LIVE FROM HOLLYWOOD PALLADIUM – LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA
TUESDAY AUGUST 8TH, 2017

PRE-SHOW
We open outside to a sunny Palladium parking lot. Hudson Hughes, dressed in his best suit, stands with his arms folded awaiting the arrival of of his latest signing. The CWC Tag Team Champions Nikolas Thoreau and Flynn James. He’s clearly growing impatient, taking multiple looks at his watch now and audibly exhaling. Even going as far as to ask ‘Where the hell are they’ out loud.

Suddenly a raucous amount of noise can be heard coming from behind the building that startles Hudson, after the past month who could blame him with CWC Worldwide coming up. Hudson tells the camera man to come with him and they quickly make their way around the building as the sounds grow louder. Hudson gets a close up view of what’s happening before the camera does, throwing his hands in the air in disbelief. As the camera man catches up we see the last Kings Road Pro Openweight Champion with two men in headlocks as he stands on the throat of another man. All of this is in front of his trailer where he set up an autograph table and a cooler full of beer.

Hudson screams at Sullivan to stop it before he gets sued, meanwhile Nikolas and Flynn arrive and have a laugh behind Hudson before they head inside.

Andre Holmes vs. Trevor Buckley

The show kicks off with Trevor Buckley, who Hudson notes has been turning heads as of late and certainly impressing him. Hudson is also quick to state that by no means is he underselling Andre Holmed, he signed him for a reason and that’s because he’s a champion talent untapped to the CWC world. Buckley and Holmes go through a feeling out process as the evenly sized men trade headlock take down, head scissors, kip up escapes. Andre claps and holds his hand out to give credit to Buckley, but he slaps it away. Andre tells him to have it his way and feints a possible tie breaking elbow collar tie up only to slip out to the side and hit a drop toe hold. Andre transitions on top of Buckley into a modified Kimura as Buckley scurries to the ropes to break the hold.

Buckley, clearly frustrated kicks the bottom rope and draws Andre in only to duplicate the dip under to drop toe hold that Andre had previously done. Buckley, instead of a submission like his opponent, opts for a standing shooting star press to the lower back of Andre! He rolls Andre up looking to end it quick, but only gets a near fall. Andre, on one knee has a slight grin on his face as Buckley talks trash from a safe distance in the ring before charging Andre who ducks a clothesline, but Buckley uses the ropes to spin around in a west coast pop style stick to get Andre as he turns around but Andre catches his feet! He pulls him from the ropes and throws him over his head with an exploder suplex! Andre hooks both legs looking to end it quickly but Trevor also kicks out at two.

Buckley quickly gets to his feet as Andre throws a forearm, Buckley ducks and grabs a hold of his waist lifting him up in the air for a german supl- NO Andre lands on his feet and hooks both arms of Buckley in a full nelson before driving him into the mat! Passing up the opportunity for the bridge, instead Andre immediately gets enough distance to stalk Buckley waiting for him to get to a knee so he can deliver his ‘THRUST KI- WAIT?!

Arianne Jacobs is on the apron and yelling at the referee?! Andre makes his way over to the apr- NO LUKAS JACOBS grabs him from behind and hits the ‘DIRECTORS CUT’ headlock driver! Lukas grabs Buckley and lifts him to his feet before exiting the ring. Ariane hops down from the apron as Lukas makes his way around the ring towards her. Inside the ring Buckley has Andre by his legs and catapults him into the turnbuckle before hopping to his feet and meeting him on the rebound to complete the ‘WHAT GOES UP’ and ‘MUST COME DOWN’ combination hitting a neck breaker.

Buckley slides out of the ring and gives a thumbs up to Lukas before he and his wife slide into the ring and stands over Andre Holmes; who is out cold. Lukas chases the referee from the ring and his wife hands him the microphone she demanded from Belle at ringside. Lukas says his special guest on 15 Minutes of Fame this week is Andre Holmes. Lukas holds the microphone to Andre’s mouth who says nothing, after taking big moves from both Lukas and Buckley before the end of the match.

Lukas tells Andre that he wishes he would at least show some gratitude for being on the show, but he’s clearly more the silent and stupid type. The fans are booing heavily, annoyed that another match in Hollywood has been interrupted. Lukas asks Holmes what it’s like to be attacked from behind and how does it feel to get laid out at the Palladium? Grabbing his wife, Arianne, by the hand he lays a deep kiss on her as they pose over Andre Holmes

BACKSTAGE
“So...yet again another castoff from some other territory in the CWC thinks they can come to The Palladium and lift the HPW Undisputed Championship from my waist.”

Samantha Tolson stands in the women’s locker room inside the historic building, dressed for her match later in the night, that very championship around her very waist.

“This time, it’s Jay Gallagher. A castoff in board shorts from the closure of King’s Road, I believe it was. Regardless of the promotion that, unfortunately, did cease operations, he’s waltzed into Hollywood thinking he’s the one with the combination that will unlock this championship from my grip.”

“That’s cute, Jay. Real cute.”

“See, Jay, what you discount is that better than you have come through The Palladium and tried to take this title from me. All have failed.”

“Daniel Corvin, Sativah Nevaeh, and Bianca Davis all thought they would beat me to become the first HPW Undisputed Champion.”

“Dylan Styles thought he could destroy my knee and take it from me.”

“Daniel Corvin, again, thought he could do the same thing.”

“Bryan Laughlin, Bethany Driver, and Bryan Williams revealed themselves as the ones who attacked me, yet when faced with the proposition of having to face me in the ring, they’ve disappeared.”

“Are you getting the hint yet, Jay?”

Samantha grins wickedly.

“Many have tried. All have fallen at my feet. Yeah, I’ve taken my lumps along the way. I’ve been beaten up, beaten down...I’ve lost a few here and there...had damage done to this left knee of mine…”

Samantha looks down at her left knee, and the large black brace still serving as a target.

“...but the bottom line is when the championship is on the line, no one in HPW is better.”

“No one. And certainly not someone who couldn’t perform well enough to keep his former company from going under.”

“What makes you believe you’re better than the rest, Jay? What gives you the confidence to think you can get done what no one else has been able to do since the moment I won this belt?”

“Because you say so? Every single person who’s come after this championship has said the same thing.”

“Because I have an injury? Three people have tried now. Two failed. One took his ball and ran home rather than face me.”

Samantha smirked into the camera.

“Regardless of your reasoning, the fact of the matter is that this title belt? It’s going to stay around my waist for a long, long time. Near as I can tell, I’ve already set the record for days as a champion in this company. I’m going to put that record out of reach before I’m done.”

“But you? You seem to think you can interrupt that. With nothing to prove it other than the words you throw out on Twitter.”

“See, Jay, this isn’t Twitter, where random idiots can declare you a winner just because you say so. This is professional wrestling, where if you want to succeed, you actually have to get it done inside the ring.”

“Tonight, Jay, we’re going to see whether or not that’s the case.”

Samantha waves at the camera, grinning widely.

“See you out there. Don’t forget your board shorts.”

Rachel Redding vs. Matt Bellamy
As the match began Rachel wasted no time from the sound of the bell going after Matt with hard, quick strikes backing him into the corner. Matt had no choice but to cover up and take the shots that got him by surprise. Rachel is pulled away by the referee but charges back in for teh corner enzigurri that Matt evades rolling from the corner. Rachel is vulnerable sitting across the top turnbuckle as Bellamy pulls her down into a tree of woe and runs to the adjacent corner for momentum before charging in with a cross bod- NO Rachel sits up and Bellamy crashes into the corner awkwardly.

Adjusting herself Rachel turns to stand on the middle rope and shrugs her shoulders waiting for him to get to his feet. She sarcastically claps and tells him good job as he turns around and leaps from the corner with the ‘EYE OF THE ST- NO! Matt hits a dropkick in mid air and Rachel crashes to the mat. Bellamy hooks both legs quickly

TH- FOOT ON THE ROPE

The young Matt Bellamy didn’t pull Rachel far enough away from the ropes to finish off the television champion. Quite a bit of damage has been done so early in the match and that’s evident by how slow Matt gets to his feet to pick Rachel up. Two forearms and a huge standing dropkick with elevation sends Rachel back down as Bellamy goes for a quick pin but only gets a near fall two count. He applies a headlock trying to wear Rachel down who battles to get to one knee and throws elbows into the midsection of Bellamy until he breaks the hold. Rachel runs off the ropes with a front dropkick to Bellamy sending him face first into the mat as he struggles to recover quickly but not quick enough as Rachel is already off the ropes again and is now in mid air with a double stomp to Bellamy as he’s bent over. She rolls him over and rubs her forearm into his face as she pins him

NO! Bellamy kicks out. Rachel argues with the referee that it should’ve been three as she hooks the leg this time pinning him again but getting the same near fall result. She gets to her feet, grabbing Bellamy by his hair but he fights her off and creates enough separation to throw a roundhouse ki- NOPE Rachel ducked it and hits a forearm to Bellamy’s lower back then follows it up with kicks to the back of each one of his legs and now he’s on his knees. Rachel off the ropes to Matt’s back then the ropes adjacent to them picking up plenty of momentum as she hits a full speed shining wizard with a sickening thud that sends the Palladium crowd into a frenzy. She rolls her eyes and tells Matt that this is where she leaves him as she gets to the corner again, but something catches her eye. It’s Felix Hartley at the top of the entrance. Hudson stands from his commentary position and yells to her to go into the back and that Hollywood Pro has had enough of this distractionary wrestling trash. Felix quickly puts Hudson on the ‘pay no mind list’ since she’s far enough away to ignore him. Felix is motioning around her waist to Rachel points to Bellamy in the ring and tells her to watch what happens next.

But what happens next is Matt Bellamy charges into the corner and quickly scales the turnbuckle jumping up to lock his legs around Rachel’s head and sending her crashing to the middle of the ring with a hurricarana!

The fans begin a ‘BELL-A-MY-BELL-A-MY’ chant as his eyes widen in realization and he uses the ropes to stand up and climb to the top of the nearest corner. ‘450 SPLASH’!! He hooks the leg

WINNER: MATT BELLAMY

Bellamy throws his hands up in the air celebrating. He’s jumping around the ring as Felix tells him they have to go now and he bails from the ring. Rachel, having dragged herself into the nearest corner, is holding her midsection still feeling the effects of the 450 and staring daggers into Felix as she blows Rachel a kiss for her troubles. Bellamy, acting as if the distraction from Felix had nothing to do with the outcome of this match, is trying to slap high fives on his way back up the entrance having earned a pinfall victory over the TV champion as we go to the back.

BACKSTAGE
Kenny, with his cell phone in hand, paces back and forth in a locker room somewhere in the back of the Palladium. Suddenly the door opens and Duff walks in with a kendo stick in hand. Kenny immediately starts to shake his head and grabs the kendo stick from Duff and tells her she has to stay back here and lock the door. He knows Norman is around here somewhere and he wont be able to focus on giving Hammerstein what he truly deserves if he knows his friend is in trouble. Duff argues with him and tries to grab the kendo stick back, but Kenny pleads with her to please listen to him. Duff finally concedes and agrees to stay put in the back with the door locked. Kenny thanks her and says directly after the match he will meet her right back here.

Kenny Sex vs. Hammerstein

Hammerstein entered first and during his entrance, with his music still playing, Kenny made his way through the crowd and hopped the barrier next to Hudson grabbing a steel chair to take with him. Kenny slid into the ring and as Hammer stopped at the bottom of the entrance to take in the boos from the Palladium fans he is met with a rude awakening of Kenny diving through the ropes with a steel chair that connects with the head of Hammerstein. Kenny then mounts Hammerstein and grabs him by his hair and throws right hands directly into the forehead of his opponent busting him wide open. Kenny then bites the forehead of Hammerstein and rubs the blood from the cut into his hair. The Palladium is chanting ‘FUCK-HIM-UP-FUCK-HIM-UP-FUCK-HIM-UP’. The chant brings a smile to Kenny’s face as he shrugs in compliance and goes to throw more right hands but instead is met with a thumb to the eye and a headbutt from Hammerstein as he shoves Kenny off of him. Hammerstein gets to his feet and grabs a drink from a fan sitting at ringside and enjoys some for himself before spitting the rest into the face of Kenny and throwing the half full cup into the stands showering the fans with whatever was left. Kenny is trying to re-gain his sight as Hammer meets him by the apron and throwing his own right hands into the face of Kenny before grabbing him by his hair and throwing him into the ringside steps.

Hammerstein goes under the ropes and pulls out a table and slides it into the ring. He turns back to where he left Kenny and is shocked to see him balancing on the barrier before leaping off and hitting a dropkick that sends Hammerstein down to the mat. Kenny grabs the steel chair from the beginning of the match and sends it into the back of Hammerstein to the cheers of approval from the fans. Then, as if Kenny has snapped, He turns the chair upside down and begins to drive the top of it into the mid section of Hammer over and over again until he is forced to slow down from exhaustion. Kenny picks Hammer up and rolls him into the ring; he drapes his arm over Hammerstein

ONE

NO! Hammerstein kicks out and Kenny is in shock. Instead of wasting more time he climbs the nearest corner and delivers a ‘FALLING HEADBUTT’ that further opens the cut on Hammerstein’s head. Kenny then makes his way over towards the table and sets it up in the corner before going over to pick up Hammerstein by his blood stained hair and drags him over to the table setting him on top of it. The fans begin to stir as we hear horror movie screams of terror coming from the crowd. Kenny quickly realizes that it’s Duff’s voice as he looks into the crowd and sees Norman holding Duff Briggs over his shoulder as he kicks and screams. Norman waves to Kenny who goes to get out of the ring but Hammerstein kicks the middle rope as Kenny is straddled over it sending it directly into his groin. Kenny falls to the mat as Hammerstein grabs him by the legs and spreads them delivering two more downward stomps to the groin of Kenny. Hammer mocks Kenny telling him he’s no Sex man now.

The fans begin to boo as Hammerstein lays Kenny across the table before scaling the corner and leaping off with ‘THE LAW OF GRAVITY IS JUST A SUGGESTION’ moonsault through the table!!!

Both men aren’t moving, but Hammer is still on top of Kenny.

Norman shakes his head in laughter as he walks out with Duff still struggling to get away over his shoulder as the referee checks on both bloodied men inside the ring.

BACKSTAGE
Felix is standing with Bellamy, he asks her if she saw the way he hit the 450 splash and if she’s porud of him. She humors him and says she is, but more importantly if he remembers what he’s supposed to do tonight? Bellamy says he does and begins to recite the plan back to Felix, but she tells him to shut up and not say anything too loud, because people might be listening and this is their secret pact.

Bellamy asks at what point during all of this does he get the date that she promised him if he helped her through all of this. She says not until the Television Title is around her waist, which stops Bellamy in his tracks as he asks what if he’s the TV champion now that he has a shot. Felix pats Bellamy on the shoulder and laughs telling him she never knew he was so funny.

Lyra LeVeux-Donavan w/Eric vs. Dakota Shane w/Montana

Lyra and Dakota go face to face as the bell sounds and Dakota quickly begins pointing the finger at Lyra who slaps her hand away. Dakota shoves her and the finger pointing escalates to Dakota driving her finger into the chest while she accuses Lyra and Eric for the bad luck that the Shane sister’s have experienced in the recent past. Lyra rolls her eyes and shoves Dakota telling her this is a wrestling match and not a debate. Dakota obliges Lyra and slaps her across the face, but Lyra just smiles shakes her head telling Dakota that she shouldnt have done that. Dakota winds up to deliver another slap but Lyra ducks it and lands a high speed roundhouse kick to Dakota that sends her down and rolling across the ring. Lyra goes after Dakota who is on her backside and sliding towards the corner, but as Lyra bends over to grab Dakota her own momentum is used against her and Dakota pulls her face first into the ring post.

Dakota is pleased with herself as he gets to her feet while Lyra holds her face and taunts Eric telling him that he’s garbage and daring him to get on the apron so she can slap him too. Eric shakes his head slowly and smiles before telling Dakota to look behind her, but before she can Lyra hooks both of Dakota’s arms and lifts her up over her head delivering the ‘GATE OF SOULS’ snap bridged dragon suplex!

TH- NOPE!

Dakota kicks out and backs into the corner where Montana checks on her and tells the referee to make Lyra back up because Dakota is clearly injured. Dakota is holding her wrist and crying out in pain as Lyra tries to charge into the corner again but the referee stops her and forces her to the other side of the ring. Dakota has tears streaming down her face as Montana yells at Hudson that they don’t even want to be here and now he’s ruined Dakota’s life. The referee tries to check on Montana as the Hudson leaves the commentary booth to check on Dakota and make sure she’s alright. In the middle of the ring Lyra begins to show actual remorse, the Dragon Clan handle their matters in the ring, but they try their best to stay within the rules of the competition. Eric isn’t buying it, he walks around the ring to find out the actual severity of the injury and he runs into Hudson who pleads with him to not get involved. Montana stands behind Hudson and screams at Eric asking him who the hell he thinks he is questioning the severity of an injury. The referee leans outside of the ring and gets Hudsons attention, asking him what the proper decision for the match should be as MONTANA LOW BLOWS ERIC on the outside with a direct kick and plants him with a DDT!! Hudson and the referee are in shock as Dakota reaches into her boot and pulls out a can of hairspray and sprays it into Lyra’s eyes who realizes this was all a ruse from the beginning and had gone to attack Dakota. But now Lyra is blinded and Dakota gets up and hits the ‘MKO’ ace crusher on Lyra and demands that the referee count to three as she lays her knee across the throat of Lyra.

WINNER: DAKOTA SHANE

Just when the fans had thought they’d seen it all tonight Dakota escapes under the bottom rope as Eric slides in trying to grab her, but barely misses her boot. Lyra is out cold in the middle of the ring and Eric lets out a loud scream before pointing to the Shane sisters who have made their way over towards Hudson near commentary table. They slap the headset out of his hands and begin screaming at him that he deserves this for booking them after they told him they don’t want to be here. The two of them corner Hudson, shoving him back and forth between them like schoolyard bullies before the crowd begins to stir and Rex appears behind the barrier startling Dakota and Montana who back away quickly and try to make their way up the entrance. The first time we have seen Rex in two weeks since he was hit by the car the Shane sisters were driving. Eric Donavan immediately leaves the ring and meets them at the entrance and suddenly the Shanes are pinned with nowhere to go before they hop the barrier and make their way through the crowd at the Palladium shoving fans who get in their way.

BACKSTAGE
Hudson, finally getting his headset back on, says he got a text from assistant General Manager Eryn that something is going on backstage, a possible update on where Norman is taking Duff. As we go backstage Kenny is stumbling through the hallways screaming Norman’s name, he shoves the door open to the parking lot and sees Norman standing behind Duff with a firm fist full of hair. Duff is bleeding from the mouth and is barely awake enough to see Kenny, when she does she screams at him to watch out.

But it was too late, Hammerstein was hiding to the side of the parking lot door. He grabs Kenny and throws him face first into the driver’s side window of the nearest vehicle in the parking lot. An old pick-up truck that has a trailer attached to the back of it. Hammerstein continues to beat Kenny down as Norman laughs from a distance wish his hand over Duff’s mouth. Suddenly the door to the trailer opens up and we see John Sullivan wiping the drowsiness from his eyes. Quickly realizing what’s happening he grabs a beer bottle and smashes it against his door creating a jagged sharp edge and scares Hammerstein away waving it like a knife.

Sullivan checks on Kenny, who’s face is covered in blood as Norman drags Duff away in the background.

#1 CONTENDERSHIP TV TITLE
Lizzie Jones vs. Felix Hartley

At the sound of the bell Lizzie storms across the ring making it clear that she wants a piece of Felix Hartley after last week, but Felix ducks out of the ring and walks around the barrier flipping her hair at fans and exhausting the count of the referee to 8. She says she’s ready now as she stretches out on the ropes and and meets Liz in the middle of the ring for an elbow collar tie up, Felix hits a duck under and slides out of the ring again. Liz backs the referee into the corner and tells him that he better get her ass in here right now or she’s going to go out there and deal with this. Bellamy attempts to chime in, having accompanied Felix down to the ring and Liz kicks the ropes near him and tells him to shut his mouth because he’s next.

Felix is now posing on the commentary table in front of Hudson who reminds her that she has a match for the number one contendership currently taking place. Felix rolls her eyes and calls Hudson a beta-male before getting off of the table and sliding into the ring. Liz refuses to waste any more time and runs across the ring slamming a shoulder into the midsection of Felix and backing her into the corner where she thrusts the shoulder into Felix until the referee separates them. Liz palms Felix’s face and shoves it away which is returned by Felix spitting in the face of Liz. Knowing better than to shove the referee Liz spins around him and dives into the corner hitting an elbow that staggers Felix long enough for Liz to get to the second rope with a handfull of her opponent’s hair and pulls her into position to deliver a tornado DDT in the middle of the ring.

Felix gets the shoulder up but Liz quickly transitions into a mixed martial arts style side position and throws knees into the side of Felix while holding onto her body for momentum until the referee breaks it up, but Liz goes back at it again with the same knees as Felix grabs the bottom rope and manages to slide out of the ring again. Except this time she’s not alone. Liz is outside and cuts her off before she can find time to recover, which sends Felix back into the ring with a positional advantage as Liz slides in and is met with a double axe hammer to her neck followed by various slaps and forearms from various unpredictable angles. On commentary Hudson notes that this night has been more about fights than it has been wrestling.

Felix stands up and flips her hair to the crowd, making time to blow Liz a kiss as she struggles to get up. Felix creates space between her and Liz before she charges Liz and looks to hit a good old fashioned field goal kick, but Liz gets out of the way and hits a hip toss and diving elbow drop combo on Felix as she returned.

NO!

Liz tried a quick leg hook pin, but Felix got the shoulder up. As Liz gets to her feet she notices Matt Bellamy running around the ring and looking behind him in terror. Liz turns to see what he’s running from and it’s Rachel Redding holding her mid section and slowly stalking Bellamy as he tries to plead his case. Rachel doesn’t want to hear it and picks up the pace now chasing Matt around the ring who slides into the ring and pays no attention to what’s going on around him as Rachel slides in after him and sees Felix get to her feet. Rachel turns to Felix and throws a stiff right hand as Liz throws a knee into Bellamy and hits her ‘REVERSE DDT’ The referee has no choice but to call for the bell.

WINNER: NO CONTEST

Lizzie is still paired off with Bellamy and begins to tee off on him after the reverse DDT with her trademark MMA knees; clearly looking for payback from last week as Rachel has Felix pinned in the corner and is stomping away at her. Hudson gets on the microphone and demands that this stop right now. The four refuse to stop and continue brawling, as the distraction of Hudson allowed Felix to get the upperhand, but only for a split second as Liz tore herself away from Bellamy and used the back of a downed Rachel to hit her springboard Bulldog. Hudson orders Rex to get into the ring and break things up, he follows orders pulling them off of each other and sending them each to a corner. Rex stands in the middle of the ring as a barrier along with the referee while Hudson states that the TV title scene is an absolute cluster fuck, and since he can’t find a number one contender in time for CWC Worldwide he’s going to put the four of them in a fatal four way match at CWC Worldwide where the first person to get the pinfall wins the TV Championship. Rachel is irate due to the odds being stacked against her, Bellamy is the only one smiling, while simultaneously recovering from those knee strikes because he’s getting his first big break.

BACKSTAGE
Jack Tillman and Finch Maruta are backstage talking strategy for their non-title match against the CWC Tag Team Champions. Finch notes that he isn’t exactly a tag team wrestler, but when he saw Tillman at a disadvantage last week he had to do something for the pride of Hollywood Pro. Tillman thanks Finch for the save and says if there’s anyone on this roster he’d want to team with it would be Finch, and he returns the sentiment noting it’s going to take a special team to get back the tag team championship belts and tonight they have the chance to prove that they’re just the guys to get the job done because win or lose they have something the majority of this roster lacks… and that’s Pride.

Nik stands up and ducks a Superman Punch from Finch catching him around the waist and rolling him up with a bridged pin for a near fall.

Finch pops out and claps telling him he liked that, Nik shrugs and thanks him as the two men lock up again and Nik has a headlock advantage that is gone quickly as Finch throws him into the ropes and jumps over a returning Nik before falling to his back with perfect timing catching his two feet in the gut of Nik and throwing him up and over to his back. Samantha Tolson vs. Jay Gallagher

Sam and Jay spend the majority of the first couple of minutes feeling each other out, as they’ve never met in the ring before and she hasn’t had the chance to see Jay in a CWC ring. The same could be said for Jay but he clearly has paid enough attention to know Tolson has had a bad leg for quite awhile because he throws a couple of kicks towards it at the start. Sam checks his kicks and shakes out her leg not showing any signs of impact if there was any. Jay tries to throw another kick but it’s sidestepped by Sam who throws a kick of her own the leg Jay was balancing on and he falls to his backside. Sam charges with another kick but he falls to his back and kips up to his feet with a smile on his face. Trying not to let the Hollywood Pro champion shake him at all Jay lunges forward to tie up with Sam but she gets a hold of his arm and hits a Japanese arm drag that is followed by another one as a frustrated Jay got to his feet and let his emotions get the best of him. He retreats a bit to the corner as Sam smiles from his across the ring still in position for a fight with her hands up.

Jay shrugs and tells Sam she’s good, she’s too good. He extends his hand to shake hands and Sam scoffs at him looking around at the fans in a ‘can you fucking believe this guy’ kind of way. That gave Jay just the split second he needed to dive forward with a chopblock to the knee of Tolson. Jay stands over Tolson and tells her he was kidding and that she’s not actually good at all. He slaps her across the face and asks her who looks stupid now before holding his hands up, his cockiness leaving him open for Sam to deliver an upwards thrusting kick to him as he bent over to pick her up. Jay staggers back and Sam gets to her feet and goes after Jay with stiff kicks and a headlock take down. Jay tries to roll through it and get to his feet but Sam is there again and hits a snap DDT before hooking a half nelson and rolling him over

TW-NO!

Not even a two count as Jay gets his shoulder up, Sam uses Jay’s hair to effort him off of the mat and drag him into the corner. Sam puts her forearm into his throat and asks him if he still wants to throw kicks? Jay manages to get out ‘Fuck you, bitch’ through the forearm choke. Sam shakes her head and says wrong answer before backing up and teeing off on Jay with the ‘NIHON E NO ODO’ aka Ode to Japan rapid fire kicks to Jay’s legs that seemingly leavin him broken in the corner until he hops up and Sam’s leg is caught on the rope. Jay then uses the rope to leave the mat and lands with a double knee to the upper thigh of her bad leg. Sam falls to the mat, but her leg is still caught in the ropes. Jay again uses the ropes to leap up and crash down this time with a double stomp to her upper thigh. Sam screams out in pain and Jay wastes no time picking her up and propping her up in the corner as he backs up before charging her and hitting the helluva ‘J-KICK’ kick. Sam crumbles to the mat and Jay wastes no time in hooking the leg.

THR- JAY HAD HIS FOOT ON THE ROPES

The referee happened to glance up and he saw Jay was using the ropes as leverage and he kicked his feet off. Jay gets in the face of the referee and begins to argue before then choosing to roll Tolson to the outside of the ring. Jay whips Tolson into the steel steps as the referee begins to count

Jay separates the ring steps and slips Tolson’s leg in-between them before he climbs to the apron and dusts his feet off in preparation to jump from the apron and double stomp the steps, sandwiching Sam’s leg between them.

Jay uses the ropes to springboard up in the air but then lands back on his feet on the other side of the ropes inside the ring  laughing and pointing at the crowd who thought he was going to actually do that.

WINNER: JAY GALLAGHER

Jay Gallagher demands the referee raise his hand as he laughs to himself pointing to his head. He’s outsmarted the Hollywood Pro Champion and due to Hollywood Pro rules, now owns an opportunity to face Samantha Tolson for the HPW Championship. Hudson notes that this isn't exactly the kind of night he had hoped for, but a at least they nearly have the CWC Worldwide line up ready. Jay leans over the ropes and yells at Tolson who her her Hollywood Pro Championship grasped firmly to her chest as she leans up against the barrier. He tells her the only reason he didn’t do it was so there was a piece left for him at CWC Worldwide. Sam yells back that Jay should’ve done it, because now he’s a dead man. He motions around his waist and tells Sam she shouldve seen the look on her face as the scene fades to black.
