HPWXIII: SUNSET GAUNTLET

LIVE FROM THE HOLLYWOOD PALLADIUM – LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA
TUESDAY JULY 11TH, 2017

Writing on the screen denoting that what is being filmed was from earlier in the day loads in the top right hand side of the screen as Dylan Styles walks past beckoning fans pulling his luggage behind him. A cocky grin on his face as he makes his way into the building where he will have a shot at the Hollywood Pro Champion, Samantha Tolson. Fans cry out for his autograph, but much to their chagrin Dylan blows past them until he hears a familiar voice yell out ‘No autographs for your fans, scumbag?!’ yelled out from the crowd. Dylan’s face nearly turns white as he drops his luggage and throws his sunglasses off just in time to get pelted with a right hand from Finch Maruta. Looking for payback for Dylan’s constant interference in his matches as of late. Finch gets the better of Dylan and gets a mounted position throwing down haymakers in between the forearms Dylan covered his face with in self defense. After only a few seconds of assault Hudson shows up and tries to pull Finch off of Dylan but has no success as he finally calls for help and the police now arrive and pull Finch off of Dylan before placing him in handcuffs.

Hudson challenges that move as Finch is being read his Miranda rights. Hudson asks if they’ve never seen pro wrestling before? The officer tells him that out here in a parking lot doesn’t look a whole lot like a wrestling ring, therefore this is assault. Hudson, with his face covered by his hands cannot believe what is happening. Dylan yells out, from a safe distance, that he plans on pressing charges making sure to wipe the blood from his lips as he continues into the building.

The officers then load Finch into the back of a squad car as Hudson yells through the window that he will try to figure this out. As we see Finch smiling out the window looking past Hudson and towards the entrance of the Palladium the scene fades to a Hudson at the announce table.

Fans going wild inside the Palladium as he shrugs his shoulders and explains that his assistant General Manager, Eryn, has been trying to get Finch out of the cell he is being held in so that he can be available for comment regarding his CWC United States Championship Match.

Jack ‘The Ripper’ Tillman vs. Lexxi D. Vine

After Lexxi made her way to the ring, letting all of the fans know that she is a loser she didn’t see much of anything besides the forearm and kicks of Jack Tillman after that for what probably seemed like an eternity to her. Tillman, still enraged that Lexxi prevented him from getting the pinfall over Rachel for the Television Championship, let loose a fury to begin the match that only calmed after ten direct kicks to the chest of his opponent until she dropped face first and rolled out of the ring.

It was there when Lexxi took advantage of her surroundings and grabbed the tights of Tillman tripping him up and forcing his head face first into the ring side steel steps. Lexxi climbed inside the ring hoping for the ten count but Tillman slid in at 9. Lexxi tried multiple times to pin Tillman using the ropes for leverage and even grabbing a handful of Trunks. Hudson notes he’s unsure as to how Lexxi became the Women’s Champion in Hollywood, but he’s pretty sure it had something to do with Cal-Berkeley.

Lexxi and the referee both duck a rabid clothesline from Jack who comes off of the ropes in rebound where the referee and Lexxi then both jump over Tillman as the crowd laughs and Tillman rebounds again this time recharged with a flying crossbody which gets ducked sending him crashing to the mat. The crowd chants ‘Now-thats-team-work’ to Lexxi who gets grossed out at the thought of being a team with the man nearly the age of her father and gives him the forehead L treatment as Tillman gets to his feet and shoves Lexxi aside to get in the face of the referee and ask him what the hell is going on?

Being the ultimate opportunist that Lexi is she ducks behind Jack and looks to deliver a lowblow that’s caught by Tillman who spins around and locks in ‘THE RECLUSE’ crippler crossface and wasting little time between the hold being applied and the bell Lexxi taps out immediately.

WINNER: JACK ‘THE RIPPER’ TILLMAN

Lexxi slides out of the ring as the fans cheer on Jack and we head to the back where we see Lizzie Jones outside of the trainers office taking a deep breath and opening the door to find her best friend, and Hollywood Pro Champion, Samantha Tolson getting her knee looked at by a doctor.

Liz asks the doctor if they could have a moment, and he obliges leaving the room. Sam pulls her kneepad back up as if nothing is wrong, until she gets to her actual knee where she winces a bit getting it over. Liz tells Sam that she doesn’t have to do this, she should take the week off. There’s no reason to push her injury when she just won the Hollywood Pro Championship. Sam thanks Liz, and tells her she can do this because there’s a difference between Injured, and hurt. She’s not injured, she’s just hurt. Sam does make Liz ‘bestie promise’ to focus on the leg of Corvin, in case he is the masked guy and next time the masked man strikes they’d be able to see him hobble. Liz agrees to focus on the knee for her ‘bestie promise’ but then makes Sam ‘bestie promise’ to be safe and not worry about Corvin because she has to deal with Dylan.

With a moment of awkward silence the both of them looked at Sam’s knee before she shrugged and tried to playfully laugh and tell her ‘I promise I won’t be not safe’. Liz helps Sam off of the trainer’s table and they briefly embrace in a hug before Liz leaves the trainer’s room and Sam shakes her head with worry in her eyes.

We go back to ringside where Hollywood Pro ringside announcer introduces us all to David Mendes already in the ring before all the lights go out and spotlights search the crowd before focusing on a man in a black leather vest who looks rather unkempt and extremely angry hop over the barricade. Belle tells us that this is Normal Blaecleah before Hudson explains Norman basically came up to him before the show when nobody was around and demanded a match. He also notes that he smelled like chewing tobacco and had a firm grip around his collar so he had no choice in the matter because Rex was busy.

Norman Blaecleah vs. David Mendes

As the bell rings David pays zero attention to Norman, and rather decides to hit on the rather attractive front row members of the Palladium. Normal charges into the corner and destroys David with a splash. A school yard beatdown ensues as Norman throws forearms, kicks, knees, chops, everything except the kitchen sink. Unless that’s what you call a back elbow, because he threw one of those too. Hudson notes that he’s glad he said yes to this match because he enjoys his good looks. David fights back catching Normal with an eye gouge and even manages to chop Norman into a corner at one point where he climbed to the middle rope and threw ten punches.

The ten punches didn’t seem to do much, as David hopped down to celebrate the assumed dazed state he had left Norman in he was quickly met mid ring by the horrific face of Norman grunting and breathing heavily. Now the cops and kicks that had previously backed him into the corner were of no use.

Quickly it was realized Mendes was sure to meet his fate as he mounted his comeback and instead of continuing with the quick strike offense that was sure to catch Normal off guard he tried to irish whip the stocky monster who would not budge and instead pulled Mendes into his body where he met him with a knee to his mid section and a DDT/Guillotine choke combination that would end the nightmare for Mendes..

WINNER: NORMAN BLAECLEAH

Norman holds on to the hold a little longer than would normally be allowed but breaks it with ease leaving Mendes in the ring gasping for air as the referee checks up on him. Norman then rolls out of the ring and grabs his jacket as the lights dim again and a spotlight follows him over the barrier, but not before he pauses to shoot a look over a Hudson who stops summarizing what we’ve just seen to make eye contact with the man who continues to disappear into the crowd as we go backstage.

‘What’s a good quote for this instagram picture?’ Eryn thinks to herself as her door is kicked open, as it regularly has been since Eryn has become assistant General Manager. Dylan Styles enters the picture with an ice pack on his lip that has clearly swollen twice it’s size. Dylan demands the night off and for a replacement ‘like that Sex weirdo or one of those Duff-tards’ to fill in for him while he heals up.

Eryn explains that she could probably call Hudson and say that a ‘former Hollywood Pro Champion who demanded his rematch on twitter refuses to try and earn it and wants it handed to him’ but she thought that he’d want to be different than the other people here. Eryn lifts her phone to her ear before Dylan grabs her wrist and removes it. He smiles through his teeth and explains that he gets her point. Eryn then reminds Dylan that anyone who gets a pinfall over a champion receives an opportunity for their championship. Dylan grows frustrated and asks ‘What about the injury to his lip’

With a couple swipes on her phone Eryn explains that the injuries to each of them basically make this an easy match. A perplexed look grows on Dylan’s face as he walks out confused wondering out loud ‘What kind of app is that?’

Lizzie Jones vs. Daniel Corvin

As the match begins Lizzie has a few choice words for Corvin accusing him of being the masked attacker of Sam Tolson at HPW 12. Corvin replies with nothing more than an eyeroll as the two of them meet in the middle of the ring. Lizzie slaps Corvin across the face and the crowd cheers. With a cocky nod Corvin returns the slap as the two of them then go slap for slap while the crowd chimes in with cheers for Lizzie’s slaps and boo’s for Daniel’s return slaps. Soon after Corvin uses his size advantage and shoves Lizzie across the ring who shakes it off and charges right back at him hitting him with a few precise strikes before she’s shoved to the ground again. Corvin doing his best to act as if the strikes don’t phase him shakes off his leg where Lizzie landed two stiff kicks.

Implementing his size advantage from there Corvin would take control trying to wear down Lizzie with multiple submissions she couldn’t break with the use of the ropes because of the No Disqualification rules set for the match that Hudson reminds us. She finds her way to the apron during a body scissors and pulls herself to the outside where Corvin soon meets her. Lizzie would throw more strikes and even buys herself some time by lifting Corvin up in an atomic drop fashion and dropping him on the barrier knee first. Lizzie uses this time to go under the ring where she finds a kendo stick and delivers shots to Corvin’s knee with loud CRACKS that the fans react to with loud cheers as she raises her hands telling them to be louder. Corvin gets to his feet while Lizzie swings hard looking for another shot but Corvin leaves his feet as her momentum leaves her vulnerable on a missed contact. Corvin grabs Lizzie by the hair and sends her viciously crashing into the barrier.

Shaking his leg out again Corvin picks up the kendo stick and is met with boos as he rains down multiple strikes to Lizzie’s back that immediately shows signs of swelling where the welts glow red. As Lizzie makes it to her feet Corvin stalks her, kendo stick in hand, before spinning with a modified backfist and the kendo stick cracks across the face of Lizzie who falls to the mats outside holding her face. The referee checks in on her and backs Corvin up who breaks the kendo stick over his knee before taunting Liz who shoves the referee away revealing her nose has been bloodied. Corvin grabs Lizzie and rolls her into the ring hooking the leg

One

Two

NO! Liz kicks out. The fans try to motivate her with a slow clap that grows quicker as Corvin mockingly claps along before going to pick her up and gets hooked into a cradle pin

One

Two

NO! Corvin kicks out and gets to his feet immediately delivering a big boot that sends Liz flipping inside out and laid out in the middle of the ring before getting another near fall that does nothing but add to his anger and frustration. Corvin would then set Liz up in the corner where he laid boots to her while the referee pleaded for a break that fell on deaf ears. Corvin pulled away when he decided he was done and raised his arms to a chorus of boos. Sliding out of the ring Corvin began pulling out multiple steel chairs from under the apron and throwing them over the top rope as Hudson noted the emergency medical staff is on stand by in case the blood flowing from Lizzie’s nose began interfering with her breathing.

This wouldn’t be the case as Corvin emptied all of the chairs into the ring he looked into the ring and was surprised by a sliding baseball kick that sent him backwards into the announcer’s table. Liz would recover quickly and sprint across the ring for momentum before flying through the ropes with a suicide diving elbow that would send Corvin tumbling over the top of the table. Wiping, rather smearing, blood across her face Lizzie picked Corvin up and dropped him hard to the mat with a snap suplex. Both competitors would lay there for a minute before they both climbed to the apron and exchanged slaps that grew into punches. Corvin rakes the eyes of Lizzie before hooking both arms and leaping off of the apron with ‘THE GLORIFIER’ spinning sitout facebuster to the outside.

A ‘HO-LY-SHIT’ chant begins to echo throughout the Palladium as Corvin uses the apron to stand up and lift a lifeless Liz before rolling her into the ring

One

TWO

THR-NOOO

Liz gets the shoulder up and the fans erupt. Corvin is beside himself as he backs the referee up into the corner and berates him telling him it was a slow count. Turning around to a dazed Liz who barely stands on her two feet Corvin cro-hops and spins looking for another spinning backfist as Liz barely ducks before kicking the back of his knee and hooking both of his arms from behind and hitting the ‘BOTOX BREAKER’ unprettier on one of the chairs Corvin had previously thrown into the ring.  She drapes her arm across Corvin

One

Two

NO! Corvin is out

‘THIS-IS-AWE-SOME’ now echoes through the crowd as the fans are on their feet. Corvin stands up first as Liz’s face is covered in blood. She throws multiple kicks to Corvin’s leg trying to wear the bigger man down before charging towards him looking for a flying knee but Corvin grabs her and throws her over his head to get out of trouble - BUT Lizzie landed on the middle rope and rebounds off hitting a rebound bulldog onto the pile of chairs.

She picks up one of the chairs from under Corvin and opens it strategically over the top of his back as he lay face down before hooking one of his legs and sitting back on the chair with a single leg crab. Corvin fights and tries to pull away but the chair has him trapped leaving him no choice but to tap out!!

WINNER: LIZZIE JONES

At the sound of the bell Liz lets go of the leg and falls face first to the mat holding her face as the blood pours from her nose and the cameras go backstage.

Walking through the hallway, dressed to impress as usual. Eryn has gotten tired of being scared half to death in her office and is instead near the Hollywood Pro wardrobe team discussing a project she's having them work on for the next Supershow. The familiar tone of a received text message chimes as Eryn picks up her phone and her eyes immediately widen. She holds her finger up to the women discussing fabrics to silent them before proclaiming ‘Hudson won't like this’

She puts the phone up to her ear and shows anxiety through her mannerisms as she anticipates the phone call going through but she scoffs at getting the voicemail after two rings.

‘Ew, the ignore button?’ With a disgusted stare at her phone Eryn vaguely notes Hudson will figure it out in a few minutes anyways

Non-Title
Dylan Styles vs. Samantha Tolson

The match began as Dylan Styles barely waited for the bell to ring and charged across the ring with a dropkick to the knee of Tolson. She rolled out of the ring but couldn’t stop the barrage of knee focused attacks that Dylan had in mind. Lifting her up in a catapult position he stood against the barrier and whipped her back and forth as she collided with the barrier on every half rotation. Hudson notes that not only is that dangerous for her neck, but the tension on her knee as she hangs from it. Efforting to stop the ten count before the referee could say NINE, Dylan only rolled in briefly before exiting again and and delivering a chop block to the bad knee of Tolson who tried to hobble away and buy herself some time.

She would find time to recover when Dylan pinned her leg between the steps and the ringpost with her knee exposed, he charged looking to throw the full force of his bigger frame directly into her knee but she moved and he ate the steel face first. Tolson rolls into the ring and tries to buy herself some time while shoving away the referee who continuously asks her if she wants to quit. Hobbling over to the ropes Tolson used them to launch herself over the top rope with a simple cross body taking Dylan out.

Tolson continued her slight advantage on the dazed Dylan Styles by delivering multiple strikes in the corner, her form of ‘NIHON E NO ODO’, briefly backing away to fire the crowd up Tolson then began slapping the chest of Dylan until the welts began to grow. The fans were on their feet as her arms twisted in windmills before she finally took a second to take a breather then fired her arms back up again but was quickly stopped by a counter boot to her face. But that didn’t stop her as she charged the corner again but was quickly disposed of by Dylan who hit a drop toe hold sending her crashing face first into the corner.

With the clear advantage Dylan hung Tolson in the tree of woe and delivered multiple forearms to the quad muscle above her bad knee. Backing up and playing to the crowd as they shower him with boos Dylan charges looking to hit a spear on the upside down Tolson but she pulls herself up as Dylan goes face first into the turnbuckle before rolling in pain on the canvas. Trying to move as quick as she can, and as tenderly as she can, Tolson gets to a standing position on the top turnbuckle looking towards the crowd before leaping off with a moonsault and landing it with perfection

NO! Dylan kicks out and Tolson grabs her knee from the impact of the moonsault, she tries to get to her feet while Styles is on one knee - wasting no time she runs over and grabs his head planting him with a snap DDT!

THR-NO!!

Dylan gets his shoulder up again and now Sam pounds the mat in frustration before using the ropes to stand up, she stalks Styles with a scowl on her face before slapping her knee telling it to wake up. As Dylan gets to his feet Tolson grabs and lifts him into the corner. She climbs cautiously behind him as he sits on the top rope facing the crowd, who now stand realizing Tolson is going for the ‘VICTORY DROP OMEGA’ top rope star drop. Leaving her feet she hooks hers perfectly and DRIVES Dylan into the mat holding on for the- WAIT NO!

DYLAN STYLES HAS A HOLD OF THE ROPES AND SAM IS TRAPPED

WINNER: DYLAN STYLES

Dylan throws his hands up in the air at the sound of the bell. Meanwhile Samantha Tolson crawls to the corner holding her knee, her eyes welling up near tears. Dylan is running around the ring as if he had actually won the Hollywood Pro Championship. Hudson stands up and waves the medical doctors over towards Sam who is sitting with her back now on the bottom turnbuckle rubbing her knee and shaking her head while she shoots daggers at Dylan who countered OR maybe just survived her move enough to get the pinfall.

Dylan hops through the ropes and grabs a microphone before walking over to the commentary table and demanding his ‘RIGHTFUL SHOT’ at the Hollywood Pro Championship. The crowd boos knowing he cheated his way to the victory but he throws his hands at them to say ‘forget about you’. Dylan then grabs Hudson by the collar and says he wants that Championship match ‘Right now God Damnit!’

The fans boo as Hudson waves it off, Dylan reaches back and balls his fist up with his target in his grasps before a female voice is heard over the speaker. Samantha Tolson has a microphone and she’s standing up nursing her leg. She agrees to the match and Dylan throws Hudson back into his chair before charging the ring and sliding in head first

Hollywood Pro Heavyweight Championship
Dylan Styles vs. Samantha Tolson

As the referee starts this impromptu Hollywood Pro Championship match Hudson tells the fans at home that this is Sam’s fault and not his if she loses her championship. The match began with the referee checking on Sam who stumbled out of the corner and nearly fell to her knee. Sam grabbed the referee by the collar and angrily told him to do his job.

Just then she was met with a big boot that sent her flying back into the turnbuckle where she stumbled out of. Dylan smiles to the crowd while pointing at his head as if he has a genius idea, that idea would be to slide outside and use the turnbuckle to try and destroy Sam’s knee. Throwing it into the post multiple times, each one with a little more speed and hate. Finally Dylan decided to end it and locked in a figure 4 leg lock using the ringpost outside as Sam let out a horrendous horror movie scream. The referee gave Dylan the DQ 5 count, which he followed and let go at four and three quarters. Sam crawled towards the middle of the ring while the referee focused on her knee and tried to turn towards the time keeper and call the match, but Tolson refused. Grabbing him by the collar again and yelling ‘You better fucking not!’ directly into his face through the pain.

Dylan walked around ringside shooting a wink to Hudson before his face looked like as if he had seen a ghost in front of him

FINCH MARUTA!!! Dylan shakes his head and looks at Hudson who literally shrugs and kicks his feet up on the desk, he wouldn’t get the chance to see Finch again, because before he could turn to see him he was LEVELED by Finch who used the ringside steps as a platform to launch himself from before planting a LOUD ‘SUPERMAN PUNCH’ across the jaw of Dylan Styles.

Finch rolls Dylan in and ducks underneath the apron holding his index finger on his lips to encourage the fans not to rat him out.

Sam finally sees Dylan barely moving inside the ring and without any questions asked, she drapes an arm over his chest

WINNER AND STILL HPW CHAMPION SAMANTHA TOLSON

Finch pops his head up and begins to clap as the referee hands the HPW Championship belt to Sam. She finally sees Finch and then looks back to Dylan and shrugs her shoulders to suggest it’s not her problem and she doesn’t mind. Finch hops over the barrier and gives a thumbs up to Dylan who is beginning to realize what happened and is NOT pleased with the result.

The camera goes backstage as Kenny Sex is seen walking through the hallways joking around with Duff Briggs, the both of them competed last week in a fatal four way and simultaneously hit some pretty impressive moves on their opponents Mendes and Lizzie Jones. Kenny seems as if he’s trying to convince Duff to be his tag team partner since there is an open spot in the #SUNSETGAUNTLET in the main event of the show. Kenny seems to nearly have Duff convinced before her convinced look turns to shock as Kenny gets blind sided and falls to the concrete. Norman Blaecleah has a metal pipe in hand and throws direct shots into the rib-cage of Kenny before pointing the pipe at Duff who backs up against the wall and slowly realizes there nowhere else to go. Norman raises the pipe and as he swings it forward his hands are empty. He turns to see Head of Hudson Security, Rex, with the pipe in his hand. He throws it to the ground as Norman has a sick smile on his face and raises his hands patiently stepping backwards and into the dark of the backstage as the camera turns to see Kenny on the ground writhing in pain. He looks up to where Norman once stood and his expression soon turns to anger

CHAMPIONSHIP WRESTLING COALITION PRESENTS
SIN CITY SHOWDOWN
JULY 29TH - FROM THE T-MOBILE ARENA IN LAS VEGAS, NEVADA

The crowd stand up as Belle has her microphone in hand preparing to announce the first two teams that will start the #SUNSETGAUNTLET, however they are distracted as Hudson notes his special guest for the evening from Pacific Northwest Wrestling, the Owner, Ms. Blanche Patton has accepted his ringside ticket. Hudson also notes she is fashionably late, but better late than never to see what makes the West Coast the Best Coast of CWC. Blanche nods with a slight grin to Hudson as he notes they will be traveling to Japan for the Seven Nights of CWC coming in August. Just then the first two teams make their way out, one after another as the #SUNSETGAUNTLET Main Event will finally begin.

The Sunset Tag Team Gauntlet
Team Hot & Trashy vs. Azul34 & Vertigo vs. WulfHammer vs. The Dragon Clan vs. Open Team

The Dragon Clan v. Azul y Vertigo

The Dragon Clan came out first and Eric had choice words for Hudson because of it. The second team out were Azul and Vertigo. A brief back and forth in the beginning between Eric and Vertigo proved to be enough to let Lyra and Azul give it a shot. Lyra got the upper-hand briefly because of a distraction from her husband Eric. Azul showed clear signs of anger and nearly took Lyra’s head off with a butterfly kick. As Azul was looking for the ‘BLUE ORCHID’ and a quick victory against the Dragon Clan, Eric sent Vertigo crashing into him to interrupt his signature move. This gave Eric time to toss Vertigo over the top rope as The Dragon Clan hit the ‘DRAGONFANG’ superkick followed by a ‘SOUL OF VENGEANCE’ devils lock DDT.

Azul was covered for the three, and was not pleased with Vertigo who tried to apologize as they made their way up the ramp. Azul also threw a shoulder into Wulf and Hammerstein as he split the two of them trying to waste little time getting to the ring. Vertigo tried to apologize, but Azul shoved him aside and disappeared behind the curtain as WulfHammer hit the ring

The Dragon Clan v. WulfHammer

WulfHammer slide into the ring simultaneously and begin to throw forearms and kicks to the Dragon Clan. Wulf and Hammer then clothesline their respective Donovan spouse over the top rope before Hammer gets down on his hands and knees near the ropes. Wulf pumps up the crowd then points to hammer who gives the thumbs up for launch and Wulf then used Hammer to launch himself over the top ropes and onto the Dragon Clan. Landing on his feet Wulf then jumped on top of the barrier as the fans applaud him. His hop the barrier would prove to be a poor choice as Eric would side swipe his leg and leaving him splitting the barrier between his legs ‘RACKED’ and stuck. Hammer tries to go through the ropes but is hit with the boots of Lyra, who was thrown with precision by her husband. Hammer then falls to the outside as Lyra landed on her feet, but only briefly stayed that way as she leaped off the apron with a dropkick to the chest of Wulf.

Her husband caught her, and the fans cheer their circus like efforts in the process. Eric rolls Wulf in and only gets a near fall. The two of them would do battle in the ring with neither one of them getting the upper hand until Wulf made a hot tag to a recovering Hammer. Hammer came in with clotheslines and elbows for the Dragon Clan. He told Wulf to do the launch one more time on Eric who was trying to recover on the outside and strategize with his wife Lyra. Wulf looks around the arena and smiles telling Hammer to get in position. Wulf runs and uses Hammer’s back to ju- NO!

Eric chopped the elbow of Hammer causing him to lose his base and Wulf awkwardly hits the top rope chest first. Eric pulls Wulf to the outside and sends him into the corner where the barriers meet, delivering a THUNDEROUS ‘IRISH UPPERCUT’

Meanwhile inside the ring Hammer has gotten to his feet and planted Lyra in the middle of the ring after ‘DROPPIN DA HAMMER’ with a modified stone cold stunner. Hammer covers Lyra

He looks around and notices the referee isn’t counting and is instead counting Eric out, Hammer getting the attention of the referee points to Lyra down in the ring and the referee tells him there was never a tag! The fans begin to boo acknowledging that WulfHammer should be the winners of this match.

Eric gets to the apron and Hammer tries to grab hold of him to suplex him in but Eric grabs the referee and LYRA HITS A LOWBLOW!?!!?

Hudson explodes at the commentary table saying he’s finally seeing what he wanted to out of the Dragon Clan. Hammer drops to his knees as Eric lines up a ‘DRAGONFANG’ superkick

WULF IS IN!

BUT GETS HIT WITH THE ‘ONIS BITE’ PUMP KICK!!!

The Dragon Clan v. Team Hot and Trashy

Eric efforts Hammer from the ring with his foot as if he was homeless on his lawn. Wulf sits on the outside holding his jaw completely shocked that he was damn near inches from just falling on top of the pinfall but instead was blasted upside his face.

The Shane sisters, also known as Team Hot & Trashy, make their way down the ring clapping sarcastically towards the Dragon Clan. Dakota and Montana play rock, paper, scissors to see who goes first and Dakota wins so she slides into the ring where Eric has tagged out and into Lyra.

Beginning a match with trade off headlock take down to leg scissors kick outs the two women begin to talk to one another hurling insults before Dakota calls Lyra a ‘fucking bitch’ which sets Lyra off as she goes after Dakota who dives into the corner and makes the tag to her sister. Lyra still paying attention to Dakota on the outside is blind sided by a mugging of forearms and shots to the rib-cage trying to take the wind away from an already tired Lyra, who had been in the match since the beginning.

If you had a quarter for every time Hudson said #SunsetGauntlet you would have been able to buy a 12 inch Subway Sandwich by now in this match as he tries his damn hardest to plug the hashtag and drive it into the viewers at home.

Montana and Dakota would cut the ring in the half and work on the body of an exhausted Lyra. Arm bar to body kick double team combos. Or just rapid tagging in and out while they stomp on her in the corner. Eric looks panicked on the other side of the ring wishing he could extend his hand all the way across the ring. Anything to get a shot at the Shane Sisters. Lyra finally climbed under the legs of Dakota and Montana and DOVE FOR THE HOT TAG!!!

BUT NO! Montana distracted the referee with a kiss on the cheek, vintage Hot and Trashy tactics. The referee backs Eric up into his corner as Team Hot and Trashy gouge the eyes of Lyra and hit a ‘SWEET SURRENDER’ leg sweep roundhouse combination!

Eric now uses the referee backing him into the corner to his advantage as his wife lay lifeless for longer than it would take the referee to count to three. Montana grabs the referee to get his attention and count the pinfall on Lyra

NO!!! Eric gets BACK into the ring and shoves the referee aside going directly for Dakota on the apron with a diving ‘IRISH UPPERCUT’

OH NO! Dakota pulled the top rope down and Eric is sent flying to the outside face first. Lyra looks on in horror and realization that her fate has been sealed as she sees two Shane sisters in the ring and tries her best to throw stiff kicks and forearms to each of them fighting them off - hopefully long enough for Eric to wake back up!

But ANOTHER eye gouge sends Lyra bent over in pain grabbing her eyes

ANOTHER ‘SWEET SURRENDER’ !! MONTANA HOOKS THE LEG!

WINNER: Team Hot and Trashy

The Shane Sisters celebrate as Eric slowly crawls in to check on his wife laid out in the middle of the ring. Team Hot and Trashy took advantage of the tired Dragon Clan and used the usual Shane family tactics that Hollywood Pro are used to seeing from the two. Eric grabs the referee by the collar trying to explain his case about what happened and how he needs to reverse the situation but the referee explains that he will uphold the decision made. Eric grabs the ring ropes in anger kicking them as Lyra makes it to her feet and places her hand on his back trying to calm him down but he refuses. Eric charges the referee who was leaning between the ropes ready to receive the championship titles and throws him from the ring. Eric then turns towards Dakota and charges her hitting a running Irish Uppercut that sends her crashing into the corner. Lyra looks on through the hands over her face as her husband stands over Dakota, Montana grabs him by the shoulder and spins him around slapping him in the face and asking him ‘Just who in the hell he thinks he is?!’

With a sick smile on his face Eric shakes his head and tells her ‘You shouldn’t have done that’ then grabbing her and hitting his patented ‘BLACK DRAGON’ gargoyle suplex leaving Dakota motionless in the middle of the ring. Lyra now with a wide grin on her face smiles as The Dragon Clan exits the ring leaving Team Hot and Trashy laid out. As they reach the bottom of the ramp they turn back towards the wreckage and smile as ‘DARE’ by the Gorillaz hits over the speakers sending confusion throughout the silenced crowd.

Hudson jumps up from his announce table position and screams out ‘NOO’ as Parker Brother’s Incorporated, a tag team from Pacific Northwest Wrestling appear from behind the curtain with a referee. Marty and Jesse explain their case that they’re taking the open invitation and the three of them make their way down the ramp. The fans are on their feet cheering now as they slide into the ring and give a thumbs up to Blanche who returns the thumbs up.

‘That backstabbing bitch!’ Hudson yells at the commentary table. Blanche stands proudly clapping as the tag team from her territory took advantage of the open ended tag team invitation that Hudson assumed would be picked up by two Hollywood Pro stars, unaware of Kenny Sex and his intentions that were thwarted due to Normal Blaecleah.

The Sunset Tag Team Gauntlet Final
Team Hot & Trashy vs. Parker Brothers Inc.

‘HO-LY-SHIT-HO-LY-SHIT’

The fans cannot believe what they are seeing, a clear path for Marty and Jesse, the Parker Brothers, a tag team not even signed to this territory, and they clear path to the Tag Team Championships.

Marty picks up Montana who looks confused as to who the two of them are, sending glances back and forth that soon turn to worry as the brothers wave at her but prevent her from going anywhere like schoolyard bullies. They quickly deliver their own ‘SWEET SURRENDER’ blatantly ripping the move from the Shane sisters. They high five and laugh as Dakota uses the ropes to stand but gets met with a ‘DOUBLE SUPERKICK’!

The fans go nuts as Hudson begins to scream ringside ‘NO NO NO PLEASE NO!’

Marty and Jesse playfully ask the crowd which one of the sisters is the legal one? Eventually they shrug their shoulders and pin them simultaneously while high fiving for every time the referee’s hand hits the mat

#SUNSETGAUNTLET WINNER AND NEW HPW TAG TEAM CHAMPIONS: Parker Brothers Inc.

PBI exit the ring and make their way towards Blanche ringside and exchange high fives as she congratulates the two. Hudson slams down the headset at commentary and storms over to where the three of them are. Pointing fingers and yelling obscenetities. PBI hand the HPW Tag Team Championship Belts over to Ms. Patton. The three of them make eye contact and look around at one another before shrugging in unison as PBI deliver a DOUBLE SUPERKICK to the jaw of Hudson Hughes. PBI then strike a pose with the Hollywood Pro Tag Team Championship belts over the lifeless Hudson Hughes as the scene fades.
