LIVE FROM HOLLYWOOD PALLADIUM – LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA
TUESDAY AUGUST 4TH, 2017

RINGSIDE
Hudson stands in the middle of the ring as the crowd boos him, which brings a smile to his face. He waits for them to calm down before welcoming them to Hollywood Pro 16: NO CLOWNING AROUND! A clear attempt to pander to the audience worked as they cheer and start a ‘HOL-LY-WOOD-HOL-LY-WOOD-HOL-LY-WOOD” chant.

He then thanks the fans for their support of, maybe not him, but the territory in general. Especially last week at OHM Nightclub where they were at full capacity for their biggest event to date. Hudson swallows a nervous gulp as he then addresses that the HPW Champion will not be here tonight, and that is because of the man he will now bring out so that he can explain himself.

‘Omen’ by Prodigy rips over the speakers as the lights dim and focus on Bryan Williams who made his way out to the ring with a smirk on his face. As the music faded Hudson put the microphone to his mouth to address the newest member of his roster but Williams snatched the mic from him and shooed him away back to his commentary table “Before something bad happens to you”

Williams ran down Hollywood Pro for being the red headed stepchild of Hollywood Pro and having practically nobody that can hold a candle to him. Williams then tells Hudson he knows he paid a good amount of money to acquire his contract, and that’s the only smart decision he’s ever made. Finally getting around to address Sam Tolson he simply says he did what was best for him and when he takes the title from her and stands over her body again like he did last week he will be doing what’s best for Hollywood Pro, whether they all like it or not.

Bryan Williams drops the mic and waves goodbye to Hudson as we go backstage

BACKSTAGE

We see Hammerstein sitting in a locker room holding his cell phone in front of him as he holds his hand over his mouth in surprise as his tag team partner, one half of WulfHammer walks into the locker room. Hammerstein stands up and holds his phone up to Wulf who returns Hammer’s look of concern with a sheepish shrug.

Hammer asks if what he’s seeing on the internet is true and Wulf is leaving Hollywood Pro. Wulf says he’s done all he could in Hollywood. He was HPW champ and has been approached to travel across the globe to Australia to compete in Outback Pro in hopes of becoming the first member of CWC to be a heavyweight champion in two territories. Hammer looks distraught and asks Wulf what about the inflatable WulfHammers?

Wulf said he’ll always remember WulfHammer and that it will go down as some of the most fun he’s ever had in the ring. He extends his hand in an offer of peace and Hammer shakes his head for a moment and tells Wulf to “Bring it in for the real thing”

The two men embrace in a hug as Hammerstein pats him on the back and tells him he’s got to do what’s best for him, and not to worry about Hammer because he’ll be fine here. Wulf tells him he has to go and leave Hollywood Pro on a high note beating Buckley, but he’s sure he’ll see Hammer around. Wulf leaves the room as the happiness Hammer showed for Wulf disappears.

“See you soon, bud”. Hammer shakes his head leaving the locker room behind Wulf.

Trevor Buckley vs. Wulf Erikson

Wulf comes out to the Palladium chanting ‘PLEASE-DONT-GO-PLEASE-DONT-GO” and he bows his head to each side of the ropes to thank the crowd for the sentiment. Buckley is out next and before the bell rings he extends his hand to Wulf and says he’s honored to be his last match in Hollywood. Wulf obliges and sha- WOAH. Buckley with a cheap shot on Wulf to start the match. Working Wulf over and into the corner with refusal to give him a chance at a breather until the referee breaks them up momentarily, but Buckley spins around the referee and delivers a corner dropkick to Wulf as he tries to recover. His head bounces off of the turnbuckle with a sickening thud as Buckley quickly drags him to the middle of the ring and hooks the leg

Wulf kicks out. Buckley continues to control the match as Wulf can’t seem to shake the cobwebs out. Wulf gets his chance at a breather when Buckley tries to land a faceplant hurricarana, but it’s countered by Wulf who wastes little time landing a flipping leg drop to Buckley. Wulf gets to a corner away from Trevor trying to recover from the onslaught he has been the victim of since the opening cheap shot of the match, however he realizes now is the time to capitalize and sprints across the ring nailing Trevor with a leg lariat and gets to his feet locking in a belly to back grip around Trevor’s waist. The fans cheer knowing Wulf is going for his three german suplexes and count along. 1! 2! 3- NO Wulf let go of the grip with a high release and Buckley landed on his feet and quickly hooks the arms of Wulf and hits a tiger sup- NO! Wulf also lands on his feet! He delivers a kick to the lower back and then grabs Trevor in a dragon sleeper before turning his finger in a tilt-a-whirl motion. He picks Trevor up and begins to swing him with the ‘CAROUSEL DEL CRUELTY’ !

The crowd loudly counts in unison as he makes his rotations

THR-WHAT THE??!

Hammerstein pulled the referee from the ring?! WHY?! Wulf looks at the referee on the outside of the ring yelling at Hammerstein, who just smiles at Wulf. Wulf yells at him asking him why he’d do this?! WHY?! Wulf gets to his feet and reaches through the ropes demanding the referee come back into the ring because Trevor is still down. Hammerstein holds his hands up innocently and walks backwards up the entrance as the referee slides back into the ring a split second too late as he missed Trevor Buckley kicking Wulf below the belt! Wulf crumbled to the mat where Buckley grabbed his legs ‘WHAT GOES UP!’ catapult into the corner ‘MUST COME DOWN!’ he hops to his feet and hits a jumping neckbreaker on Wulf!

As the bell rings Hammerstein slides into the ring with a chair as Buckley leaves the ring as soon as he can, holding his hands high in the air celebrating his victory. Hammer points to Trevor telling him to get the hell out of here as he turns and pats Wulf on the back thanking him sarcastically and delivering a CHAIRSHOT TO THE HEAD! The fans rain boos down on Hammer who allows a sick smile come across; sending the chair crashing down on the back of Wulf repeatedly. Hudson screams for security to get down to the ring, and as the officialy slide into the ring they separate Hammer and send him to the back. Walking backwards up the entrance and staring at the chair in his hand that he just used to decimate his former tag team partner, Hammerstein yells back towards the ring that “It’s always all about you isn’t it?!”

BACKSTAGE

The camera opens backstage as we see Kenny Sex pacing back and forth in the parking lot with a lead pipe in hand, similar to the one Norman used to bludgeon both him and Duff Briggs last week. Speaking of Duff, she runs up screaming Kenny’s name and begging him to get back in the locker room so that they can talk about this.

Kenny refuses, telling Duff that he doesn’t mind a little violence and can dive to Norman’s depths of hardcore if he needs to send a message. What really bothered him was the way he attacked her and left her for dead last week. Duff tries to grab the pipe from Kenny who pulls away and tells her to go back into the locker room or help him find Norman. She refuses to be a part of this and walks away as Kenny smacks the lead pipe on the concrete of the parking lot screaming Norman’s name; telling him to come out and take this beating like a man.

CWC WORLDWIDE SHOWCASE
Jack Tillman vs. VINE from F.E.A.R

The crowd gave Jack ‘The Ripper’ Tillman the hero’s welcome home, and for the first time he actually cracks a small smile during his entrance and gives a head nod to the fans. VINE is out second and as the bell rings challenges Tillman to a strike fest, which looks to be a bad choice. Tillman delivers a barrage of forearms, kicks, and punches leaving VINE backed into the corner. Tillman smiles again, taunting VINE by punching his own jaw. VINE comes out swinging with a haymaker, too slow. Tillman ducks and again absolutely picks VINE apart with a combination that ends in a front kick to the chest of VINE who flies into another corner as if this were Sparta.

Tillman hops up and down mid ring begging VINE to come get another round, VINE shakes his head and instead is hands up in the air looking for a test of strength. Tillman looks towards the referee who shrugs, but Tillman agrees. Once the two hands are locked VINE fulls TIllman down, and places his feet into his midsection trying to execute an overhead throw using his feet, But Tillman lands on his feet and executes a quick double stomp to the chest of VINE who rolls out of the ring.

All smiles, Tillman asks VINE for another test of strength and instead VINE slides into the ring and tries to catch his foot with a baseball slide drop toe hold, Tillman hops over the attempt and throws a kick. Vine evades the kick and rolls up Tillman with a school boy

NO!

Tillman rolls through the roll up and has VINE trapped with his arm between his legs, he’s gunna start snapping fingers! The crowd hushes on cue right as Tillman snaps the index finger of VINE, and has plans to continue until he sees CODY, the other half of PNW’s F.E.A.R walking down the ramp. Tillman rolls on the mat with a seamlessly effortless transition on VINE into the ‘THE RECLUSE’ VINE refuses to take any more of this embarrassment and taps out!

WINNER: JACK TILLMAN

As the bell rings CODY slides into the ring, angry at VINE’s failed attempt to take out Tillman and get the victory. He surprises Tillman with a forearm as the two members of F.E.A.R gang up and begin to beat Tillman down as he covers up and tries to block some of the shots. The fans begin to boo as they gets Tillman in the corner and stomp him into submission. VINE picks Tillman up looking for a Samoan Drop for the first half of their tag team finisher as the fans erupt in a unison of cheers as FINCH MARUTA runs down the entrance and slides into the ring. ‘SUPERMAN PUNCH’ to CODY who drops and rolls out from under the bottom rope. VINE drops Tillman and walks into a ‘DOUBLE KNEE FACEBREAKER’ from Finch but it doesn’t drop VINE as VINE stumbles into Tillman trying to shake the cobwebs out enough before he lifts VINE up and hits ‘THE MARTYR’ brainbuster onto his knee!

CODY pulls VINE from the ring to prevent further damage as the two of them retreat and Finch checks on Tillman who assures him he’s fine. Finch pumps the crowd up and raises the hand of the victorious Tillman.

BACKSTAGE

Felix is backstage, looking impatient as Matt Bellamy arrives and flirtatiously says hello to Felix who rolls her eyes. She asks Matt if he’s ready to fill in for her because she has a doctor’s note again to clear her from competition. Matt asks if her neck is okay and she looks confused for a second before she remembers to hold her neck and tell him it’s still a little shaky. She thanks him for being such a strong hero. Matt asks Felix if they’re still on for that date once this is all said and done, to which an annoyed Felix says only if they carry out the plan to perfection.

Matt smiles and says he’ll take care of everything before leaving the scene as Felix shakes her head and says, “It’s almost too easy”

RINGSIDE
"Hurricane (Arty Remix)" by Halsey is heard on the speaker as the Hollywood Pro Television Champion arrives to a less than favorable reaction, but she couldn’t care less. Rachel makes her way to the commentary table as Hudson thanks her for coming down ringside for a close up view as we find out who the number one contender to her title will be.

TAG TEAM WINNERS WRESTLE A SINGLES MATCH
Dylan Styles & Hammerstein vs. Lizzie Jones & Matt Bellamy

Felix shows the doctor’s note to Hudson again as she stands ringside and sends Bellamy in to take her spot for the second week in a row. Bellamy and Hammer start the match as the fans boo Hammerstein who throws his hands at them to make sure they know he doesn’t give a shit what they think. Hudson asks Rachel what team she’s rooting for and she says not one of those people in the ring deserve a shot at her and she can beat them all, so she doesn’t care. Hammer pummels Bellamy at the sound of the bell, backing him into the corner and delivering chops to his chest. Some fans chant the usual ‘WHY-WHY NOT’ during the chops but Hammer tells them to shut up as Bellamy staggers out of the corner and Hammer kicks him in the gut looking for his stunner finisher but Bellamy shoves him away and hits a roundhouse kick to the back of his head. He falls to the mat and crawls over to the corner where Dylan Styles is flirting with a woman at ringside and slaps Dylan on the back, which doesn’t sit well for him. But he enters the ring and ducks a dropkick from Bellamy before catching him as he tries to get back to his feet with multiple strong style kicks to his chest. Dylan picks Bellamy up and throws him into the ropes, as Bellamy comes back he hits a wheelbarrow bulldog in the middle of the ring quickly covering Dylan

ONE

TW- NO!

Dylan kicks out. Bellamy takes Dylan over the corner where Liz is and tags her in holding an abdominal stretch as Liz throws a stiff kick to Dylan’s ribs. These two know each other well which is obvious as Liz throws multiple stiff kicks to his legs that he tries to block by slipping behind the referee using him as a human shield. As Liz tries to maneuver around him Dylan slips out from behind and hits a huge clothesline turning Liz inside out. Dylan flashes a smile and laughs to himself before motioning to Rachel that he’s coming for her title before turning back towards Liz and slapping her in the head as she tries to get up. Dylan tries that one too many times as Liz grabs his arm and locks her legs around him taking him down and locking in the ‘TAP,BITCH!’ seated fujiawara arm bar. Dylan writhes in pain, but only for a moment as Hammerstein comes to the rescue with a diving forearm to Liz. Getting up, and admiring his handy work a little too long as he’s bent over talking trash to Liz, Hammer doesn’t see Bellamy on the apron as he pulls himself to the top and lands a ‘SPRINGBOARD HOUSTON HANGOVER’. Bellamy tosses Hammer over the top rope as Liz locks in the ‘TAP, BITCH!’ arm bar for a second time on Dylan! The fans chant ‘TAP-BITCH-TAP-BITCH-TAP-BITCH’ as Rachel Redding takes off her headset and gets up from the commentary table to come to the apron. Liz releases the hold and dares Rachel to come closer to the apron so she can rip her head off Rachel walks around the ring reaching for the bottom rope a couple times.

Meanwhile Dylan tags in Hammerstein. Hammer gets in the ring and spins Lizzie around kicking her in the gut and hitting the ‘DROPPIN DA HAMMER’ stunner on her. Hammer taunts the crowd and picks Liz up, he signals for one more time, his new aggressive nature is clear as he wants to make this hurt. Liz is barely standing as Hammer passes up the kick to grab her head and slowly turn around ‘DROPPIN DA HA- WAIT Liz falls shoves him away and falls back into her corner where Bellamy slaps her shoulder and ducks a clothesline from Hammer inside the ring; he runs to where Dylan is and hits a huge dropkick sending him crashing outside into the barrier. He turns around and sprints towards Hammer hitting an enzigurri. Bellamy’s eyes widen as he realizes his opportunity and heads to the nearest corner. 450 SPLASH! Bellamy hooks the leg!

She pounces on top and lands some precision ground and pound on Liz as Hudson is shocked and disgusted. Rachel applauds the brains of Felix standing at the top of the entrance.. The referee separates Felix and Lizzie asking Liz if she’s able to wrestle the match and Liz tells him to ring the damn bell for the start.

Felix slides out under the bottom rope and Matt Bellamy tries to hug her, but she palms his face and pushes him away. She acts as if she’s exhausted after wrestling a marathon match and narrowly escaping with a victory. Lizzie is on her knees in the middle of the ring with her fists clenched as she glares at Bellamy ringside, then towards the entrance just in time to see Felix Hartley blow her a kiss before heading towards the back.

Lizzie points to Bellamy, a scowl on her face as she reaches her feet. Bellamy yells that he didn’t know that was going to happen and follows after Felix up the ramp. The camera zooms in on an enraged Lizzie Jones with Rachel Redding standing at the entrance in the background of Felix and Bellamy clapping and laughing.

BACKSTAGE

We open backstage again and see Kenny walking through the halls of the Palladium as he hears a sound in the distance and charges towards it, his lead pipe still in hand. He kicks over the backstage interview area, rarely used anyways, and finds Norman waiting for him with a spear into the wall. Kenny held onto the pipe and lands it across the back of Norman sending him to retreat a bit. Kenny charges after him finding another opportunity to hit Norman with the pipe and throwing him into the wall.

Kenny throws knees and punches to the head of Norman trying to take him out before grabbing a hold of the ‘privates’ of Norman with a testicular claw he calls the ‘BALL CLAW’. He doesn’t have a hold of it for too long before officials break it up and get between them. Kenny tries to fight off the officials, but Norman retreats down the hallway given the slightest opportunity. Kenny screams down the hallway that he’s a dead man for what he’s done and he’ll be backstage next week and every week until Norman meets him in the ring like a man. Norman is finally out of sight as Kenny picks up the lead pipe and turns around to see a frightened Duff Briggs who turns around and walks away from him.

Bryan Williams vs. Melissa Reeves
The match begins with a elbow collar tie up, Williams goes behind with a wrist lock and cranks on it putting pressure on Mel’s ligaments. Mel stomps the foot of Williams and reverses it going behind Williams now with a lock as he scrambles for the ropes and a break. Williams has a few choice words for the referee and how a foot stomp is even legal. Mel is in the middle of the ring and the two meet with another elbow collar tie up, Mel gets a headlock and wrenches it in as Williams backs into the ropes and shoves her off as she comes back and he stands strong with with shoulder block sending Mel down. Now Williams runs off the ropes and looks to drop an elbow but Mel slips out of the way and locks in a front headlock on Williams, this time taking time to throw a couple knees to the top of his head before he extends his foot to the rope nearby and the referee gives Mel the count of five before she releases the hold. Williams gets to his feet and smiles at Mel who looks confused as they look to tie up for a third time but Williams fakes her out and delivers a kick to the mid section followed by overhand clubbing forearms to the back. He hooks her up and delivers a suplex that he rolls through and doubles up on before sliding over top

Mel kicks out. Williams picks her up and hoists her onto his shoulders looking for a the firemans carry neck breaker but Mel lands on her feet and hits two low kicks before floating over and driving Williams down with a DDT. She hooks the leg but only gets a nearfall. Hudson notes Melissa hasn’t lost a match yet in 2017 and Williams might be her biggest test to date. Mel takes a second and uses the ropes for momentum before leaving her feet and delivering a knee drop to Williams who instinctively slides out of the ring to buy himself time. The referee begins to count as Williams tries to recover but Mel flies uses the ropes to jump over with a flying cross body. Immediately getting to her feet she slides Williams back in looking to pin him but he narrowly escapes again under the bottom rope. Mel, clearly frustrated gives chase to Williams who baits her in and throws her into the steel steps before delivering a couple of foot stomps and placing his foot across her throat. Williams picks her up by her hair and whips her into the ringpost but Mel slides in under the ring post and to the outside again, her hands on the ringpost she uses the momentum to swing around and deliver a front dropkick. Williams crashes face first outside, and Mel hops on top of him locking in the crossface. The referee’s count reaches seven and Mel releases the hold and rolls Williams in hooking both legs

BACKSTAGE
A, sober, assistant general manager Eryn sits at a desk as the door flies open and nearly scares her half to death. Lizzie Jones walks in breathing heavily and leans over with her hands on the desk. She asks Eryn if she saw what happened out there and demands to fight Felix one on one. No more doctor’s notes and no more bait and switch. Liz tells Eryn she knows damn well Felix doesn’t deserve to be the number one contender.

Suddenly Rachel Redding walks in with a big smile on her face as Lizzie moves away from the desk and goes towards Rachel who moves behind Eryn at the desk. Lizzie tells Rachel she’s nothing but cheap trash and can’t beat her one on one clean and she knows it. Rachel says she’ll probably never find out because she’s not the number one contender, but to get to the back of the line and try harder next time.

Eryn tries to chime in multiple times but is interrupted by either Liz or Rachel before she lets out a horror flick style scream startling both women. Eryn smiles noting that she’s glad she can have their attention now, she recognizes Felix’s cheap ways and makes a match next week. Felix Hartley one on one with Lizzie Jones, the winner will be the true number one contender. Rachel smiles as Liz seems pleased as well going to leave the room before Eryn clears her throat in protest noting that the match will be no disqualification and if Felix doesn’t compete she will be stripped of the number one contendership. Now Liz leaves the room as Rachel pats Eryn on the shoulder telling her she did a good job, but Eryn tells Rachel that she will also be in action next week one on one with Matt Bellamy and if he wins he will have a rightful opportunity to also be added to the Television Championship match.

Rachel leaves the office in a huff as Eryn smiles.

RINGSIDE
In the ring is Hollywood Pro newcomer Lukas Jacobs with his wife Arianne. Lukas explains that he is grateful for being signed to Hollywood Pro, but it was the obvious choice seeing as he is the chosen A-List star that this territory needs. Lukas notes that to show is gratitude he is going to give one lucky fan a chance at fifteen minutes of fame inside the ring.

Lukas scans the crowd insulting a few ‘basement dwelling pigs’ in the front row before picking an older man to come to the ring. His hair is salt and pepper and his face shows years of weathered age. Lukas asks him what his name is as he gets to the ring, but pulls the microphone away from him telling him that his name won’t matter unless he can beat Lukas. He calls for a referee to come to the ring, as the referee turns to signal for the bell Lukas kicks the man ‘below the belt’ while the referee had his head turned. The bell sounds and Lukas hasn’t even taken off his floor length leather jacket before grabbing the older man and hitting his headlock driver he calls ‘THE DIRECTORS CUT’

Lukas makes short work of the older man before getting back on the microphone and taunting him. His wife even delivering a few slaps to add insult to injury as another newly signed Hollywood Pro talent ANDRE HOLMES hops over the barrier from where he was sitting and slides into the ring. He stalks Lukas waiting for him to turn around and charging Lukas hitting the ‘DEADLINE TRAP’ yakuza kick!

But it barely connects allowing Lukas to get out of the ring, holding his face. Arianne escorts him back up the entrance as Andre checks on the older fan making sure he is okay.
