WEDNESDAY NIGHT WARFARE 2

LIVE FROM TEMPLE THEATRE – TACOMA, WA
WEDNESDAY – JULY 19, 2017

After the opening video package plays, we find ourselves in the Temple Arena as a camera pans over the fans. They are quiet, mostly, but a few murmurs can be heard here and there. Blanche Patton is in the ring, and she commands attention. The fans give it to her, and she begins to speak. Blanche says that Arcane walking out with the PNW Championship is a step in the wrong direction, and for a new promotion, it is completely unacceptable. She says that over the last week she has tried to secure the rights to trade for Arcane so that he can be a full time member of the roster, but that the ownership upheaval of CWC’s United Kingdom territory has complicated matters. Blanche pauses for a moment and gestures for the bellkeeper to hand her a briefcase. She says that when she worked outside of wrestling, she learned to always have a backup plan. Blanche opens the briefcase and pulls out a second PNW Championship. She says, as far as she is considered, until Arcane can be booked consistently, that he is a pretender holding the belt. Next week, four of PNW’s top wrestlers will be selected and a new champion will be crowned. The crowd pops, but Blanche hushes them. She says that she doesn’t know yet who the four wrestlers will be, and hopefully by the end of the night she can have a better idea of who truly deserves an opportunity like this. Her music picks up and the commentators discuss the revelation and debate over who the real champion will be.

Alejandra & Ben Kingsley vs. Dillon Taylor & Liam Callaghan

Callaghan and Alejandra found themselves in the main event last week and Kingsley and Taylor were moments away from getting there. These two teams make up arguably four of the most formidable wrestlers in the company, and it’s time to start off. Kingsley and Callaghan slide into the ring and lock up, ready to reignite the rivalry that began last week. Kingsley is able to swivel behind Callaghan, but he gets some elbows to the face for his work. Callaghan pushes him into his corner and makes the quick tag to Dillon before the duo work together to slam Ben down to the mat with a double suplex. Taylor pulls Kingsley up quick and whips him across the ropes, sending him down with a back body drop. Kingsley makes the tag to Alejandra, pissed that he didn’t start this off better for the team. Alejandra comes in and whips Taylor down with an armdrag and dropkicks him in the back of the head. 1…KICKOUT. Alejandra back up quickly and tries for the red, white, and green arrow – a superkick – but it misses and Taylor rolls her up. 1…2…KICKOUT. Alejandra levels Taylor with a clothesline and tosses him into the corner. Kingsley holds him back while Alejandra gets in some strikes. When Taylor falls forward, he’s caught with a fisherman suplex for the pin. 1…2..KICKOUT. Taylor reaches out for his partner, but Alejandra pulls him back and makes the tag to Ben. She holds him while Kingsley enters the ring and stomps away at Taylor. Callaghan is dying to get in the ring.

Kingsley gloats a little before slapping Dillon around a little. Kingsley gets him with the gutbuster that he calls “Stump” and hooks the leg shortly after. 1…2…KICKOUT. Dillon really needs to make a tag, but Ben slaps on a chinlock while talking some more trash to Callaghan. Dillon uses the fans to get his way to his feet, and then elbows his way out of danger. He manages to plant Kingsley with a big DDT and then tries to crawl over to his partner. TAG! Kingsley makes the tag as well! Liam and Alejandra rush into the ring and Liam takes her out with a clothesline, and then another. Liam is feeling the crowd behind him when he picks her up and slams her across the knee for the Celtic Breaker. He’s ready for the Beantown plunge when Ben Kingsley slides into the ring. The referee cuts him off and Liam goes to investigate, but his leg is pulled by Ben’s manager, Mia Miley. She screams at him and eventually gets him right in the eyes with hairspray. She screams “that’s what you get” as Ben notices the deed is done and backs out of the ring. Alejandra is on her feet. Red, White, and Green Arrow! The superkick connects, and she hooks the leg! 1…2…3! They stole the win! Kingsley and Alejandra quickly exit the ramp as Dillon Taylor slides in at the last second, unable to help his partner. The winners snicker until we fade to commercial.

WINNERS: ALEJANDRA & BEN KINGSLEY

After the commercial break we find Blanche Patton in the office with her General Manager, Tugg Porter. She asks him what he thought of the last match. Tugg says Kingsley and Alejandra look good, but at the end of the day they had to cheat to knock off Callaghan and Taylor, which speaks more highly of the losers in the match. Blanche says that winning at any cost should be priority, and says that maybe if Kingsley had qualified over Callaghan we wouldn’t have a missing title right now. Tugg shrugs as Caleb Adams steps into the room, brushing his hair back behind his ear. He compliments Blanche on her clothes, saying she looks fierce, but Blanche barely responds. He says that he came here because he wants to be in the main event four way match next week. Tugg tells Caleb that no one is getting a spot promised until the end of the show. Caleb turns up his nose and Tugg and turns back to Blanche. She repeats Tugg, and Caleb says that’s fine – he has a masterpiece to create in the ring tonight. Blanche’s head falls into her hand as we cut back to the ring.

Ava Tremblay vs. Jackson Fleck

Ava Tremblay is in the ring, and the rookie is looking outsized by a lot with Jackson Fleck, or J-Fleck, in the ring with her. The newcomer is flexing in the corner when the bell rings, and Ava charges forward. Fleck moves further into the corner and puts his hands up, telling her to chill out. Ava backs up, nodding, and gives him a flex of her own. Flex shakes his head and shows her how it’s done. Finally he moves out of the corner and the two lock up, and Fleck takes her down with a hiptoss and locks the headlock in tight. Tremblay manages to catch him in a headscissors, but Fleck reverses it. Both end up on their feet and Fleck levels her with a shoulder block before flexing. The two go back and forth for a while, but every time Ava gets rolling the side advantage begins to screw her up. Fleck impressed the crowd when he set Tremblay up on the top rope and nailed her with a dropkick that sent her falling to the outside.

More time passed and Ava was starting to get some momentum. She managed to plant Fleck with a DDT and it looked like it could be a real game changer. But on the pin attempt, Fleck got his foot on the ropes. Ava tried to finish him off with a german suplex but he managed to get out of it just in time and slam her back down with a stalling suplex. Fleck hyped up the crowd, but received a mixed reaction, before landing two hard clotheslines on Ava. Finally he pulled Ava into the full nelson and connected with #FLEXFRIDAY, an impressive cutter combination. He hooked the leg. 1…2…3! That was it, and Fleck is victorious in his debut match in PNW!

WINNER: JACKSON FLECK

In the back we cut to Oswald and Oswald watching Fleck celebrate in the ring. Iris asks if tag teams are eligible for the shot at the PNW Championship, because tools like Jackson Fleck shouldn’t even be sniffing the main event. Xavier folds his arms and admits that he doesn’t know the answer, but he does know that what happened to them last week was embarrassing. He says that they are a seasoned tag team, and they didn’t act like it last week. So, tonight, when they take on The Badd Breed, they need to make sure they don’t fall into the same traps. Iris says

Gear Society vs. Pike Place Collective

This match doesn’t last long at all. The former CWC World Tag Team Champions, The Gear Society, are out to prove that they deserve to be at the top of the tag team division once again. Gear Gamma absolutely rolls through Jax Levin with a big clothesline, and then picks him up just to slam him back down again with a military press. Asher is on the apron with his vape pen, frozen still. Gear Gamma pulls him into the ring and then hits him with a scoop slam. With the match completely under control, Gamma picks Asher up just before Agatha slides climbs into the ring. MECHROMANCY! The referee doesn’t even care that Agatha is in the ring. He gets down and counts the pin. 1…2…3! The Gear Society are victorious in decisive fashion.

WINNERS: GEAR SOCIETY

After the match, Agatha grabs a microphone and Asher’s vape pen while Gear Gamma stays put in the ring. Agatha observes Gear Gamma before saying that she changes she made certainly worked out well. Agatha says that over the last few months, The Gear Society have been lost in the fold, and changes needed to be made. She says that they will always improve themselves as the situation changes, and now, in a new tag division, they are going to have to be at the top of their game. She says that when the time is right, The Gear Society are coming back for their CWC World Tag Team Championships, and the PNW Tag Team Championships too. The wheels are turning in her head as she looks down at the vape pen, but their music begins to play and we fade to commercial break before we can find out exactly what she’s thinking.

KONSTANTINE vs. Veeka Manns

Back from the commercial break, both Konstantine and Veeka Manns make their entrances. Last week, Veeka was unable to qualify for the main event, and while Konstantine did, he came up short in the end. The two competitors circle each other and Konstantine is able to dominate the early part of the match, but Veeka fights back with a series of hard right hands and knees that show she’s as gritty as they come. Konstantine charged and Veeka swiveled around and was able to catch him with a german suplex. Veeka rolled to her feet quickly and was able to nail him on the back of the head with a running knee. She went for the pin. 1…2…KICKOUT! Veeka gave Konstantine some room, possibly setting up for her finishing spear, but Konstantine got up with a smile on his face. He shook off the cobwebs and went right back to work, catching Veeka in a headlock and pounding away with her with those stiff shots Veeka showed earlier. She pulled herself away, kind of shocked and embarrassed that Konstantine would want to engage her in a brawl. She wiped her lip and the two circled each other, and it looked more like a boxing match.

Veeka was able to box her way into a good spot, but she charged Konstantine and was seconds away from falling into the Midnight Murder Scene before she pulled herself out of the way. She put a big boot in Konstantine’s face and then caught him with a spear. 1…2…KICKOUT! Veeka got to her feet and was shocked that she wasn’t able to put him away, but she only ruminated on it for a moment before she charged forward with another knee to the back of the head. 1…2…KICKOUT. Konstantine is proving to be incredibly resilient. Veeka pulled him up in a suplex position and tried to get him up for the brainbuster, but Konstantine powered out of it and slammed her to the mat with a DDT. He was able to lock in the Garrote 47, but only for a moment. He landed wrong and Veeka was able to power out of it. She made her way to her feet and then charged Konstantine. MIDNIGHT MURDER SCENE! It happened out of nowhere, and Konstantine hooks the leg. 1…2…3! That’s it! An impressive win for Konstantine, and we may just see him in the main event next week. He rose to his feet with a smile.

WINNER: KONSTANTINE

Sam Decker is backstage with Dillon Taylor and Liam Callaghan. Both of them have a dejected look on their face, but as soon as Sam introduces them they perk up, ready to get something off of their chest. Liam Callaghan specifically calls out Ben Kingsley, saying that he may just be the biggest joke on the roster. Liam says that Ben likes to talk so much about his family and his pedigree, but really he should be thanking Mia for delivering him the win this week. Dillon says that if Kingsley’s bullshit tonight costs him an opportunity to compete for the PNW Championship next week, Kingsley will live to regret it. We fade to commercial break as the two partners from earlier tonight leave the interview area.

F.E.A.R vs. Parker Bros Inc.

F.E.A.R are already in the ring by the time we come back from commercial break, and Parker Bros Inc make their way out holding the HPW Tag Team Championships with a big pop from the fans. Marty and Jesse are in the ring at the same time, and Jesse moves to exit the ring and the bell rings. At that moment, Jesse rushes back in and he and Marty connect with a double superkick to Vine! Marty goes for the pin while Jesse takes care of Cody. 1…2…3! That’s it! Jesse and Marty celebrate while their music plays and the crowd gives them a great reaction.

WINNERS: PARKER BROS INC.

After the match, Jesse takes one mic and hands it to Marty while keeping the other for himself. They adjust the HPW Championships over their shoulders while Marty begins to speak. He says that they’ve been treated like movie stars since they won the HPW Tag Team Championships, and for good reason. He said they took a title before it was cool, and Arcane is just a poser. Jesse takes the mic and says that he watched HPW last night and saw The Dragon Clan and Wulfhammer pick up a big win. He says he’s proud of those two teams, but no matter what, they’ll never be good enough to take the HPW Tag Team Championships back home with them. Marty says that they are happy as champions, but feel left out of the mix. Tonight there is going to be a new PNW Tag Team Champion, and they don’t even get to have their fair shot at the belts. He says that’s BS, and the Parker Brothers don’t tolerate BS. Jesse says that they’ve talked to Blanche Patton, and next week they will get a shot at whoever wins tonight. Marty tells the other tag teams in PNW to cry it out before both of them drop the mic and hold their belts up high.

Caleb Adams vs. Rose

The bell rings and Rose wastes no time going right after Caleb Adams. She pushes him into the corner hard and then proceeds to land a flurry of body shots that force the referee to push her back. Caleb is really in bad shape, caught completely off guard, so he rolls out of the ring and decides to catch a breather. He probably didn’t expect Rose to follow him out there, but she did. She grabbed him by the hair and tossed him shoulder first into the steps. The referee was screaming at Rose to get him back into the ring, and she obliged by picking him up, ramming him into the apron, and then rolling him into the ring. She thought about going for the pin but decided to keep on the offensive. Rose pulled Caleb up and immediately dropped him down with a backbreaker. The fans were going nuts for Rose when she began tossing a series of closed fists at Caleb, the pretty boy barely managing to get his face covered. The referee pulled Rose back, telling her that she would be disqualified if she didn’t tone it down. Rose stepped back with her hands in the air, but immediately charged Caleb trying to kick him in the ribs. But he rolled her up! Small package! 1…2…KICKOUT. Rose was on her feet and swung wildly, catching Caleb across the jaw with a knockout punch. But Caleb had enough ring awareness to roll out of the ring before Rose could capitalize.

Rose once again gave chase, but this time Caleb greeted her with a thumb to the eye. He pulled her by the hair and slammed her face against the barricade, saying that this was the makeover he promised. Rose fell to the ground as the referee continued his count and Caleb slid into the ring. He leaned against the corner and Rose was able to get back into the ring by the count of eight. Caleb immediately charged her and connected with a slingblade. 1…2…KICKOUT. He put Rose in a chinlock but she clawed her way out. She charged him but met a boot to the face. Sunset flip! 1…2…KICKOUT. Caleb landed a series of hard shots before connecting with a slingshot senton bomb. 1…2…KICKOUT. Rose pulled herself up on the ropes, but Caleb grabbed her and drug her across the ropes. Rose staggered forward and Caleb tried for Looks Can Kill, but Rose locked her leg around his and was able to reverse into a suplex of her own. Caleb got to his feet and Rose slapped on the bearhug, but he punched his way out of it before it did too much damage. Rose charged forward with a lariat, but it missed. Rollup! 1…2…3! He stole it! Caleb fled the ring as Rose got to her feet, realizing what happened. He was halfway up the ramp by the time his name was announced as the winner, but a win is a win, and Caleb Adams could show up in the main event next week for the PNW Championship.

WINNER: CALEB ADAMS

Backstage outside of the locker room, we see Gear Gamma standing guard while Agatha uses a really small screwdriver to pry open the vape pen. She mutters to Gamma that this could be the kind of thing that turns it all around for them. Suddenly a plume of vapor covers the screen and Jax and Asher from Pike Place Collective make their way into the shot. Gamma stares at them while Agatha doesn’t break her concentration. Asher demands that Agatha gives him their vape back, because those things cost money. Agatha smiles and removes her strange looking glasses and tells Asher and Jax that this is so much more than a vape, it can be a powerful weapon. If they don’t stand back, she says, they’ll find out just how powerful it is right now. Jax and Asher look at each other and then charge Agatha. She pulls the vape to her lips while tossing the table in front of her to buy time. She exhales, a big green plume of vapor streams from her mouth. It covers Jax and Asher and they fall to the ground, screaming and holding their eyes. Agatha seems pleased that it works, and she instructs Gamma to follow her because she has an idea to make it even more powerful. We get the lingering shot of Jax and Asher crying on the floor.

Oswald & Oswald vs. The Badd Breed

This match features the tag debut of The Badd Breed, consisting of Valiente Dark and Mr. Misery as they take on Xavier and Iris Oswald. Xavier starts the match against Valiente Dark, the two lock up in the middle of the ring. Xavier takes down Dark, but Dark eventually is able to fight his way up to a vertical position and land some hard punches to the gut. He whips Xavier across the ring and meets him on the rebound with an outstretched leg that sends Xavier down. Dark locks in a tight headlock, but is eventually tossed down with a back suplex. Xavier lands some hard shots but Dark get to his feet, only to be knocked down with a strong lariat. Xavier pulls Dark into the corner and tags in Iris and the two double team him with some stomps. Iris begins working on Xavier’s arm for a while, but she is eventually pushed back by a hard chop and Dark is able to make the tag to Misery. Misery comes in hot with a few clotheslines and Iris is forced to tag back out. Xavier whiffs on a clothesline and is sent packing with a belly to belly suplex. 1..2…KICKOUT.

Misery takes the time to land some hard kicks to Xavier’s back before tagging Dark back in. Dark waits for Xavier to get to his feet and then catches him with a springboard crossbody. 1…2…KICKOUT. Dark pulls Xavier up but Xavier is able to battle out and tag in Iris. She comes in hot and nails Dark with a t-bone suplex. She and Xavier go to double team Dark but Misery is there to even the odds. He sends both himself and Xavier out of the ring. Dark catches Iris with a german suplex. 1..2…KICKOUT. Iris reaches out for the tag but no one is home. Dark tries for Dark Resurrection, but it misses. Iris is there with a dropkick to regain control. Dark is able to fight back long enough to make the tag to Misery, who rushes into the ring ready to put this one away, but Iris gets him with a thumb to the eye and it’s enough to give her room to make another tag. Oswald and Oswald try for their tag finish, but Misery fights his way out of danger. He sends Iris out of the ring while Xavier makes sure Dark can’t come back in. The two battle back and forth and Xavier gets the upperhand. Xavier is in position for the cop killer, and this time it connects! 1…2…3! Oswald and Oswald are redeemed despite a good showing from The Badd Breed in this one.

WINNERS: OSWALD & OSWALD

We find the Texas Wrecking Crew, The Technician and Mack Brody, in the back watching the monitor. Brody says that Oswald and Oswald looked pretty good, and he doesn’t understand how they could have been fooled so badly by Bane and Madsen last week. The Technician smiles and says that Bane and Madsen flew under the radar in this thing because they aren’t a real tag team, but they won’t be able to dupe everyone again tonight. He says that the goal tonight should be to make Madsen and Bane defeat themselves, because they are ready to turn on each other in an instant… they just need to be pushed. Brody asks what The Technician has in mind. The Technician says that they should keep Madsen and Bane separate for as long as possible, because one of them is going to boil over if they can’t get in the match. Brody nods and says he can make that happen. The Technician emphasizes that WE can make that happen. We fade to commercial break.

Alyssa Davies vs. Cali-Kate

Cali-Kate and Alyssa Davies circle each other in the ring as the bell sounds for the next match up. The crowd is clearly behind Cali and Alyssa begins to run her mouth telling Cali that she is nothing and that the fans can cheer all they want, nothing will change - she will still lose. Having heard enough, Cali wacks Alyssa with a massive forearm and begins to beat her into the corner. Alyssa comes quickly with a massive knee in the corner and then drags her back to the mat with a huge running bulldog. She quickly covers but only gets a one count as Alyssa is able to get the shoulder up. A couple big flying lariats connect from Cali and the “Geekette Extraordinaire” is on a huge roll as Alyssa can’t seem to get her bearings. Cali connects with a big shining wizard and covers again but Davies kicks out at two. She signals for “Starstruck” but Alyssa is able to fight through it. She rakes the eyes and the referee warns her to knock it off. Without her sight, Cali falls prey to a vicious assault from Alyssa. She hits a few vicious forearms on the back and then drops her with a DDT. She covers but Cali kicks out. Davies stomps away on the body of Cali and even uses the ropes to choke her. Again, the referee steps in and warns her and Alyssa looks pleased with her work. Cali begins to fight back, hitting a few jabs in the chest and then connecting with a step up enziguri. Alyssa is dropped down to one knee and Cali takes advantage with a shining wizard. She covers and it looks like she might have her but Davies again kicks out. As Cali picks up Alyssa, the referee moves in close to make sure she doesn’t have the hair. Alyssa sees this and pushes Cali hard and right into the ref. Down both of them go and Davies has her opening. She walks over to the furthest turnbuckle from the downed official. She peels off the covering, exposing the steel hook underneath. She has Cali and smashes her head off of it. But the referee sees it! He points to the turnbuckle and then to Cali and calls for the bell! He disqualifies Alyssa Davies and awards the victory to Cali-Kate and Alyssa is livid! She begins to kick the ropes and falls to her back, throwing a complete tantrum in the ring. We fade to commercial break.

WINNER: CALI-KATE (VIA DQ)

Back from commercial break, we find Alyssa Davies stomping through the backstage area until she arrives at the GM’s office. She pushes through the door and we find Blanche Patton and Tugg Porter both looking extremely stressed. Alyssa complains that the referee in her match was completely out of line and disqualified her for no reason. Tugg tries to calm her down, but she’s inconsolable. She says that this better not keep her out of the main event next week for the PNW Championship. Blanche says that everyone is on the table. Alyssa looks confused and frustrated. She asks if they have decided on ANYONE to be in that match next week, and they say that they haven’t come to an agreement. Alyssa says that she should be in the match because she eliminated the most people in the main event last week. Blanche and Tugg say nothing. Alyssa rolls her eyes and stomps her foot, declaring that this entire promotion is a huge joke! We cut down to the ring.

PNW TAG TEAM CHAMPIONSHIP
Texas Wrecking Crew vs. Alex Madsen & Luke Bane

The referee holds up the PNW Tag Team Championships as Alex Madsen, Luke Bane, and The Texas Wrecking Crew find their places on opposite sides of the ring. Mack Brody will start for the Crew, and Alex Madsen for his team. They lock up and Brody immediately begins landing hard clubbing blows across Madsen’s back, sending him down to one knee. A few more forearms later, and Brody pulls Madsen into his corner and begins landing a series of hard chops. He makes the tag to Technician who joins in on the fun with double stomps, keeping Madsen down. The Technician continues to work the back with some more stomps before stretching Madsen out. Bane is jumping up and down ready to make a tag, but Madsen is in the middle of the ring. He begins crawling his way over to his partner, but The Technician does what he said he would do and pulls Madsen back to the other corner and slams him down with a back suplex before making the tag to Brody. They get Madsen with a double suplex before Brody pulls Madsen up and tosses him into the tree of woe. He goes to the outside and begins pulling Madsen’s head to the ring post putting a lot of pressure on the back. The referee begins counting but Luke Bane is there rounding the corner of the ring and charging Brody. The Technician meets him with a clothesline and Bane is down! Brody continues to work on Madsen.

Brody finally moves back into the ring after a few more rounds of work on the back. He pulls Madsen up and drapes him across the knee before continuing to stretch him out. Bane is anxiously pacing around the apron when Brody slaps on a reverse chinlock. Madsen is fighting his way up to his feet as best he can. Finally he manages to elbow his way out of danger… or so he thought. He tossed himself into his corner but Brody caught him by the foot and pulled him to the other side of the ring. The Technician jumped inside and dropped an elbow right across Madsen’s back. Luke Bane had enough. He completely snapped and rushed the ring, taking down both The Technician and Mack Brody. Bane tossed Brody out of the ring and then went to work on The Technician, stomping over and over again on The Technician’s back before screaming “you wanna work the back, I’ll work the back!”. The referee had to push Bane into the corner, and Bane was really careful about not getting disqualified. The Technician was in a bad spot and Madsen was just beginning to get to his feet. Mack Brody rolls into the ring. RUNNING KNEE! Bane is fighting to get past the referee while Brody tosses Technician on top. Brody goes and tackles Bane, pushing him out of the ring! The referee turns and makes the count. 1…2…3! Bane gets back into the ring, but it’s too late. He lost his chance and he wasn’t even tagged in.

WINNERS: TEXAS WRECKING CREW
(NEW PNW TAG TEAM CHAMPIONS)

After the match, Bane paces around the ring as Madsen gets to his feet. The Texas Wrecking Crew are celebrating like they just won the World Series as they waltz up the ramp, their new titles in hand. Next week they defend against Parker Bros Inc., but right now everyone is watching what’s happening in the ring. Bane looks like he’s about to snap as Madsen gets to his feet. TWC watches on with big smiles on their faces, their plan working to perfection. Finally, DDT! Bane plants Madsen and then stands and looks over them. He continues to mutter to himself as we fade out.
