Shane family in the back, it was time to once and for all settle this sibling dispute so that the HPW Tag Team Champions can start acting like tag team champions. Dakota starts the match off by charging her sister and tackling her by the legs. The brawler proceeds to lay in some hard closed fist punches, but Montana rolls her over and begins to land some of her own. The referee tries to separate the two but both have a hard lock on clothes and hair and it doesn’t look good. Dakota rolls under the bottom rope with Montana’s hair still firmly in her grasp, and then slams her face first into the apron. Dakota climbs onto the apron and drops a leg over her hanging sister, sending her toppling out of the ring. She waits for Montana to get to her feet and then clubs her with a double axehandle. The crowd goes nuts as Dakota tosses Montana back into the ring. 1…2…KICKOUT. Dakota is frustrated, but not surprised, that her sister managed to kick of out.

Dakota went to lock in the Red Light District, but Montana knew what was coming and got the bottom rope just in time. The referee pulled Dakota back, and while her sister was distracted Montana kicked her sister right in the shin, waited for her to fall, and then slapped her across the face. The pop echoed through the arena, and a lot of people thought Dakota was out cold. Montana went for the cover. 1…2…KICKOUT. The technician went ahead and stomped Dakota’s back before locking in a signature sharpshooter. Dakota screamed in pain and pulled herself to the ropes, but Montana got her back in the ring. Dakota pushed herself up and then rolled through the sharpshooter for a modified pinning attempt. 1…2…KICKOUT. Both of the Shane Sisters made it to their feet, on opposite sides of the ring, and had a staredown.

WHAM! WHAM! An attack from both sides of the ring, and Dakota and Montana went down after the chairshots. It’s Matt Bellamy and Trevor Buckley – a tag team from GCW! They high five each other before putting the two women on the ground in different corners. They climb to the top rope. Buckley hits a shooting star press on Dakota while Bellamy hits a 450 splash on Montana! The two young athletes look at their handiwork as the referee waves off the match. Buckley gets a microphone and says that their team is coming to HPW to get their hands on the titles, and there is nothing the champs can do to stop them.

Before they can get too deep into their celebration, we see Carolina Shane, the matriarch, making her way down to the ring with a security detail charging forward. Buckley and Bellamy hightail out of the ring as Carolina climbs in to check on her daughters.

NO CONTEST

Backstage, preparing for their match versus Azul and Vertigo later in the evening, Eric and Lyra Donavan are in very different states of mind. The former, stoically calm, is wrapping black athletic tape round and round his left wrist, his right already adorned. Every other turn sees him flexing that hand, staring at it almost coldly. Lyra is only visible half the time, pacing back and forth in front of Eric, going in and out of sight. Already in her ring gear and obviously loaded with anticipatory adrenaline, she never stops moving for a moment. After he finishes, Eric rips the tape with his teeth and tosses the roll back into the open bag next to him on the sofa. Staring quietly at his hands, he finally speaks up.

ERIC DONAVAN:
“Seriously, Lyra. Calm down.”

Stopping, but not looking at her husband, Lyra's shoulders rise and fall in a silent sigh.

LYRA LEVEUX DONAVAN:
“Calm? There should be gold around our waist right now, Eric, and you know this. That those two gibbering hookers laid touch on me in a too-familiar way and snatched the tag titles from our grasp...”

The anger wells up again until Lyra whirls on Eric, who watches her impassively, her limits being passed at the mere memory.

LYRA LEVEUX DONAVAN:
“...how are you not furious about this?!”

ERIC DONAVAN:
“Because anger isn't going to get either of us anywhere. It didn't when Wulf furthred his beef with Corvin on my time, costing me a win, and it won't now. I've been down that road too many times.”

He stands, cracking his neck and walking over to a still-seething Priestess of Pain, putting his hands on her shoulders.

ERIC DONAVAN:
“Yeah, the Shane Sisters beat us. How? By kissing you and climbing a ladder faster than we did? A win's a win, something no one can deny, but let's compare theirs to ours: they beat us in the aforementioned manner... and in our tag match a few weeks prior? We beat them down and pinned them one-two-three. YOU pinned them one-two-three. Tell me which is more impressive?”

LYRA LEVEUX DONAVAN:
“The ladder match where they won the championships!”

ERIC DONAVAN:
“Fair point. A match where they didn't have to pin us or make us tap, a match designed to give competitors a shot even when, physically and mentally speaking, they're at a disadvantage. I ask you again: which win is more impressive?”

She does not answer, but it appears that she accepts Eric's point. The anger is still there, but... reined in. Just a little.

ERIC DONAVAN:
“We own a win over the current champions. Tonight, we have an opportunity to earn a chance to take the gold from them. That's where our focus needs to be. We know we can beat them, because we have. Given the chance, we'll do it again. Azul and Vertigo... they're sadly mistaken if they're coming into this not expecting a fight. It's what we do. But I understand your concern, sweetheart. Where that's concerned, realize that we've only begun fighting as a team. Love and trust is one thing. In-ring chemistry is another. We're a work in progress but that progress is coming along at a rapid pace. Tonight is another step forward.”

LYRA LEVEUX DONAVAN:
“And what if we lose tonight?”

Playing the devil's advocate, she was. Eric grinned.

ERIC DONAVAN:
“Well, I suppose that depends on how, doesn't it? If these guys beat us clean, we obviously have more work to do. If they pull some trick out of their ass and get the duke that way... I'm not sorry to say that we'll be hunting them down with blunt objects at our earliest convenience to ensure they don't take that road again with the Dragon Clan. Cut and dry, baby.”

LYRA LEVEUX DONAVAN:
“See... that? That I can get behind.”

ERIC DONAVAN:
“Good. Now...”

Turning to gather his ring jacket from over the back of the couch, tossing Lyra's to her as well, he dons it and flips his hair back, getting that fiery, focused look in his black eyes.

LYRA LEVEUX DONAVAN:
“...let's go see a couple guys about a title match, hm?”

Donning her own jacket and linking her arm with his, finally wearing that sweetly sinister smile of hers again, Lyra leaves the locker room with Eric, heading down the hall.

Rachel Redding vs. The Robot

The next match of the night featured Rachel Redding going one on one with The Robot, one of Bryan Laughlin’s monsters. Laughlin himself stood for the entire match at the top of the ramp with a smile on his face. The match begins with the Robot moving slowly to the center of the ring while Redding watched him from her corner. She was clearly annoyed that she even had to step into the ring with this thing, so she jolted forward and knocked him down with a big right hand. The Robot fell to the ground and started ‘glitching out’ while Redding turned to the ramp and said some less than savory things to Laughlin. Redding pulled The Robot up and sent him back down to the ground with a snap DDT. Clearly these monsters were less powerful when they didn’t have numbers on their side. Redding pulled it up once again and set it down with the “Category One”, a Rebound Knee Strike. She made the cover and defeated The Robot in less than a minute, earning herself a spot in the cage match next week for the Television Championship. Laughlin, however, didn’t seem worried.

WINNER: RACHEL REDDING

In the backstage area, Sarah Sharp caught up with Lizzie Jones. Lizzie explained that her actions last week, in relation to the women's title match, were her own. She went on to say that she believes the woman's division to be a joke and is not sad it will be dissolved soon.

But, as she pointed out, she did not know about that during last week's show. And whilst it may have been a joke, that joke was made even less funny by having someone like Eryn or Lexxi holding the title and spearheading the women. She went on to say that she regretted nothing about what she did, and did it for what she believes are the right reasons. And if she has to face a 2v1 handicap as punishment then she would take that on the chin, weather the storm, and move on.

She said she knew that the match would be tough, no doubt - but that Eryn's whiny baby outlook and Lexxi's outright arrogance would quite possibly work against them. With a small smirk she said that maybe, just maybe she could walk out the winner despite the odds.

Azul34 & Vertigo vs. Eric & Lyra Donavan

The next match of the night will determine the number one contenders for the HPW Tag Team Championships. Lyra and Eric Donavan find themselves in one corner while Azul34 and Vertigo find themselves in the other. Lyra offers to start the match, undoubtedly still fuming because of the way their title match went last week. Vertigo enters on the other side and we are off. Vertigo rushes forward and catches Lyra in a tilt-a-whirl headscissors, which only really seems to piss her off more. She immediately charges forward with “Braindead”, but it misses. On the rebound Vertigo is able to grab her by the waist and send her down with a german suplex. He goes for the cover, but it’s only good for a one count. He puts Lyra in a headlock while he tags with Azul. He lets her go and Azul tries for a snap suplex, but Lyra elbows her way out of it. She grabs Azul by the mask and sends him to the ground hard before dropping a knee on his face. He retreats to the wrong corner and Lyra gets him with a lariat before tagging out to Eric.

Eric slows down the pace of the match considerably, working Azul’s neck and back with a series of submissions. Eventually Azul works his way out of the holds and tries a lariat on Eric, but it is countered into a black dragon suplex. This gets a two count, but Azul is still in trouble. Eric pulls him up for a snap DDT, but Azul is able to pull his legs out of under him and fall to the corner to tag in Vertigo. Vertigo springboards off of the ropes and catches Eric with a kick to the chest. He goes for the cover. 1…2…KICKOUT. Vertigo catches him again with the Waveform Collapse and tries for another pin. 1…2…KICKOUT. With Eric down on the mat, Vertigo bounces off of the ropes and tries for Inverted Reality, but Lyra catches his leg at the last minute and he falls to the mat hard. Eric is up quickly to lock in his finishing submission, Dracophobia, but Azul sneaks past Lyra to break up the hold. Lyra gets the blind tag on Eric as Eric chases down Azul and ultimately sends himself and Azul over the top rope with a lariat. Lyra is in the ring alone with Vertigo. She grabs him by the head and sends him down hard with Soul of Vengeance, a devil lock DDT. She hooks the leg. 1…2…3! That’s it! Eric comes back into the ring to celebrate with Lyra, as next week they will get another shot for the Tag titles against The Shane Sisters.

WINNERS: ERIC & LYRA DONAVAN

We cut backstage as Chris Constantine is cutting a promo for Jack Tillman’s upcoming match between Jack and the Botanists Experiment. Saying that Jack is going to chop down Bryan Laughlin's pet and send the left over pieces to his front door in person. Chris also goes after Bryan and calls him out after attacking Rachel Redding with his monsters last week. That if it took a couple of monsters to take out a 120 pound little girl, that then it's going to take an army of monsters to leave a mark on Jack. So call Dracula. Call the Mummy. Call Frankenstein's monster. Call the Wolfman. Call the Zombies. Call up whatever friend you have and watch as Jack tears them and your little empire apart one by one.

Jack Tillman vs. The Botanist’s Experiment

Bryan Laughlin is once again on the ramp as his monster, The Botanist’s Experiment, is set to do battle with Jack Tillman. The Experiment seems to be more formidable than The Robot, as a minutes comes and goes and Tillman is struggling to get control over the monster. Every time he tries something, he gets tossed to the ground. The Botanist’s Experiment put a big boot, or stump, on Tillman’s back and tried to lock in “Uprooted” while Laughlin smiled on the ramp, but Tillman squirmed out of it. He charged forward with a chop block that send the Experiment down to one knee. Tillman grabbed one of his opponent’s arms to try to break some fingers, but to his surprise, the Botanist’s arm pops off and Tillman now has a large stick in his hand. He asks the referee if he can use the stick, and the referee shrugs and says he guesses it’s a body part so it’s legal. That’s enough for Tillman, so he begins beating the monster with the stick and then immediately pulled him up, turned to Laughlin on the stage, and connected with the Ball Room Blitz. He made the three count, and secured his spot in the cage match next week for the Television Championship.

WINNER: JACK TILLMAN

The scene opens to what looks a bit like an old 70’s style talk show, with a curtained backdrop, and a raised circular platform with two chairs on it, each flanking one side of a small table on which two clear glasses of water sit. In one chair is Sarah Sharp, GCW’s backstage interviewer, looking professional but still attractive, and in the other is Samantha Tolson, wearing a simple pair of jeans and one of her #TeamSuplex t-shirts. The lights, dimmed down at first, come up and shine brightly on the pair.

SARAH SHARP:
“Hello, I’m Sarah Sharp, an interviewer with Gulf Coast Wrestling here in the CWC, and I’m sitting with Samantha Tolson, which as many of you know will be facing CWC World Champion Ashley Tierney at the next CWC pay-per-view extravaganza Gateway To The Graps on July first in Saint Louis, Missouri.”

Sarah turns to Samantha with a smile.

SARAH SHARP:
“May I call you Sam?”

SAMANTHA TOLSON:
“Sure, Sarah.”

SARAH SHARP:
“OK, and, by the way, thanks for giving us the time.”

SAMANTHA TOLSON:
“My pleasure.”

SARAH SHARP:
“Sam, you’ve been very vocal at times about your desire for a rematch with Ashley, based solely on the events of United We Stand. Why do you feel that rematch is warranted?”

SAMANTHA TOLSON:
“I’ll tell you, Sarah, what I’ve told everyone...she had to use a set of brass knuckles to beat me. She couldn’t do it on skill and talent alone. When I came off the top rope at her to the outside with Oda a Mexico, she smacked me in the head with those brass knuckles. The fact she had to cheat to win, alone, should be reason enough to grant me a clean shot at winning that championship.”

SARAH SHARP:
“But there are a lot of those out there, Tierney included, who say that the bottom line is that she won the match, and you didn’t. How do you respond to those critics?”

SAMANTHA TOLSON:
“Yes, she won the match. I’ve never said she didn’t, and I won’t ever say she didn’t win that match. But, she did so with dubious tactics unbecoming of someone holding a World Championship. So, how do I respond to the critics? Would you rather have someone like her representing the whole of CWC, someone who had to cheat her way into becoming the World Champion, or would you rather have someone like me, someone with the skill, talent, and heart to not only capture but defend the title without having to resort to underhanded means? To me, the choice is obvious.”

SARAH SHARP:
“Speaking of dubious measures...you competed last week in a match for the HPW Women’s Championship, one in which your best friend, Lizzie Jones, laid out both Eryn Tyme and Lexxi D. Vine with a steel chair to ensure your victory. If the choice is clear, as you say, between you and Tierney...how do you defend that victory?”

SAMANTHA TOLSON:
“Let’s be clear about something here. It was just two weeks ago that Liz stabbed me in the back after she allowed me to claim the pinfall in the final match of the Queen of Hollywood tournament. As far as I knew, when I saw her show up at ringside last week, that steel chair had my name on it. I had no idea she was going to do what she did. It wasn’t as if she exactly clued me in on what her plan was. Sometimes, though, you have to fight fire with fire, and that’s what Liz was doing, albeit in her own way. By winning the HPW Women’s Championship, I suppose you could say I’m doing the same thing.”

SARAH SHARP:
“But wouldn’t you call that a tainted win?”

SAMANTHA TOLSON:
“Absolutely it was a tainted victory. I’ve never claimed differently. But, as a good friend has advised me quite sagely recently, I should enjoy the results, not the paths taken. So I’m going to enjoy holding this for one more week, and then next week, I’m going to show Sativa, Bianca, and Daniel Corvin exactly why I’m the next CWC World Champion by winning the unification match.”

SARAH SHARP:
“So far in CWC territories, there hasn’t been precedent for one competitor holding the CWC World Championship and their territory’s top title as well. Should you be successful, how would you handle that situation, holding both the HPW Championship and the CWC World Championship?”

SAMANTHA TOLSON:
“Honestly, I don’t know. I know in my heart that I could adequately and competently hold both championships and defend them both with honor. But, as to what will logistically happen, I can’t say. I think that precedent throughout wrestling history would dictate that I give up the HPW Championship to focus all my efforts on defending the CWC World Championship. All of this is conjecture though. I have to actually pull all this off first.”

SARAH SHARP:
“Fair enough. Sam, I understand that currently, not only do you hold the HPW Women’s Championship, but championships in other companies as well. Talk about those titles.

SAMANTHA TOLSON:
“Well, I won’t go into too much detail about them, because my real focus right now is the unification match next week, then the World Title match, but currently, I’m also the LAW Chaos Champion, and the Honor Champion in Honor Wrestling.”

SARAH SHARP:
“My research says you’re the first person to ever win the Honor Championship for a second time?”

SAMANTHA TOLSON:
“That’s correct.”

SARAH SHARP:
“Seems like quite the championship pedigree.”

SAMANTHA TOLSON:
“I don’t know about all that, Sarah. I suppose it means that I’m successful wherever I’ve go.”

SARAH SHARP:
“Do you enjoy the pressure of championship matches?”

SAMANTHA TOLSON:
“I do. I enjoy the pressure, the high stakes whenever there’s a championship on the line, whether I’m trying to win it, or trying to defend it. Championship matches are special events, regardless of the title or the venue. When there’s a championship at stake, everything is just that much more exciting, much more thrilling not only for us as wrestlers, but for the fans as well. I’ve been blessed in that in those matches, I’ve tended to fare pretty well in my career, but I enjoy everything that goes into preparing for and competing in a title contest.”

SARAH SHARP:
“Samantha, thank you for your time this week. Will you come back next week, and talk to us a little more ahead of Gateway to the Graps?”

SAMANTHA TOLSON:
“I would be honored, Sarah.”

SARAH SHARP:
“Well, there you have it. Next week, Sam and I will discuss the upcoming CWC World Title match more in depth, as well as next week’s big unification match to unite the HPW Women’s Championship and the HPW Championship. For Samantha Tolson, I’m Sarah Sharp. We will see you next week.”

With that, the lights dim down once again, as the two women converse privately among themselves.

Eryn Tyme & Lexxi D. Vine vs. Lizzie Jones

The next match of the night is a handicap match pitting Lexxi D. Vine and Eryn Tyme against Lizzie Jones, the woman who planted them with a chair last week in the Women’s Championship three way. Lexxi pushes Eryn out of the way and demands to start the match against Lizzie, but this may have been a mistake. Lizzie catches her early with a hip toss and hits a low dropkick to the back of the former champ’s head. Lexxi is in shock that things went so badly so quickly and she is left prone for Lizzie to immediately lock in a seated fujiwara armbar, but Eryn Tyme is there to break it up. She tosses Lizzie into the corner by the hair and buts a boot across her neck before the referee forces her out of the match. Eryn moves onto the apron as Lexxi plants Lizzie with a DDT for a two count. Lexxi starts punching away at Lizzie, but Lizzie manages to get covered up and find the ropes. The referee forces Lexxi off, and when she comes forward again Lizzie sticks a boot in her gut. Lexxi rushes to tag out, and Eryn is back in the match. Eryn grabs Lizzie and tries for a reverse DDT, but Lizzie spins out of it. Eryn ducks a right hook and nails a kick to the back of the leg, followed by the reverse DDT she tried before. 1…2…KICKOUT. Eryn goes back to work, this time trying to wear Lizzie down.

Eryn tosses Lizzie into the corner and pops the crowd with a stinkface, but Lizzie is having none of it and pushes the former champ off. Lizzie charges forward with a thesz press and gets some punches in. She tries for the Botox Breaker but Eryn pushes her away and Lexxi moves to pop Lizzie with a big forearm. Eryn goes for the rollup. 1…2…KICKOUT. But this one was much closer. A snapmare followed by a surfboard stretch. Lizzie isn’t tapping so Eryn breaks the hold and pulls Lizzie up, possibly going for a Celtic Driver. She gets Lizzie up but Lexxi makes the blind tag! Lizzie manages to flip through the tombstone attempt and rock Eryn with an elbow to the back of the head. Lexxi charges in and gets Lizzie up on her shoulders, but she fights out of it. Lizzie falls down and hooks Lexxi in the Botox Breaker, and it connects! She rolls Lexxi over. 1…2…3! Lizzie hustles out of the ring quickly while Eryn slides in, just a little too late.

Lexxi begins getting to her feet, and it was then that Eryn realized what had happened. They started screaming at each other in the middle of the ring, Eryn furious about the blind tag, but eventually Eryn had enough. She bounced off of the rope and nailed Lexxi with the Moon Blast! Satisfied, Eryn left the ring, but she was still not happy about the way this went down.

WINNER: LIZZIE JONES

Inside their locker room tension still, fills the air between Montana and Dakota, and they're feeling the aftereffects of their match they sit on opposite side of the locker room as their mom Carolina enters.

CAROLINA SHANE:
“I hope this little fight of yours is now over.”

Montana and Dakota don’t say anything.

CAROLINA SHANE:
“Well I'm saying it over, I don’t want my girls fighting each other over something petty.”

MONTANA SHANE:
“Dakota messed up.”

CAROLINA SHANE:
“But that was no reason for you to hate her.”

MONTANA SHANE:
“But mom…”

CAROLINA SHANE:
“I don’t care, it over now you two are gonna hug and that will be the end of it.”

Montana and Dakota, give a hug to each other that lacked anything feeling whatsoever.

CAROLINA SHANE:
“Now like you mean it.”

DAKOTA SHANE:
“I’m not hugging her.”

CAROLINA SHANE:
“Fine then, act like two spoiled brats, let's see how long you have your tag titles if you can’t get along.”

MONTANA SHANE:
“All Dakota has to say is she’s sorry.”

DAKOTA SHANE:
“Okay, I’m fucking sorry alright, are you happy now.”

MONTANA SHANE:
“Yes.”

Montana hugs her sister and this time it has feeling, Carolina smiles.

CAROLINA SHANE:
“Okay, now that your little squabble is cleared up, time to show everyone why you're the best tag team not only in Hollywood Pro but all of CWC.”

Montana and Dakota pack their gear and exit their locker room their tag title displayed proudly over their shoulder.

Two former champions were in the ring ready to get this one started. The bell rang, and Kenny Sex got the thumbs up from Finch Maruta on commentary. Styles started the match off rushing the center, but Kenny was there waiting with a variety of stiff shots. Styles rolled out of the ring and got into a confrontation with Finch Maruta at ringside, but Kenny Sex was there quickly to toss Styles back into the ring. Kenny slid under the bottom rope but Dylan was there waiting for him with some stomps. He pulled the former US Champ to his feet and tried immediately for Paycheck, but Kenny got free just in time. He couldn’t avoid the lariat, however, and Styles was in control of this match.

Kenny managed to get back into the match with a ball claw. Styles was beside himself as he tried to get free, but Kenny cut it off in time to connect with a big boot that sent his opponent down. 1…2…NO. Kenny went right back to work, humping the downed opponent. Styles rushed out of the ring as quickly as he could, embarrassed. Kenny shared a laugh with Finch and this only made Styles angrier. Finally the former HPW Champ slid into the ring and went blow for blow with Kenny, but this time he raked the eyes to get advantage. Styles connected with a beautiful dropkick, but it wasn’t enough to put away Kenny. Styles pushed Kenny into the corner and landed a hard chop, but on the irish whip attempt to follow, Kenny reversed it and put his opponent in the corner. There were three chops, each of them louder, before Kenny finally cracked Dylan across the head with a bionic elbow. 1…2…KICKOUT.

Somehow that wasn’t enough. Kenny bounced off the ropes and got Dylan with a senton. He hooked the leg. 1…2…KICKOUT. Finch was talking about the resilience of Styles at ringside. Kenny pulled Dylan up and tried for The Sex Drive, but Dylan raked the eyes once again and managed to get free. He picked Kenny up…. PAYCHECK! It connects! 1…2…3! That’s all she wrote.

After the match, Styles came face to face with Finch at ringside. He demanded a shot at the United States Championship next week, and Finch accepted it. Styles laughed and started to walk away, then BOOM! A cheapshot on Finch! Dylan watched the champ hit the floor before leaving ringside with a huge smile on his face.

WINNER: DYLAN STYLES

After the match, we cut to the interview lounge where Sarah Sharp is standing with Wulf Erikson and Hammerstein. She asks them why they requested this time, and they say it is because they want to announce that they are forming a tag team. Sarah asks Wulf why is choosing to do this, considering he has been so close to regaining the HPW Championship. Wulf says that he is tired of thinking about Daniel Corvin and the HPW Championship. He says that he wants wrestling to be fun again, and no one knows how to have fun in this business like Hammerstein. They announce that their team will be called Wulfhammer, and they aren’t going to stop until they are the champs. They are interrupted by Trevor Buckley and Matt Bellamy, two of the newest additions to the HPW roster. They debuted earlier in the night by ruining the sister versus sister match. Buckley tells Hammerstein and Wulf that if they want to jump into the tag division, they may as well face off against the newest team in town next week. Hammerstein and Wulf agree, and the match is set for next week.

Bianca Davis & Daniel Corvin vs. Sam Tolson & Sativa Neveah

Ashley Tierney, the special guest ring enforcer for this match, was the last to arrive. She took a seat outside the bellkeeper’s box and was ready to… enforce. The match began with Sativa and Daniel Corvin entering the match for their teams, and Ashe Corvin was biting his fingers at ringside ready to watch his two trainees square off. They clearly knew each other well, as the opening sequence featured counter after counter. Sativa finally caught him with a Nerf This and sent Corvin down. She looked at her partner, Sam Tolson, begging for a tag and rolled her eyes before going back to work on Corvin, but he got her with a small package. 1…2…TOLSON broke it up! Sam gave Daniel a hard forearm for good measure before looking down at Sativa. Corvin tagged in Bianca who rushed the ring and speared Tolson, but Sativa was up and grabbed her by the hair. Bianca elbowed her way out of it and connected with a snap DDT. 1…2…KICKOUT! Sativa was in trouble now as Bianca had her up for Beauty Sleep, but Sativa elbowed her way out of it and caught Bianca with a neckbreaker. Hurting, Sativa crawled over to the corner and made the tag to Tolson.

Tolson got in and connected with a german suplex to Bianca. The Malibu girl was wobbling around with Tolson got her with a belly to belly. Tolson was ready for the Victory Drop Alpha when, BOOM, a big boot from Corvin out of nowhere! Sativa gave him an amused smile as the referee pushed him back to his corner. Bianca crawled on top. 1…2…KICKOUT. Tolson wasn’t going down that easily. Bianca got to her feet and fixed her hair. She didn’t seem worried when she went down to grab Tolson, but in an instant she was trapped in a small package. 1…2…KICKOUT. Bianca sat up, amazed, and Tolson pulled her up with a headlock and proceeded to send her down with a hiptoss. Tolson dropped the knee, but she got too close to her corner and Sativa made the blind tag. Tolson and Sativa had a staredown while Corvin tagged himself in. He charged both women on the opposite side of the ring and sent them crashing into the corner with a double dropkick. He pulled Sativa into the middle of the ring and tossed her against the ropes. Darkness Elevated! The popup powerbomb connects! 1…2...TOLSON BREAKS IT UP.

Corvin grabbed her by the hair and tried to toss her out of the ring, but Tolson landed on the apron. She necked Corvin and then pushed him backwards, and he fell over Sativa. It was a good display of teamwork from two people who are certainly not friends. Sativa tagged in Tolson and it was time to go back to work. She had Corvin up and… VICTORY DROP ALPHA! 1…2… THE REFEREE WAS PULLED OUT OF THE RING. Tierney gave the referee a knee to the side of the head just to make sure he stayed down. She pointed a finger at Ashe Corvin who knew exactly what to do. He tossed a steel chair to Bianca Davis who rushed the ring. BANG! Right across the head of Sam Tolson! Bianca pulled Daniel on top as Sativa watched in amazement. Tierney slid into the ring and made the count quickly. 1…2…3! The screwjob was on!

WINNERS: BIANCA DAVIS & DANIEL CORVIN

After the match, Ashley Tierney stood over Sam Tolson with the CWC title held high into the air. It seemed like the show was about to be over, but then, rushing down the ramp, came Lizzie Jones. Lizzie charged the ring and caught Tierney with a spear, taking her down. Tierney rolled out of the ring as quickly as she could, but Lizzie was hot on her tail. Tierney kicked off the heels and hurdled over the barricade as Lizzie continued to chase, but after a while, they disappeared into the crowd. The camera cut back to the ring where Bianca Davis had grabbed the HPW Championship at ringside. She looked at it, held it into the air, and proclaimed that SHE would be the next champion. SMACK! The steel chair was back, and it was planted right across the back of Bianca Davis! Sativa dropped the chair and picked up the title belt, looking at it closely. She slid back into the ring right when Daniel was up on his feet. They came face to face, and Sativa met him with a smile. She pressed the belt into his chest, and then promptly left the ring. The show fades to black with Daniel watching Sativa as she exits up the ramp.
