LEGACY 4 - THE FUCKING DISRESPECT

LIVE FROM KORAKUEN HALL, TOKYO, JAPAN
TUESDAY - JULY 11, 2017

The show opens up and, once again, Austin Craddock makes his way out to the ring. He reveals that the Legacy of the Gaijins tournament will take place over two weeks, starting from next week. He reveals that the tournament will be split into two brackets: A and B. Bracket A will take place next week, and Bracket B will take place the week after. The final will take place in two weeks time, where we will crown the first ever Gaijins Champion. He then announces that he has managed to acquire some guest competitors, and while he’s not going to name everybody just yet, he can safely say that they are three young, exciting talents who he has no doubt will entertain everyone. He then quickly goes over the card for the evening, stressing the importance of the qualifying matches. He promises that the Legacy of the Gaijins tournament is just a glimpse of what is to come in the future, as he has lots of ideas lined up. He then leaves, allowing the first match to get underway. Asahi Watanabe makes his entrance first, only to quickly be followed by Sasori Saito.

IF SASORI SAITO WINS, SHE QUALIFIES FOR THE LEGACY OF THE GAIJINS TOURNAMENT
MATCH 1
ASAHI WATANABE vs. SASORI SAITO

The bell sounds, and the match begins. Asahi begins by shouting “INDEEEEEEEEEEED” in Sasori’s face. She immediately grabs him and hits him with the “Satsujin-sha!”. She makes the cover and it’s over!

The cameras go to the backstage area, where we see Essence watching the outcome of Sasori Saito’s match. She’s still taping up her wrists for her match. She nods her head after Saito’s quick victory, before wandering off.

Winner: Sasori Saito (Time: 00:08)

The scene cuts backstage where Dominic Wolfe is standing in front of a camera with a smug look on his face.

Dom Wolf: So tonight I make my debut in Japan: Legacy. Most of you think I'm an outsider to this territory but nah, it's quite the opposite. I grew up in Thailand and I've been all over Asia. Needless to say, I feel at home here in Japan and I think it's fitting this territory is called Legacy. Why? Because I'm going to make mine here.

He pauses and nods.

Dom Wolfe: I dare any of you sorry sods to try and stop me. The first one of you who will try is Kenji Masaru. Sure, he's from Tokyo but does anyone really know who this twat is?

He laughs and shakes his head.

Dom Wolfe: Exactly my point. Nobody knows and nobody cares. Once I'm through with Kenji tonight, his hometown of Japan is going to realize how much of a failure he truly is.

Dom steps closer to the camera and glares into it.

Dom Wolfe: After tonight, Kenji and the rest of you will fear the Wolfe. Count on it.

He nods and walks away.

MATCH 2
KENJI MASARU vs. DOM WOLFE

The match starts off at a very high pace. At one point it seemed as if they were going to spend the entire match Pele kicking one another but eventually they switched it up, as Kenji Masaru takes Dom Wolfe down with an inverted suplex. Dom uses his Muay Thai background to his advantage to wear down Kenji, but it doesn’t last long.as Kenji fights his way back into the match. Kenji begins a flurry of strikes followed by a spinning clothesline, he follows this sequence by executing a nice standing moonsault and attempts the cover, but can only get a two count. Both men get to their feet and begin a chain of combinations, which consists primarily of reversals. Dom ducks underneath a clothesline, Kenji leap frogs over Dom, Dom falls flat on the ground which allows Kenji to hop over him, Kenji then does a rolling backflip over the back of Dom, and the sequence ends with a double dropkick. Kenji quickly runs to the ropes and attempts to hit a springboard stunner, but Dom superkicks him right in the back! Kenji hits the mat hard, and Dom goes to the top rope. It appears he’s going for the Wolfe Splash, but Kenji rolls to the opposite side of the ring. As Dom gets down, Kenji kips up and the fight is back on. Dom hits Kenji with a kick to the gut and hits a triple rolling suplex, and nicely transitions it into a falcon arrow. He gets a quick two count before going back to his assault. He hits a nice enziguri before hitting a springboard moonsault, and again, he can only find the count of two! He picks Kenji back up, who breaks free of the hold and begins to rapidly kick Dom in the shins and thighs. Quickly now, Kenji runs to the corner, jumps on the second rope and hits a nice turn over crossbody! He begins a flurry of punches before setting up for his shooting star press finisher, but Dom has done his homework, and this time he’s the one rolling to the other side of the ring.Kenji gets down from the top rope, but just as he does, Dom is back to his feet and hits him with a running bicycle kick. This causes Dom to stop for a second and rest, laid out on the top rope – what an asshole. He notices Kenji is getting back up, and quickly gets off the top rope and starts to hit Kenji with muay thai kicks, Kenji is eventually able to catch one, which completely surprises Dom. Kenji pushes him away and hits another Pele kick!

He goes for the shooting star press once again, but Dom gets his knees up! Dom gets up and sets up for “The Wolfe’s Howl”, and he hits it! He makes the cover, and gets the three count!

Winner: Dom Wolfe (Time: 09:53)

Kenji gets up after a hard fought match, to the applause of the crowd. He waves, thanking them for their support. But then, suddenly, a masked man jumps over the crowd barrier and attacks Kenji from behind. He blindsides him, and then locks him in a Dragon sleeper/bodyscissors combo. Kenji tries to fight, but after a while he ends up passing out. His attacker, better known as SaiNo Ōji, stands over his fallen body with a smirk on his face. The crowd boo him, but he doesn’t care, His message was sent.

MATCH 3
ALEKS BERZINS vs. ESSENCE

The match begins, and immediately Essence is on the front foot. A discus elbow smash floors Aleks Berzins, and that is the opening that Essence needs. She quickly locks in a Boston crab, and Aleks starts screaming out in pain. However, she’s close enough to the ropes to drag herself along the mat to get her fingertips to it. Essence breaks the hold as soon as the referee begins his count. She backs away and allows Aleks to get back to her feet, but when she turns around she walks right into a bicycle kick. Essence hooks her leg and makes the cover. 1..2..3!

After the match, the camera cuts to backstage where Sasori Saito is watching on a TV screen. After Essence’s impressive victory, and huge statement, Sasori leaves the scene. Essence leaves the ring, and as Aleks starts to realise what has happened, she begins to throw a tantrum.

Winner: Essence (Time: 00:34)

MATCH 4
MASON WOLFE vs. TADASHI

As soon as the match begins, both men charge towards each other. But Mason Wolfe, at the last possible second, side steps TADASHI and exits the ring. He begins to walk around the outside, seemingly unfazed by the referee’s count. He slides back into the ring at six, but before TADASHI can get to him, he slides right back out again. The crowd voice their disapproval, but Mason doesn’t care. He shouts abuse at TADASHI from outside the ring, but when TADASHI rolls out of the ring too, he starts to run. A chase briefly ensues, until Mason re-enters the ring. TADASHI is back in soon after, and Mason is quickly trying to stomp on him. But TADASHI moves out of the way, and immediately charges at Mason. He begins to hammer away at him, wanting to make Mason pay for the weeks of underhanded tactics and getting inside his head. Mason keeps trying to escape, but each time TADASHI pulls him back. In the end, Mason has to create an opening via a thumb to the eye. The referee pulls Mason away to give him a stern talking to, but Mason doesn’t care. As soon as TADASHI runs towards him again, he takes him down with a roundhouse kick. Mason, proud of his work, begins to taunt the crowd. He turns his attention back to TADASHI, who has just gotten back to his feet. Mason has a headlock applied, which is countered by TADASHI, but he doesn’t have a chance to fight back, as Mason quickly hits a sling blade. He goes for the cover but his feet are on the ropes, which the referee notices. The two argue again, but Mason doesn’t give a shit and proceeds to stomp on TADASHI before picking him up and attempting to hit the “Thrill of the Hunt”, but TADASHI reverses it and hits him with a Yakuza kick! TADASHI goes for the cover, but Mason gets his shoulder up at the count of two. Mason crawls to the corner, shaking off the cobwebs after that hard kick from TADASHI, he sees TADASHI standing over him and begins to beg for him to back off, and even calls for a time out. TADASHI appears to be listening to reason, as Mason offers him a handshake, but TADASHI isn’t going to be fooled by it and kicks his hand away and hits an inverted belly to back slam. Not wasting any time, TADASHI picks Mason back up and lands a headbutt, a right-handed punch, and another headbutt before executing a knife edge chop. Mason is propped up against the corner as TADASHI makes his way to the opposite one. He gets the crowd behind him before running full speed towards Mason and hits him with a hard knee strike to the gut. TADADSHI makes another cover, but “The Illustrious One” kicks out. TADASHI hits Mason with a few forearm smashes before hitting a springboard lariat, but it’s countered by Mason into a fireman’s carry, which is then dropped into a cutter! Mason goes for the cover, but can only find the count of two. Mason tells the referee that it was a clear three count before taking out his frustrations on his opponent. TADASHI is seated against the ropes, which sets him up perfectly for a running knee smash, but TADASHI moves at the last second and uses a roll up, but can only get a two! Both men are quickly back to their feet and run towards each other, Mason attempts running forearm, but TADASHI had it well scouted and smacks Mason’s forearm before hitting a stiff forearm of his own, which staggers Mason for a few seconds, giving TADASHI enough time to hit, wait, he hits Mason with a “Last Chance!”, his own move! Another cover, and TADASHI would love nothing more than to pin Mason with one of his own signature moves, but Mason has the ring presence to get his foot on the bottom rope. TADASHI is getting ready to hit the “Brand New Single”, Mason turns around and quickly rolls out of the ring. The referee begins to count. Mason appears to be walking away from the match, telling TADASHI and these fans that he’s simply not worth his time. The referee is at a count of eight, nine, and ten! TADASHI has won, but it’s not the victory or revenge he was hoping for!

Winner: TADASHI, via countout (Time: 11:01)

The ring fills up with a variety of furniture, notably a table, ahead of the contract signing. Austin Craddock takes up his position in the ring, and he invites out each of the participants. First out is the challenger, Yuri Jigoku. Then, soon after comes the Champion, Hirokai Yokoza. The two men get into each other’s faces, before Austin instructs the pair of them to sit down.

Hirokai places the championship on the desk, so that Yuri has perfect view of it. Yuri, entirely in Japanese, goes onto say how he is the Japanese veteran, and that CWC Japan: Legacy will soon be built around his legacy. He claims that while being the Rising Sun Champion is great, he has been given the opportunity to represent the brand by bringing the CWC United States Championship back to a country that isn’t ‘useless’: Japan. Hirokai respectfully listens to every single word, and when the opportunity arises for him to speak himself, he choses not to. Instead, he grabs the pen and signs the contract. Yuri takes one look at the contract, then the Championship, before signing. He then tries to cheapshot Hirokai, but the champion sees it coming. He tries to lock in a cross armbreaker, but he can’t quite manage it as Yuri fights him off and leaves the ring. Before Hirokai can go after him, Austin yells to get their attention.

He makes it clear that he disapproves of both men trying to turn this into a brawl, but he also sees it as a golden opportunity. He says that as the two men clearly are not too fond of each other, he will make the Rising Sun Championship match a NO DISQUALIFICATION match. And what’s more, it will happen NEXT WEEK! The audience erupt with excitement, as all three men leave in order for the next match to begin.

LEGACY OF THE GAIJINS QUALIFIER
MATCH 5
DABRIA RHODES and POLLY McPHERSON vs. JESSY TURNER and ALISA RUTSKAYA

The bell rings, and Dabria Rhodes starts things off for her team. Jessy Turner and Alisa Rustskaya, on the other hand, cannot seem to agree on who will start off on their side. In the end, Jessy steps out of the ring. Though judging by the look on her face, she doesn’t seem too pleased about it. Dabria and Alisa lock up, and Alisa gains control. She works Dabria down to one knee, at which point she pulls her in for a side headlock. Dabria struggles, but she is eventually able to break three with repeated elbows to the ribcage of Alisa. Alisa lets go, slightly winded. Dabria locks in a side headlock of her own, but instead she transitions into a running bulldog. Dabria goes for a quick pin attempt, but cannot even manage a count of two. Polly McPherson puts out her hand, so Dabria picks up Alisa and pulls her towards the corner. Dabria then makes the tag to Polly, who enters the ring with excitement. She hits a backhand chop to Alisa’s chest, who drops down to all fours. Polly quickly grabs her foot, but Alisa boots her in the face with her free foot. She frantically crawls across the ring to make the tag to Jessy, to is in two minds. Eventually, Jessy does make the tag, and makes her way over to Polly. She Judo tosses her across the ring, which she follows up with a shining wizard. After the combination of moves, she goes for a pin attempt. But she’s only able to gain a two count, as Polly kicks out with ease. Jessy wastes too long to continue on the offence, and this allows Polly a route back into the match. Jessy walks towards her, but Polly is able to catch her by surprise with an exploder suplex into the turnbuckles. The match is then very much a back-and-forth affair, with several unsuccessful pin attempts. Polly Irish whips Jessy into her corner and tags in Dabria, the two displaying excellent team work. Dabria connects with a standing drop kick, which sends Jessy to the canvas. But when Dabria climbs to the top rope with big intentions, it proves to be quite a mistake. Nobody is home, as Jessy moves out of the way. At this point, Jessy takes control of the match. She takes Dabria down with a Lou Thesz press, before repeatedly smashing her head against the canvas. Dabria tries the best she can, but her inexperience shows as she struggles to catch a break. However, when Jessy runs towards the rope to gain momentum, Alisa Rutskaya tags herself in. This doesn’t sit well with Jessy, as she gets right into her face. The two have a heated exchange, and Polly quickly enters the ring to pull them apart. Dabria pushes Jessy away, trying to get her to calm down. Polly gently places her hand on Dabria’s shoulder, but Dabria elbows her in the face, mistaking her for Alisa. This causes Polly to retaliate and tackle Dabria to the floor, and the two start brawling. Jessy and Alisa end up doing the same, and with the referee unable to regain order in the match, he has no choice but to call for the bell.

Result: No contest (Time: 16:28)

With the four women still brawling, Austin Craddock appears with a disappointed look on his face. Once he has their attention, he announces that deep down, he always knew that this match was going to end like this. He makes it clear that their inability to work as a team for the greater good has been noted, but also concedes that this match ending as a no contest has left him with a bit of a dilemma. He says that he could restart the match, but the same thing would just happen again.

Instead, he reveals that after recent roster departures, two spots have opened for the Legacy of the Gaijins tournament. He announces that all four women will be entered into the tournament, but because they shouldn’t be rewarded for their inability to coexist, he makes it clear that only two of them can make it past the first round. This is because the dysfunctional tag teams will compete against each other, as Polly will face Dabria and Jessy will go one-on-one with Alisa. All four women seem satisfied with the news, particularly as they get to continue where they left off. However, before the scene fades, Austin points out that if any of the women as much as lay their hands on another, ALL four of them will be removed from the tournament. This completely changes the mood, and gives them an incentive to leave the ring quickly to ensure that they don’t do anything stupid.

MAIN EVENT
OCULTA SANTOS (w/ OCULTA DA SILVA) vs. BIG BANTER

This match doesn’t start in a traditional way, as both of these men have wanted a piece of each other since Legacy #1. Big Banter, the bigger of the two, pushes Santos down to the ring mat and attempts a quick elbow drop, but Santos, the quicker of the two, is easily able to avoid it. Big Banter runs for a clothesline, but Santos ducks underneath it, and attempts a calf-kick, but Banter pushes him out of the way. Da Silva, who is on the outside, briefly distracts Banter, allowing for his cousin to hit a short-armed clothesline. With Banter down, Santos begins to systematically take out the bigger man’s legs, and effectively, nullifying the Big Banter Boot! Santos hits a leg-trapped DDT, before locking in a cloverleaf. Banter makes it to the rope, but Santos makes good use of the referees five count. He stomps the right leg a couple of times, and wraps it around the bottom rope. The referee is attempting to hold Santos back, which allows Da Silva to begin his attack on Banters right leg! Santos picks Banter up by the hair, and kicks him in the gut. He appears to be going for the “Kosei Bomb”, but he’s struggling to lift the 275-pound Big Banter. This allows Banter to reverse into a back drop, but the damage has been done to his leg, and he falls to one knee after the move connects – this gives Santos the upper hand once again, as he hits a chop block on Banter. The referee begins to check to see if Banter can continue, he nods, and gets back to his feet. Santos rushes towards, but Banter fights back with a shoulder block. He Irish whips him into the corner, and connects with a running clothesline, and begins to stomp Santos in the midsection. He stops at the referees four connect, and limps back before going right back into the assault in the corner. He picks Santos out of it, and hits a chokeslam backbreaker, with a quick follow up pinfall getting a two count. Visibly frustrated and in pain, Banter begins the setup for the “Big Banter Boot”, which could prove to be an error on his part. On the outside, Da Silva once again causes an unintentional distraction, as Banter keeps an eye on him lurking around ringside, this allows Santos to attempt the “Malevolence”, but Banter moves out of the way, and Santos hits the middle turnbuckle! Once he’s come too, he turns around and is met with a “Big Banter Boot!”, but Big Banter can’t make the cover because of the use of his bad leg! With both men down, the referee begins his ten count. Both men make it to their feet, with Big Banter struggling out of the corner, he turns around and Santos is able to hit Banter with the “Malevolence!”, he’s not done, as he picks him up, and hits it again, and a third time! He makes the cover, and without question gets the three count!

Winner: Oculta Santos (Time: 10:39)

The match is over, but both Santos and Da Silva are in the ring, we’ve seen from the past few weeks that Big Banter has clearly rubbed both the wrong way since all three debuted here, and they have evil intentions planned right here, right now – and the assault begins! Both men just pummelling and stomping away on the Big Man! Wait, the lights have gone out in the building, what’s going on? We can only assume there’s been some sort of power outage, we need to find an alternative light source quickly, or this could be the end of Big Banter! The lights quickly come back on, and IN THE RING, IT’S BRAEDEN CORBETT! AND HE HAS A CHAIR! He yells “HELLO!”, and hits Santos with the chair, and then dashes towards Da Silva, who wastes no time getting out of dodge. Braeden hits the canvas with the chair, begging the cousins to come back. Big Banter is back to his feet, he too wants the cousins to come back, but the cousins decide to fight another day. Big Banter and Braeden too sweet each other as we go off the air, the Braeden Club is in Japan!
