HPW 11: CERTIFIED FRESH

LIVE FROM THE HOLLYWOOD PALLADIUM – LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA
TUESDAY JUNE 27TH, 2017

A black limousine pulls up and as the door opens a large foot exits as the camera scene widens and a large man with short buzzed red hair in a perfectly tailored suit. He steps to the side as a younger, fresh faced guy in his mid 30s exits the limo. He’s on his phone and mentions something about how he’s at the new spot. The Palladium, the red headed step child of CWC. He says he's there to see what he’s got to work with as he walks away and the large man mean mugs the camera before walking past.

Ashley Tierney vs. Lizzie Jones

We are ready to kick off Certified Fresh, and there is a big match feel when Ashley Tierney makes her way to the ring with the CWC World Championship around her waist. Just a few days before her match with Sam Tolson at Gateway to the Graps, the crowd is ready and willing to boo Ashley Tierney for targeting the HPW favorite. Lizzie Jones makes her way down to the ring and it is clear that she means business. The bell rings, and the match is ready to begin, with both wrestlers pacing around in the corners, thinking of the best way to get started.

When they finally meet in the middle, Lizzie locks Tierney in a headlock that quickly becomes a hip toss. Tierney kips up and out of it, but before she can get anything going, Lizzie bashes her with a forearm to the nose. Blood spills from Tierney’s nose as she rolls out of the ring and is quickly surrounded by medical staff. Tierney acts like she has been shot as the EMTs attempt to stop the bleeding. It doesn’t take long for Chris Callum to make his way down from the back to make sure Tierney is alright. He shouts something at Lizzie Jones and then to the referee, but Lizzie doesn’t seem to mind. She stands in the middle of the ring laughing. When the doctors agree that everything is okay, Callum asks Tierney if she wants to compete in this match. He says that she doesn’t need this and that Lizzie is just out to hurt her. Tierney follows him around the ring and it looks like she is heading to the back, but Lizzie grabs her by the hair from inside the ring and pulls her through the ropes. Lizzie sets her up for the Botox Breaker, but Tierney pushes out of it. Lizzie spins around right into a really deep claw to the eyes by Tierney. Desperate, Tierney tossed her into the ring post and Lizzie falls to the outside in a heap.

The champion takes a moment to clear her head before going out to track down Lizzie. Lizzie is slammed face first into the barricade, and then Tierney drags her face across the entire length of the apron before slamming her into the ring post again. The referee warns Tierney that he’ll disqualify her if she doesn’t get back in the ring, so she tosses her hands up and slides back in. It takes Lizzie a while, but eventually she joins Tierney inside.

In the ensuing few minutes, we get some back and forth wrestling. Jones is probably the better wrestler, and uses that skillset to keep Tierney on the back foot. But Tierney always manages to do something that gets her back in the driver’s seat. Jones tries for a DDT, but Tierney sweeps the legs and the two roll around the ring trying to get control. They both end up on their feet and Tierney catches Jones with a European uppercut and then connects with RESIGNATION! 1…2…KICKOUT!

Tierney is amazed that Lizzie managed to kick out of her most devastating finishing move, and she takes the time to throw a fit in the ring, still wiping residual blood from her nose. Tierney tries for the somersault cutter she calls Self Evaluation, but Lizzie gets out of the way just in time. Lizzie is up quick for a springboard bulldog that once again brings the blood. She hypes up the crowd and sets up for the Botox Breaker, but… ROLLUP! Tierney has her foot on the ropes! 1…2…3! That’s it!

Ashley flees the ring quickly with her belt in hand as Lizzie gets up, furious that Ashley managed to steal yet another victory. She begs the referee to restart the match, but by this point, it’s too late. Tierney has disappeared behind the curtain, and the camera lingers for a moment on Jones before we fade into a promo package.

WINNER: ASHLEY TIERNEY

The scene opens up again to that same 70’s-esque talk show set from last week, with the same chairs, the same table between them, right on down to the same glasses of water on them. In the chairs...well...same two people even. On the left, Sarah Sharp, and on the right, Samantha Tolson. The only thing different, really, is in how they’re both dressed. Sarah again looks professional, but certainly still attractive, while Samantha is sitting in her ring gear, a black sweatshirt on over top of it with the #TeamSuplex logo in gold on the front, and her HPW Women’s Championship belt in her lap.

Sarah: I’m Sarah Sharp from GCW, here again with the woman who in a few days faces off with Ashley Tierney for her CWC World Championship in Saint Louis at Gateway To The Graps. Sam, thanks again for your time.

Samantha: Again, my pleasure, Sarah.

Sarah: Let’s address kind of the elephant in the room, since we’re taping this just before the start of tonight’s event. Last week, Ashley was the special enforcer in your match, and set in motion the events that ended with you getting hit in the back of the head with a chair. Are you even cleared to compete? That looked like it knocked you cold.

Samantha: I won’t lie, I did get knocked out. I wound up with a grade one concussion and one massive headache for a couple of days, but I was able to fulfill my other obligations last week, so to answer your question, yes, I have been cleared to compete to the full satisfaction of the HPW medical team.

Sarah: I’d be remiss to say that the chances of that same bit of collusion happening tonight are rather high. How do you keep from getting waylaid again tonight?

Samantha: The bottom line, really, is that I can’t. I can’t keep them from trying something to get me out of the match. Quite frankly I’m expecting it. Each one of them knows I’m the biggest threat in that match, each one of them knows that I’m the favorite to walk out of the ring tonight as the HPW Undisputed Champion. I’d be plotting against me as well.

Sarah: There are those who would tell you to save your energy, and focus on the match coming soon for the CWC World Championship. How do you answer those people?

Samantha: Anyone who thinks I’m going to miss out on a chance to hold a championship are just fooling themselves. Sure, the goal after winning tonight is to win Saturday as well. I may well be giving up the title I win tonight in just a few days. But to etch my name into history as the first HPW Undisputed Champion is just too much of an opportunity to pass on. I’m going to fight like hell tonight, and I fully intend on walking out of the ring holding that new belt.

Sarah: After you were hit with the chair last week, your friend…

Samantha: Best friend.

Sarah: ...best friend, then...Lizzie Jones ran to ringside and chased off Tierney. What did you think of that?

Samantha: I watched the tape of that in the trainer’s room last week as they checked on my head. I thought it was one of the most hilarious moments I’ve seen since I started wrestling, and I’ve seen a few. The CWC World Champion, supposedly the baddest bitch on the planet if you listen to her prattle about it, scampering away from someone with just a mere handful of matches under her belt! I laughed until it hurt! Which, admittedly, didn’t take long. But what it really proved is exactly what kind of woman she is.

Sarah: And what would that be?

Samantha: She’s a coward, Sarah. She only wants to fight when she can stand on the higher ground, when she’s at an advantage. At United We Stand she had no choice but to fight me if she wanted the World Championship, and she had to cheat to win it. She’s a coward, plain and simple. There isn’t a courageous bone in her body, not an ounce of fight in her spirit. Truth of the matter? She’s a frail little girl trying her best to survive in a world full of warriors and fighters, and she knows that she’s overmatched. It’s why her reign has been marked by a lack of defenses, and why her reign is going to end Saturday night in Saint Louis.

Sarah: Let’s say you do, in fact, win the World Championship this coming Saturday. How would your reign as champion be different.

Samantha: Wow. That’s a great question, and one I appreciate you asking. A territory system only works as well as its champions work to defend their titles across the entirety of the system. To the best of my knowledge, our match will be just her fourth defense of the title. By the same point, I can absolutely guarantee you without hesitation I would make it a point, within my first month as champion, to defend the CWC World Championship at least once in every single territory in the system.

Sarah: That would be a rather daunting task, don’t you think?

Samantha: Absolutely. It would be a huge, huge undertaking, there’s no doubt about it. But to me, a champion is only as good as he or she proves it in the ring by putting the title up against the best competition available. If that means I run myself ragged doing that, that’s what I’ll do, but the CWC as a whole will have a World Champion not only they can be proud of, but a champion that they know won’t try and hide the title away from those deserving of an opportunity to win it.

Sarah: That could potentially cut your reign fairly short.

Samantha: I’m well aware of that, and if that happens, so be it. But I’m going to be a fighting champion regardless. With great risk, as the old saying goes, comes great reward. I want to set the standard for future champions to have to either meet or exceed. I want to undo all the damage that Ashley Tierney has caused our collective promotions and the World Championship. That cannot be done by waiting for defenses to be scheduled. It can only be done by taking the fight to each and every promotion and putting the belt on the line.

Sarah: One thing that hasn’t really been mentioned about this match is the location. The world, of course, knows it’s in Saint Louis, but that city holds special meaning to you, doesn’t it?

Samantha: It does indeed. It’s just two hours away from my hometown of Jefferson City, Missouri. It’s virtually like competing in my backyard.

Sarah: I would imagine you’ll have a fair few friends and family there.

Samantha: Well, I already know that my parents and my four brothers will be there. The love of my life, my heart and soul, Maggie Lockheart will be there also. I have friends from high school texting me for tickets. It’s getting a little crazy!

Sarah: What’s it mean to you to have that much support, especially in the face of some of the detractors you deal with on social media?

Samantha: It means the world to me. It means that I have a lot of people out there who support me, who get behind me win or lose and push me to not only keep going, but to keep getting better and better. As far as the detractors, as you call them, they can, quite honestly, kiss my ass. Ninety percent of them will never be as successful at any point in their lives as I have been so far, and the other ten percent try to knock me down to make themselves seem like they’re on a higher level. I don’t know what it is...jealousy, hate...but the bottom line is come Saturday, I’m going to make them all look really foolish.

Sarah: Sam, do you have anything else you’d like to add?

Samantha: To my opponents tonight...I know you have all gotten together, and plotted my demise, but you tried that last week, and five of you...FIVE OF YOU...couldn’t take me out. Now, it’s everyone for themselves for the Undisputed Championship. Tonight, I use that chaos to my advantage and show you all why I’m the best HPW has to offer. And to you, Ashley Tierney...mark your time with that belt well, dear. Cherish it for the next few days, maybe polish it up and make it nice and shiny. Because Saturday night, in Saint Louis, Missouri...that title will leave the ring with me.

Sarah: And that concludes our time. Sam, thank you for being with us the past two weeks.

Samantha: Thanks for having me, Sarah.

With that, the scene slowly fades darker, the two women again conversing between themselves.

Bellamy & Buckley vs. Wulfhammer

The second bout of the evening got started earlier than WULFHAMMER would have predicted. As the newly formed team of two fan pleasers were making their way to the ring making sure to not miss a high five down the ramp during their music Bellamy and Buckley sprinted down between the two of them and slid into the ring stealing the thunder of the WulfHammer entrance before beckoning them to the ring.

As Wulf and Hammer slid into the ring they were met with dual dropkicks that sent them tumbling through the ropes to the outside without much time to collect their thoughts as Bellamy and Buckley simultaneously dove through the ropes with dual suicide dives landing on their feet to the applause of the crowd. The referee quickly separated the teams and escorted them to the ring where Wulf and Bellamy officially start the match as Bellamy whips Wulf into his corner and unloads with a barrage of strikes before Wulf stumbles out of the corner and is met with an enzigurri and a quick cover for a two count!

Bellamy lifts Wulf up and tags in Buckley who continues with strikes before Wulf counters with a kick and swings his arm looking for a clothesline only to be spun around with momentum and driven into the mat with a german suplex and another quick cover only to kick out again at two!

The tag team work done by Bellamy and Buckley continues as Hammerstein slaps the turnbuckle to urge the crowd to clap along and cheer on Wulf as he is whipped into the ropes and nearly has his head taken off by a double dropkick before he ducks under both of them and continues off of the ropes before leaving his feet with a diving crossbody taking out both Bellamy and Buckley leaving only the legal partners still in the ring. Hammer reaches out awaiting the hot tag from Wulf that comes as he dives across the ring slapping his hand to the cheers of the crowd.

Hammer storms in with a clothesline to the legal Bellamy and then continues towards the apron where Buckley just got to his feet and clears him with a forearm. Bellamy charges Hammer from behind and misses finding himself in the corner where Hammer looks to the crowd before delivering nine chops to the chest that the crowd chants along ‘WHY’ to before gearing up with the tenth chop leaving welts on the chest as the crowd screams ‘WHY NOT’ in unison to.

Bellamy is then thrown to the middle of the ring before Hammer tags in a rejuvenated Wulf before Hammer climbs to the top rope and leaps off hitting the ‘GRAVITY IS JUST A SUGGESTION’ moonsault before quickly getting out of the way as Wulf runs from the opposite side of the ring with the chairless ‘SILVER BULLET SPECIAL’ hooking the leg while Hammer stalks Buckley before the referee counts to THREE for the pinfall victory.

WINNERS: WULFHAMMER

HPW TELEVISION CHAMPIONSHIP
Bryan Laughlin vs. Jack Tillman vs. Rachel Redding

The cage lowers as ominous music plays over the speakers accompanied by flashing strobe lights. Jack Tillman and Rachel Redding then both make their entrances to cheers from the crowd as they impatiently await the entrance of Laughlin as silence from the speakers lasts longer than usual between the entrances of Hollywood Pro Superstars. Rachel and Jack both grow annoyed and begin yelling at the referee on the outside of the ring who explains it isnt his fault. As they both turn towards the stage and demand the arrival of the Television Champion the lights go out and send the crowd into a frenzy before flashing back on to reveal Laughlin standing behind both of them with his face painted and television championship in his hands posing for the crowd. Rachel turns around first and is immediately blasted by Laughlin with the television championship before he then repeats the sentiment to the Jack before immediately throwing his championship belt over the top of the cage and beginning to climb only getting halfway up the cage before Rachel grabs his boot and pulls him back down to the canvas before delivering a SNAP DDT only to get up momentarily before Jack kicks her in the stomach and hits a piledriver leaving all three already on the mat as the crowd cheers.

Laughlin is first to get up and crawls on his hands and knees to the door before telling the referees to unlock it and trying to get through the door as Jack grabs his boot and Bryan hops to stand on his free foot before Jack throws his foot sending Bryan spinning to face the cage that he then throws him over the top rope and traps him in between the ropes and cage. Rachel gets to her feet and looks at Jack as they both shrug and decide to take out weeks of frustration due to Laughlin’s hijinks and they hit a double dropkick sending Bryan collapsing against the cage. Jack and Rachel then put the boots to Laughlin as the crowd cheers acknowledging them getting their frustrations out. Stopping for a moment Rachel and Jack celebrate before Jack realizes Rachel has her back turned and takes off up the ropes to climb the cage but is quickly stopped by Rachel as she pulls his leg and leaves him racked on the top rope in an unfortunate position for any male superstar to find himself in. Rachel then climbs carefully to the top rope before jumping off and hitting a hurricarana on Jack leaving them both in the middle of the ring.

Laughlin staggers to his feet and climbs to balance himself on the top rope using the cage for stability before leaping off with an elbow drop to Rachel and now all three of them lay in the middle of the ring to the applause of the fans.

Jack is the first to stand and picks up Laughlin before locking up his arm and making a throat cut taunt that lets the crowd know hes going for the ‘BALLROOM BLITZ’ but misses as Laughlin ducks and looks to rebound off the ropes with a forearm in mid air but Jack ducks and Laughlin hits Rachel taking her out and landing on his face as Jack scrambles to the mat and locks in ‘THE RECLUSE’ on Laughlin who screams in pain and taps his hands multiple times on the mat to no end due to the cage escape rules of the match. Jack pulls back further cranking on the neck of Laughlin before Rachel delivers a dropkick to both of them breaking the hold. Wasting no time Rachel lifts a depleted Laughlin before running towards the ropes and leaving her feet to hit ‘CATEGORY ONE’ square to his jaw before running into Jack who grabs her by the back of the head and sends her crashing into the cage face first. Jack rushes to the corner and climbs the cage showing signs of fatigue as he’s cheered on. Reaching the top he swings his leg over the top and realizes Rachel is right behind him in a last ditch effort to keep him in the cage grabbing his boot again and pulling him enough to get them both standing on the top rope balancing as they exchange strikes leaving each of them swaying dramatically as they nearly fall to the canvas. Laughlin finally reaches his feet and swipes Jack’s leg leaving him unbalanced as Rachel hits a forearm immediately after and Jack falls directly onto the shoulders of Laughlin who lifts him into the air and hits the ‘GOOD MORNING AMERICA’ f-5 gut buster. Mistakenly allowing himself to bask in his glory he turns around to Rachel in the air and mid rotation as she grabs his head and plants him with a top rope ‘EYE OF THE STORM’

The three combatants lay lifeless AGAIN in the middle of the ring as the fans begin a ‘THIS IS AWESOME’ chant.

Minutes pass as the three of them get to their feet using the ropes and meet in the middle of the ring as they start a game of forearm telephone starting with Jack to Bryan to Rachel completing the circle to Jack who turns and hits Rachel reversing the rotation until Jack get his return forearm from Laughlin that drops him to a knee. The three then exchange slaps in the circle before Bryan refuses his turn and takes a step back delivering a superkick to Rachel and then a matching one to Jack before falling to a knee and waving his hand towards the entrance.

The fans look towards the ramp as about a dozen men dressed like movie zombies begin to slowly walk down the ramp as the lead one carries an upside down cross. The crowd boos in unison as Laughlin plans to ruin the great match. As the zombies reach the cage they turn the cross sideways and manage to slide it under the little space of cage and ring. Rachel and Jack both get to their feet only to both fall victim to blasts from the black cross before Laughlin begins to stab at the canvas of the ring while the zombies disappear under the ring. As Rachel and Jack once again stir to their feet they are met by the zombies who have made their way in like a Night of the Living Dead through a hole that Bryan stabbed and ripped open in the canvas of the ring. The dozen or so Zombie looking minions split their forces to gather around Rachel and Jack holding them back as Bryan climbs up over the top of the cage before dropping to the outside where his feet touch and he laughs through his faded face paint looking down at the Television Championship the referee reluctantly dropped into his lap.

The large man from before, still mean mugging the camera as the scene opens to the young fresh faced guy shaking his head back and forth disgusted in what he has just witnessed on the monitor in front of him. He asks rhetorically if he has gotten himself in too deep before mockingly using his hands to imaginatively flash a fake Palladium sign “Hudson Hughes Presents Hollywood Pro and Skull Faced Laughlin”

A heavy eyeroll ends the scene.

Azul34 & Vertigo vs. Beer Beer Ayano & Duff Briggs vs. The Monsters

The three watch tag team match with obvious future tag title implications started with the teams of Azul & Vertigo along with Ayano and Dugg exchanging finishers on each of The Monsters leaving them practically useless, per usual. The teams then paired off and exchanged synchronized moves before Azul and Vertigo get the upperhand as Azul uses Vertigo as a weapon in true lucha fashion to force Duff and Ayano to the outside. They play to the crowd before the monsters come in again trying to spoil the fun but are met by twin missile dropkicks from Duff and Ayano who waste no time getting to their feet and exchanging strikes with Azul and Vertigo leaving them in opposite corners before whipping Azul and Vertigo into each other who doe-see-doe arm swing before launching themselves back into their opponents taking them down.

The referee gets control finally allowing Azul and Ayano in the ring. Shank got the upper hand quickly taking advantage of her speed and agility before The Monsters played spoiler, as they often did during the match never quite able to get any momentum but doing just enough to interrupt the flow of clean action inside the ring.

Ayano would struggle to get the tag as she was often isolated by the team of luchadors or prevented from doing so by the Monsters - but that didn't stop her from getting a fair share of offense in both Azul and Vertigo getting the opportunity to hit her Corona Crash & frog splash for near falls on both of them.

The finish of the match saw the Monsters pull Duff off of the apron before Ayano could reach the hot tag leaving Duff to exchange strikes with the Monsters as Ayano stumbled into Azul who lofted Ayano with an airplane spin as Vertigo ragged himself in and hit his ‘RUBBER REALITY’ spring board dropkick for a three count

WINNERS: AZUL34 & VERTIGO

The cameras turn backstage and catch Lizzie Jones walking along one of the arena corridors. She stops as she spots the camera, her face fully showing how unimpressed she is.

She grabs the camera and looks into it, asking what the hell the performance by Ash Tierney earlier in the show was all about. She asks if that is all Ash can do - cheat, claw her way to the narrowest of victories. She details how a rookie almost beat the supposed champ, and mocks Ash for having to resort to underhanded tactics to get the job done. She says she knows Tierney was terrified of losing. She says that no matter how Ash spins it, she saw that fear in her eyes, just as she saw the desperation in her actions.

She points out that Tierney and her dimwit lackey Nicole Evans had talked about arranging Liz’s funeral - but she is still here. She talks about how confident of an easy win Tierney was, but she had to resort to cheating. She labels the CWC World Champion weak and pathetic, and mocks both her and Nicole for the failure to comprehensively defeat her. She says that, in a fair fight, she could have put Tierney away, and then mockingly thanks Ashley for the confidence booster.

Lizzie asks how it can be that such a weak competitor can represent all of CWC. Ash Tierney is not, she says, a real champion and is most certainly not her, or anyone’s, queen. She ends by saying that when Ashley is dethroned, she will be there to enjoy the moment.

And with that she moves along toward her locker room.

HPW TAG TEAM CHAMPIONSHIP
Dragon Clan vs. Team Hot and Trashy

The Dragon Clan, hot off of earning their number one contendership start the match hot and the crowd is on their side as the dysfunctional Shane sisters struggle to put together any offense as the Clan put both sisters on the outside of the ring before Lyra jumps into Eric’s arms and he lifts her above his head before dropping Lyra on their opponents outside. Eric fires up the crowd as the referee gets the match under control.

The Shane sisters controlled a good portion of the match from that point after distracting the referee and Eric, on the apron, to unintentionally get the attention of the referee. From there they took advantage of Lyra in their corner using surprisingly methodical quick tags and effective strikes. Dakota worked Lyra over the most with stiff clotheslines and kicks. Lyra almost made a hot tag to Eric after countering a bulldog but Montana distracted the referee again almost at the expense of their championships as Dakota rolled Lyra up and the crowd chanted to a count of 5 as the referee dealt with Eric and Montana.

A hot tag came after Dakota yelled at Montana on the outside and Eric tore through Team Hot and Trashy using his size to an advantage. Even managing to hit “DRAGON FANG” on Dakota who stumbled through the ropes and to the outside, but not before Montana got a blind tag. As Eric chased a stumbling Dakota his wife entered the ring and tried to go after the legal Shane sister who took advantage of the situation and slide to the outside grabbing her championship belt and blasting Eric upside the head.

Rolling him in the ring for the two count Lyra makes the save before getting hit with the “22STD” eye poke DDT combination by Hot and Trashy who then stalk Eric who shakes the cobwebs out only to get hit with the ‘SWEET SURRENDER’ as they both cover Eric for the three count!

WINNERS: TEAM HOT AND TRASHY

Eryn Tyme vs. Lexxi D. Vine

These two obviously blame each other for their shortcomings the past few weeks as they were given opportunities. Eryn and Lexxi met in the middle of the ring as the bell rang and the finger pointing quickly escalated in screaming and fell apart into them trading shoves before they grabbed a hole of each other's hair and rolling around on the mat in a very cat fight fashion.

They rolled to the outside and continued to fight to the 8 count before both sliding into the ring. The offense exchanged between the two came in spurts and often ended with the other planting a perfectly placed counter kick or slap.

Towards the end of the match Eryn was trying to climb the turnbuckle and Lexxi shoved the referee into her “on accident” and instinctively Eryn held her boot out and accidentally connects with the referee bit showed little concern before she left her feet and landed a Denton to the chest of Lexxi but the referee was still struggling.

Eryn grew frustrated and yelled at Lexxi before trying to help the referee up - but it ended up to be her downfall as Lexxi capitalized on Eryn’s lack of focus and hits the ‘LEXPLEX’ for the three count and victory

WINNER: LEXXI D. VINE

Hudson catches Eryn backstage immediately as she walks through the curtain and explains to her that he’s been watching her and knows she's frustrated and he can help. He knows everything there is to know about Hollywood, and he knows when some people are actors and others are directors. Hudson tells Eryn she’s a director, not an actor and then tells her to make a resume and bring it to him next week to be his assistant GM. Eryn asks where he will be in the building and Hudson smiles and tells her that she won't be able to miss him

CWC UNITED STATES CHAMPIONSHIP
Dylan Styles vs. Finch Maruta

Both Finch Maruta and Dylan Styles have made their way to the ring, and both men have the ability to fly high when they want to. The CWC United States Championship is held high into the air and then the bell rings, with both men charging the ring. Styles isn’t a big man, but he is bigger and stronger than Finch Maruta and he uses this to his advantage. He backs Finch against the ropes and then whips him across the ring, but Finch flies back with a jumping forearm. Finch immediately bounces off of the ropes with a springboard legdrop for a two count. Finch gets Styles up like a sack of potatoes over his shoulder and tosses him into the corner. A monkey flip sends Styles to the ground, followed by an elbowdrop from the top rope. 1…2…KICKOUT. Styles is running for the hills, but Finch keeps the quick pace and manages to charge forward with a jumping knee to the back of the head. Styles is down face first in the corner and he gets a big running double knees to the back, sending his head into the turnbuckle. Finch goes for another cover. 1…2…KICKOUT. Styles isn’t ready to give up just yet.

Dylan manages to fight back with a big forearm and a kick to the gut. He plants Finch with a DDT and takes a moment to catch his breath in the corner. Before he can realize, Finch is up and charges the corner, but catches a boot to the face from Styles. Styles runs forward again and meets him with a lariat before slowing the match down to a crawl with some headlocks and stretches. Finch fights out and goes for the double knee facebuster, but Styles lets him drop and then floats over to a pin attempt. 1…2..KICKOUT!

Finch is clearly hurting after Styles has worn him down, but he continues to fight his way back into the match. He tries for a springboard DDT but Styles slams him to the ring with a modified northern lights suplex for another pin attempt. 1…2…KICKOUT. They get up and Styles tries a rollup, this time with his feet on the ropes. 1…2…KICKOUT. Finch meets him with a big uppercut followed by a hurricanrana. 1…2…KICKOUT. The series of near falls is broken up by Styles slamming Finch to the mat with a dropkick. Styles got him with a facewash while playing to the crowd.

In the final minutes of the match, Finch began battling back. He got Styles with some hard shots to the gut followed by a jawbreakers. Finch bounced off of the ropes trying for a springboard twisting uppercut, but it missed, and Styles picked him up for the Paycheck. Finch got out of it, but he couldn’t avoid the Pele Kick. Styles went to the top rope, trying for his patented 450 Splash that he calls Death Penalty, but Finch moves out of the way! Finch waited for his moment. Springboard moonsault inverted DDT! It connects! He hooks the leg. 1…2…3! That’s it! Finch retains the title! He climbs to the top rope holding his title high as his music plays and Dylan is led out of the ring.

WINNER: FINCH MARUTA
(Still CWC United States Champion)

In an effort to completely flood the screen and overkill his arrival in Hollywood Pro, the camera catches Hudson Hughes shaking hands with HPW fans before hopping up over the barrier followed by his large bodyguard. Viewers discover that the large man’s name is Rex when Hudson directs him with a point of the finger and a loud demand for “Wreck’em Rex” and the monster then walked over towards the commentary team and flips the table up over on top of them. Rex then grabs the both of them as Hudson yells like the small barking dog behind it’s owner to “Tell your old boss you need a new job because you’ll never work in this town again”

Rex then throws the two men over the barrier as Hudson takes a headset and sits down in a chair with his feet kicked up on the flipped over table promising to call the action for the main event.

HPW UNDISPUTED CHAMPIONSHIP
Bianca Davis vs. Daniel Corvin vs. Samantha Tolson vs. Sativa Neveah

Davis, Corvin, Tolson, and Nevaeh are in the ring, ready to fight for the chance to become the new HPW Undisputed Champion. When the bell rings, Corvin rushes Davis while Sativa targets Tolson. Tolson sends Sativa over the top rope and the two begin to brawl outside the ring while Corvin gets Davis up with a body slam. Corvin bounces off of the ropes and nails her with a senton. Tolson had kept Sativa in control outside with a slam against the apron and she rushes the ring for a rollup attempt, but it gets kicked out of at one. Tolson grabs him up and slams him to the ground with a german suplex, but before she can capitalize, Corvin rolled out of the ring and Sativa made her way in, clobbering Tolson with a lariat, and then another. Sativa tosses Tolson into the corner and met her with a knee to the gut before a snapmare sent her down. She climbed to the top. LEAF ON THE WIND! The Phoenix Splash FLATTENS Tolson! 1…2…BIANCA DAVIS BREAKS IT UP! She pushes Sativa into the corner and sticks a boot in her neck as Tolson rolls out of the ring. Bianca grabs her by the head and sends her down with a bulldog, but Corvin is in once again to keep her busy. They trade some shots, and Corvin comes out on top, but Bianca rakes the eyes and gets control. She kicks him between the legs and Corvin bends down long enough to get planted with a DDT. 1…2… Sativa was there in time!

Sativa began working Bianca’s arm with a series of wrenches, but Bianca fought out of them with a few kicks to the shin. She caught her breath and tried for a bulldog once again, but Sativa caught her! Reverse STO! Koji Clutch! NIGHTY NIGHT! Sam Tolson breaks it up! She tosses Sativa out of the ring and goes for the cover on Bianca. 1…2…KICKOUT. Corvin grabs her by the neck and tries to toss her out of the ring, but Tolson says on the apron. She gets him with a shoulder to the gut before picking him up and suplexing him over the top rope and out of the ring! All four competitors are down.

Bianca gets on her feet to greet Sativa in the middle of the ring. They trade some shots back and forth before Bianca lays her out with a roundhouse kick. She gets her in position for the Beauty Sleep, and has her on her shoulders when Sam Tolson gets her with a german suplex! Both Bianca and Sativa land on the mat hard and fall out of the ring. Corvin is in now and he begins taking her down with a series of kicks. A bodyslam later and he is on the top rope. He signals the cut throat before attempting his finishing double foot stomp, the Sword of Damocles. But Tolson moves out of the way!

VICTORY DROP ALPHA! It connects! Tolson covers Corvin… could it happen?

That’s it! Tolson gets to the top rope as quickly as she can and holds the belt high into the air. She is the new HPW Undisputed Champion, and just a few nights before she challenges for the CWC World Championship.

Ashley Tierney makes her way down the ramp about halfway, and the two champions have a staredown. Tolson smiles and motions a title around her waist. We fade to black.

WINNER: SAMANTHA TOLSON
(New HPW Undisputed Champion)
