![]() LIBERTY PRO WRESTLING PRESENTS... LIBERATION: EPISODE ONE LIVE ON SATURDAY, AUGUST 12, 2017 FROM THE HAMMERSTEIN BALLROOM IN MANHATTAN, NEW YORK EARLIER TODAY… Becky Balfour: One nation...indivisible, with LIBERTY and justice….for all. Becky Balfour is standing in the center, to her left and right are fellow members of #TheSociety, Seth Lawless, Warren Corbett, and the man that most only know as Larclan. In the far background are ‘The Followers’. The alley the group is in looks dirty, but they don’t seem to care. Becky Balfour: Liberty is fitting, but justice? What is justice? Is it wrestling in a company where our own opponents slander us, pretend that we are invisible, or that we are no viable threat to winning a match? Is justice being ridiculed day in and day out by people who pretend to know what we stand for? What is justice? Seth smiles as he looks at Becky. Her words struck him as strong. He took a deep breath as he walked back and forth in front of their followers. Seth Lawless: Beck, it doesn’t matter what those fools think. I don’t care what the “Pride of Portugal” says. We are going to walk out there and we are going to win. But I have a question. Am I getting paid for this or is it like that other company? He shrugs his shoulders and laughs a bit at the subtle dig he made. Seth Lawless: I kid, I just want some food. Larclan steps up to the right of Seth, looking straight ahead, dead-eyed. The silence in the alley quickly broken as he looks up at the sky. Larclan: Justice? In this world there is none. In this world there is only mindless people who “believe”. Believe in what exactly? That things can get better if you try? Work your way to the top? Cos’ the only thing the outsiders should “believe” in… is The Society. See, after we defeat you three, especially the “PROUD ONE”... I shall set off on my own mission, to bring the Rocky Mountain Championship where it rightfully belongs. With us. So for those three fools who stand in our way I only have this to say: SAVE YOURSELVES! Stepping away from Seth, Larclan leans back first against the alley wall. Becky looks to her left and right at each of her ‘family’ members. Becky Balfour: Vitor, the Pride of Portugal said on Twitter that he couldn’t speak about his teammates because he doesn’t care about them. He then said he could beat us with one hand tied behind his back and with no partners. Funny. You three are thrown together. Exploring an unknown partnership with a disastrous fate awaiting you. Us? We are family. While you three struggle to gain the spotlight for each other, we will work as a team. A shot at the championship later in the night is on the line, and everyone knows that there is strength in numbers. When we get past Vitor, Tyler and Emily, we have the advantage of entering the main event together, fighting for one prize, a prize that I know any of us would be fine with another member of #TheSociety winning. Becky steps forward, dropping to her knees in front of the remaining three members of the group. Becky Balfour: We don’t get the credit we deserve. We don’t get the recognition we crave, but we do have your attention. Can you hear us now? Seth smiles, and Warren can be heard chuckling slightly, before he opens his mouth for the first time. Warren Corbett:Warren Corbett: For once, the ones who never had a voice - the ones that nobody listened to - they’re being represented. Before I met #TheSociety, and heard their message, I thought I was alone in this world. I thought I’d always be treated unfairly. I’ve learned my place in the world, being with my family, and spreading the message far and wide. We stand for the “lost”, the “broken”, the “weak”. No longer will I remain voiceless, no longer will WE remain voiceless. Warren stepped back, spreading his arms to show the amount of people that had gathered there. Lawless cracks his knuckles and takes a deep breath and speaks again. He places a hand on Becky’s shoulder as Becky turns her head to look at him. Seth Lawless: Liberty Pro is going to be ours. We are going to take this company over. Simply put we are going to take a what is ours. I’m done with people saying that Seth Lawless has lost a step. That Seth Lawless isn’t as good as he used to be. That is why I am here to make a name for myself once again. And with you guys behind me it will be VERY easy to do. He smirks again as he removes his hand off of Becky and kisses her forehead. Warren Corbett: I wonder what kind of reaction we’ll be faced with. Just what will they do when they finally understand that we aren’t pushovers. Just because they don’t give us the time of day, or they choose not to recognize us, doesn’t mean that we aren’t strong. We are many, and together we can do anything. We fight for what we believe in. Liberty Pro, is finally a place where we can put it all into action. Warren nodded his head, rubbing his hands together like he was beyond excited. Becky Balfour: I’m sure everyone wants to know what we are going to bring to Liberty, and the answer is simple...change. Now, what kind of change? Well...that’s for us to know, and for you all to find out. Becky stands back to her feet and backs herself into the three men of the group as a few homeless men wander into the camera shot. Becky smirks and reaches down behind Larclan to show a trash bag. She rips the bag open and all of the members of #TheSociety reach in, grabbing a black t-shirt and tossing them to the homeless men and women until all of the shirts are gone. The homeless wander behind #TheSociety, along with The Followers and put the shirts on as all members of the group drop to their knees to show off the homeless, now clad in the shirts with #TheSociety across the chests. Becky Balfour: We cloth the homeless, we feed the hungry….we change the world. Together. What is justice? WE...are justice. We are undividable and at Liberation we will stand tall together and one of us will walk out Liberty champion. Seth, while kneeling beside Becky, interlocks his hand with hers. Seth Lawless: Gold will look good around one of our waists. Now you can question us about the Battle Royal and say how will you guys work together in that match. Don’t worry because united we stand united we fall. With the final chilling words from Lawless, the camera flashes to black and white with all members of #TheSociety smiling before it quickly cuts to static. MATCH ONE: SINGLES MATCH Scarlett Highland vs. Larclan
BACKSTAGE The cameras cut backstage to Cami McGatha and Wren Sweet; Cami is leaning against the wall and she sighs slightly as her eyes fall to Wren, who is leaning up and forward slightly, her phone held at an angle as she pouts for a selfie. Cami McGatha: Uhh.. Wren… Wren holds up a finger, she then runs her hand through her long, wavy hair and checks her reflection, titling her head slightly for another shot, her full pouty lips protruding just a little as Cami sighs again. Cami McGatha: WREN! Wren slaps her hands down, locking her phone as she does and she turns to look at Cami now with a tense smile. Wren Sweet: Cami, the lighting here is perf and I am TRYING to send Mace a snap okay, so can you just, like… wait? Cami leans in and snatched Wren’s phone, holding it behind her back she shakes her head at her. Cami McGatha: Could you take this seriously please?! Do you have any idea how mad my dad is going to be if we mess this up?! We need to make a statement from the beginning -- Wren interjects, another tense smile on her lips as she exhales slowly through her nose. Wren Sweet: What do you think I've been doing? Whilst you were busy promising your new boyfriend that you can totes fight each other, I was getting us in the first ever Liberty Pro booked match-up! You're welcome, by the way. Cami McGatha: Right and your mouth did its job in getting us noticed but now we have to prove to Mr. Callaghan… Wren thrusts her fingers in her mouth and makes an exaggerated gag at Cami referring to Nathan as Mr. Callaghan. Cami sighs again and stamps her foot slightly. Cami McGatha: OHMYGOD WREN THIS IS SERIOUS OKAY?! Wren Sweet: Relaaxxx its cry baby Brendan, like he's really a threat, I could beat him himself with a hand tied behind my back. We are being trained by literally some of the biggest names in the industry; we are the Legacies… we don't have anything to prove: he has to prove he can hang with us, not the other way around. Cami McGatha: But- Wren Sweet: No buts Cam, I promise we are going to rock this match. It's what we were born to do, it's what we're destined to do and whether it's one Callaghan, two Callaghans or the entire flock of marginally good looking but unfortunately sparingly talented Callaghans… we will end our night with our arms raised, because it's what we do. Wren smiles and reaches over to grab her phone, pulling it free she clicks open the camera and leans in to Cami with a wink. Wren Sweet: You worry too much… Now, smile; this one's for my story. Before Cami can say anything, Wren starts snapping away with her phone. BACKSTAGE The camera cut to the backstage area, where a little interview section was put together. Tim Anderson stood in the camera view with an expectant look on his face. Tim Anderson: Hello, everyone, I’m here with Zeke Reed, who’s getting ready for his match tonight with Dick Lightning. Awkwardly, he realized the name he just said, but he managed to stop himself from emoting too much on it. Zeke Reed came into camera view, wearing a full black suit. He gave Anderson an once over and squinted his eyes. Zeke Reed: What’s wrong with his name? Anderson looked over to the right, avoiding Zeke’s pensive gaze. Tim Anderson: Uhm, nothing, it’s just--nevermind. We got questions that you have answers to. First and foremost, how does it feel being here? You’re the first signing to the company and now you’re actually standing here on the show. It gotta feel nice, right? Zeke pursed his lips slightly. Zeke Reed: I guess so. The first signing to a new expansion in the CWC-- The Reed paused as he heard the roar of the crowd as they cheered him dropping the meme. Zeke did not seem to understand what was going, but he let them die out before he continued. Zeke Reed: Anyways. He cleared his throat. Zeke Reed: That recognition alone comes with pressure. In addition to that, I have this whole Reed Dynasty legacy going on, but if you know anything about me. You know that I don’t succumb to pressure like that. I don’t agree to social norms of professional wrestling. If anything, I’m the one making the pressure on everyone else. Take my brother in color, Lightning, for example. He understands that he’s walking in with a Reed, but what he doesn’t understand is what I stand for. I’m not just a Reed. I’m the Reed. I’m the One Man Dynasty, because I’m carrying my family’s reputation on my back. While Aries, Bianca, and some of the others make us look bad sometimes, I got a responsibility to uphold. Cassius, a world champion right now, is doing his part. My half sister, Nicki, got herself a championship too in her development fed. So, it’s my turn to claim some gold for myself. What better way to accomplish that by coming in as Liberty Pro’s first signing and leave tonight as their first champion? The crowd once again cheered loudly for Zeke, who understood this time why they were cheering. Zeke Reed: Yeah, I might be a little brash, I might be selfish in some cases, but I know what I’m about. You can see in just a few tweets. I stand up for my family, my race, and most of all, myself. I know there’s some hot commodities that might make it to that main event, but we all know the stories. I don’t believe in name value off gate. I believe in making a name for yourself in every new place you walk in. Hence why I speak the truth out to some inane Society or any of the well-respected people with their extensive resumes. I don’t give a damn about all that. I give a damn about what Zeke Reed brings to the table. As I’ve also said before, it doesn’t matter how well I train or how much I add to my repertoire. Let me turn to the camera here and say it to the whole roster. Y’all can probably hear me in your locker rooms. Tim Anderson politely stepped away. Zeke Reed: I’m Zeke Reed and it doesn’t matter if you got all the world championships in the world or the hype train rolling for you...tonight, all it takes is for me to stomp on your head. Watch how I do it to Lightning and try to come up with a strategy. Liberty Pro’s getting introduced to my movement. I’m stomping out the whole world, and I’m starting with every single one of you. Zeke started to walk off as Anderson got back into frame. Tim Anderson: Hey, Zeke, I had some more questions for you. The man in question paused. Zeke Reed: Ask me when I get changed. MATCH TWO: BEAT THE CLOCK HANDICAPPED MATCH The Legacies (Wren Sweet & Cami McGatha) vs. Brendan Callaghan (And Sean Callghan?)
BACKSTAGE We cut backstage to find Alicia Lukas bouncing on the balls of her feet in her ring gear and a leather jacket, she shadow boxes throwing punches and a few kicks before turning her head at the camera with a grin. Alicia Lukas: Well here we are. My hometown promotion right?. Since I moved to New York earlier this year I have been embraced by the area. I go to the gym and people approach me, I walk down the street and people stop me for a picture. I signed here because I wanted a new company to ply my trade. I love the other places I'm in but that Liberty Pro title. That championship seems like something that needs a great champion. A strong champion with name recognition and even a little bit of...controversy Alicia pauses with a smirk pulling up her two other title belts. Alicia Lukas: Tonight I go out there and face Carina Eventide. A woman who is looked at as an artist. A woman who I know little about but have already seen make an impact. The winner of this match gets to go on into that battle royal for a chance to be the first ever champion. And not only that but we get to do it in the ICONIC hammerstein ballroom....do you know how big that would be for any of us?....the first episode of Liberation...the first champion...in a legendary building... The strong style southern belle is ready to go...and ready to make history.... BACKSTAGE The fans react positively to the next shot on their screen; that of one Ashleigh Powell, dressed for action, and putting her long brown hair up into a ponytail. She adjusts it so it’s just right, then smiles, her eyes shifting from herself in the mirror...to the camera angle shooting the mirror. Ashleigh Powell: It’s been 413 days, since a baseball bat upside my head was called the end of my career. Struck down before it ever reached the potential everyone said I had. Four hundred and thirteen days, and I can’t tell you how many mornings I woke up, and had to make sure I knew what day it was. She turns, facing the camera, the smile fading as she recounts the last year-plus of her life. Ashleigh Powell: Four hundred and thirteen days, and how many times did I find myself...enveloped by what I could only describe to my family and doctors as “like my brain was replaced with a white noise machine.” How many nights did I sit, looking out at the stars, hoping...praying that my life could one day just be normal again? Never mind being in a wrestling ring again! Never mind trying to do what I love, what my father traveled the world to do, to try and simply BE part of that life? Part of that story? Ashleigh shakes her head, closing her eyes. Her head droops slightly, and then she looks at the camera again; it didn’t take much, but her eyes are already filling up, and one hand comes to her face to wipe her eyes clean as she continues. Ashleigh Powell: Then...one day. And it sounds like the most ridiculous story ever, I know, but...that static. That white noise. Gone. She laughs softly. Ashleigh Powell: Christmas Day. And I was happy, I was content. Life was mine, for the taking, and I planned on it...until that bug got planted in my head. You know how it is, right? Once wrestling’s in your head, it’s never leaving. Not until you’re crippled or dead. So I built myself back up. From nothing, basically. New game plan. New battle scars. Until...now. Ashleigh’s smile is slowly returning to her face as she continues. Ashleigh Powell: Four hundred and thirteen days. And I can’t begin to tell you how many times I’ve dreamed about tonight. Thought about what it would be like, whether I could live up to the idea in my head of how it could go. And sure, there’s the worry in the back of my mind, right up until I’m in that ring...that this was all for nothing, and that I shouldn’t have done it. But… Ashleigh reaches off screen, picking up...a mask. For long time wrestling fans, it’s the mask of her father and trainer, the original White Phoenix. She looks at it for a long pause, then at the camera. Ashleigh Powell: ...What kind of daughter would I be if I didn’t? Liberty Pro...there’s a time and a place to die, but this ain’t it. See you out there! She turns back to the mirror, still holding the mask and nodding as we cut away. MATCH THREE: SINGLES MATCH Alicia Lukas vs. Carina Eventide
BACKSTAGE The scene begins in the Benfica themed, large man cave of Vítor Mata which is seen for the first time by fans of Liberty Pro. The man himself, Vítor Mata sitting down on a couch in the middle if the room. He is reading something in a tan file, soon he casually throws the file on an ornate glass coffee table. The file has written in red marker in capital letters “THE SOCIETY” Vítor Mata: Becky Balfour, Seth Lawless, Warren Corbett. The Society. Vítor laughs, he's wearing sleeveless red Che shirt, with denim distressed and ripped jeans. He kicks up his “Chicago” Jordan 1s on his couch and continues to speak in a low commanding voice Vítor Mata: They're only three of my opponents this week, on Saturday is when I fight them if I beat them I enter a battle royal for the Liberty Pro Championship, then I have a #1 contender match in Toronto the next day. I expect this to be a very lucrative week, I don't expect The Society to pose much of a threat. That being said this video is for Liberty Pro, and unfortunately since I don't know who I will fight in the battle royal in the exception of my two partners, Tyler Chandler, and Emily Jackson. I have to talk about these three righteous idiots. Luckily for me, I have no shortage of ammunition to fire at them, because they have given me some much on twitter. Let's start with the blatant lies about how I'm selfish and I don't care about my own people. Warren Corbett, let's start with you. You claim that The Society represents the Portuguese people that I don't. You say that when you have never stepped one foot on Portuguese soil. Actually all of you say that you represent the unrepresented, yet I doubt any of you have gone to support the refugees in The Middle East, or the poor and starving India and in many African countries, or the repressed people of China. I know why you won't help the Portuguese people, because you know, just like I know, that they will see you for the hypocritical charlatans that you are. Vítor gets up from his couch, grabbing the file on from the coffee table as he does. He put the file under his arm and cracks his knuckles start with his left and ending with his right. He starts to walk towards the bar in his mancave positioned behind the couch and take seat on one of the 5 bar stools. The camera follows Vítor to the bar, Vítor takes the file from under his arm and places it on the bar stool next to him. He leans over the bar surface and get behind so he can grab a glass a bottle of Portuguese wine that has been uncorked already, so he pops of the cap and pours himself a glass of wine. Vítor Mata: You guys don't care, you just want to be known. I asked Becky Balfour why she's using Professional Wrestling as a medium for this crusade. Of course she dodged the question. I know why she dodged the question, it's because she doesn't want to admit that she is self-centered and doesn't care about these people she supposedly protects. Everything I do in this sport, I do in the interest of the Portuguese people, every win, every championship, is for the Portuguese people. Only for them, I don't pretend to like other nations or people for those nations like you three do. Come Saturday on behalf of the Portuguese people, the greatest civilization on the planet. I will use my technical prowess and my MMA to slaughter the three of you, and then later on that night you'll watch as I win the Liberty Pro Championship. Vítor takes a drink of his wine, then turns to the camera and grows that signature shit-eating grin from ear to ear as the video ends. MATCH FOUR: SIX WAY TAG TEAM MATCH The Society (Becky Balfour, Seth Lawless & Warren Corbett) vs. Tyler Chandler, Emily Jackson & Vitor Mata
BACKSTAGE The scene opens to the back where Jacob Daniels has his eyes locked on the mirror in front of him. He has on his wrestling gear and a baggy black, sleeveless shirt that has the Liberty Pro Wrestling logo with Beast Mode across the back of it. Daniels slowly closes his eyes and looks back into his reflection. Jacob Daniels: Tonight, I make my Liberty debut. Tonight I get placed in yet another main event against yet another opponent that I've never heard of before this pairing was made. But for me? That doesn't mean much since the last two matches I've had for the FAW Hardcore Invitational were against first time opponents for me and I booted both of them to the sidelines. But I get it apples and oranges, all that shit. This is a new place with new people but I am still... That same Beast. An almost sinister smile slowly forms on Daniels’ face now, as he keeps his eyes on the mirror. Jacob Daniels: The same Beast that tore through the rosters of companies, leaving nothing but scraps and hurt feelings in his wake. The same Beast that has chased some of the bigger names in the industry out of companies for the fear of having to match up and being proven incapable of keeping up with him. That's the Beast that is now home in Liberty. That's why my name was placed at the top of the first ever episode of Liberation. I didn't need to use the names of those who trained me to get my foot in the door like the first of my opponents, Ivy Warner, has done. She might tell you that's not the case but look at her Twitter and tell me what she's got listed first there and you can see why she's in this match… And it's not because of her known abilities. Daniels lets out a small chuckle that is quickly followed by a slight sigh. Jacob Daniels: Then we got the hometown boy, the Maestro of Strong Style… Michael Kelly. Now the he can be the maestro of whatever he wants to be but he's not taken on someone that hits as hard, moves as fast and is as vicious as me. I'm sure you have faced those faster, stronger or bigger than you Michael Kelly, but have you faced someone that is all three? You're about to. I'm about to show you exactly who you are facing. You may want to say the whole “Current champ. Former champ. It means absolutely nothing to me.” And I'm more than happy to let that mean nothing to you. Do not fear me Michael, don't worry about me… Don't let me words sway you. Because my actions in that ring will do all of those things. He lets out an almost low growl as he smugly smiles at his reflection. Jacob Daniels: Michael Kelly? Ivy Warner? Neither of them will beat me tonight in that Liberty ring. One is too focused on looking good for someone else and the other is too busy trying to look good for himself. Me? The only thing I'm going to be busy doing is winning and the only one that can beat me…? Daniels turns from the mirror now and eyes up the camera with a stern look. Jacob Daniels: Is the man in the mirror… Jacob then strikes the mirror with his fist, sending the broken pieces shattering on the locker room floor as the scene cuts out. MATCH FIVE: SINGLES MATCH Romeo Black vs. Ashleigh Powell
BACKSTAGE Tim Anderson: And we’re back here with Zeke Reed, who will hopefully finish my interview. Zeke stepped back into the shot with his ring gear on. Tim Anderson: I won’t keep you long as you’re about to go to war with Dick Lightning? Do you think you can weather the storm? When Anderson spoke the pun, Zeke gave him a disappointed glare and started to walk off ala James Harden, but Anderson gave chase. Tim Anderson: Sorry about that. I like to-- Zeke Reed: Yeah, whatever. Zeke readjusted accordingly. Zeke Reed: Weathering the storm...yeah, that’s not the best choice of words. The question is that Dick Lightning will have to face the storm of me. Everyone here will have to do that. Especially since I’m about to go out there and earn my spot in the main event. After that, I’ll come here, drink some water, and then I’ll get ready to go out there and win the Liberty Championship. I promise. I PROMISE YOU, that’s what happening. Tim Anderson looked on with a slight wonder. Zeke nodded at him and patted him on the shoulder. Zeke Reed: Thanks for being patient, man. Zeke started to head off, but Tim stopped him again. Tim Anderson: So, Zeke, there are a lot of top talent that can make it to the end. You might not make it to the end to begin with. So what will you do if you lose? This time, it’s warranted. Zeke gave Tim another one of the James Harden glares before going off to his match. BACKSTAGE Backstage and Melissa Reeves is stood by alongside Tim Anderson. Tim: Melissa, it’s been a while. Reeves nods and smiles. Melissa: Here we are again, though. Tim: Indeed. Now, tell me about tonight. Earlier on we saw you defeat Andi Michaels. It’s fair to say that was a personal match. Thoughts? Melissa shrugs. Melissa: Wasn’t personal for me. Work is work, Tim, you know that. As for the match itself...I did what I came here to do. One match, one win. Tim: Which, of course, means you will enter the evening’s main event match, with the possibility of winning the Liberty Championship. What would that mean for you? She beams with a wide smile as she thinks on her reply. Melissa: Winning the gold on day one? Being the only competitor to go 2-0 in the first night? That’s the sort of thing I live for. That’s how you make an impact in a new company and that is how you show that you are the person who is fit to lead the way. Now, will it be easy? No, of course not. Nothing ever is. This is why I train obsessively, why I study, why I learn and improve...so that I can take opportunities like this and grab them with both hands. Tim: Who is the main threat in the match? She shrugs. Melissa: They’re all threats. Nobody got there by accident, nothing is free. It’ll take my A-game to win, to capture the gold...but that’s fine, my best is all I ever bring! With that she smiles again and walks off camera. MATCH SIX: SINGLES MATCH Zeke Reed vs. Dick Lightning
BACKSTAGE The camera jumps to Isabella Strickland sitting in the back, putting on a knee brace on her right knee. She lifts her head up and stands, stretching out her leg in the process. As she rises up, the camera has to pan up a bit and a smirk appears on Isy’s face. Isabella Strickland: “Some of you may know me...some of you may not...but I can promise that after tonight? You won’t forget me. I’ve traveled across the globe and I’ve wrestled just about everywhere you can think of...but it’s here in New York that I get to really make a name for myself. The opportunity to become the first ever Liberty Champion. In our business, it’s never a guarantee how much you’ve got left and I see that clock ticking away for me every single day...but I’m not backing down from it. To me? That’s just another obstacle to overcome.” A brief wince on Strickland’s face; the thoughts of her past coming back for just an instant. Isabella Strickland: “And that’s what my entire career has been built on. First thing everyone says about Isabella Strickland...look how tall she is. But every time I step into that ring, I show that I’m more than just a tall girl. I show that I’m one of the best in the world. I’ve done nothing, but dedicate my entire life to this craft. My free time goes to helping rookies and anyone wanting to learn. Wrestling is my life.” Isabella uses a hand to beat her chest a few times, right over her heart. Isabella Strickland: “So when I look across the ring and I see Avery Smith...I just smile. I see a woman with nothing, but a bright future ahead of her. Unfortunately...Avery’s still got a way to go. I’ve trained a lot of young wrestlers and I know all they have to offer...whatever you’ve got for me, Avery? I’ve seen it before. You’ll put up a hell of a fight, you might take me to my limit, but Avery, I’m winning that Liberty Championship tonight. No one is getting in my way. Not you...not anyone else.” She takes a few steps closer to the camera, looking right into it. Nothing, but fire and intensity in her eyes. Isabella Strickland: “I’m making Liberty Pro my home and I’ve got to make my mark. As long as business is good...I’m here for a long time. I’m here to take New York over.” The confident smirk from earlier returns as Isy looks right into the camera. Isabella Strickland: “And when the night is done...you’ll remember one thing. Isabella Strickland, first Liberty Champion.” She winks before making her exit from the scene; the camera cutting elsewhere in the arena. MATCH SEVEN: GRUDGE MATCH Melissa Reeves vs. Andi Michaels
BACKSTAGE Ivy Warner walks into the catering room, still dressed in her street clothes; a pair of fitted blue jeans and a cropped white lace shirt that shows off her toned stomach. She looks around for a moment before her face lights up with a smile and she bounds across the room, stopping just short of running all the way into her mentor. Ivy Warner: TYSON! Tyson Gregory laughs slightly as he turns to face Ivy, a smile on his own face that almost matches hers as she looks up at him, moving side to side and jiggling from foot to foot. Ivy Warner: I, can't believe you're actually here! You came! OMG! Tyson Gregory: You didn't think I'd miss this did you Ive? He leans in and gives her a quick hug which she returns, as he pulls back she lets out a small, slow sigh and shakes her head. Shaking her hands out at her side she bites at her bottom lip. Ivy Warner: No. No… Course not, I um.. I just mean, I don't know, I guess I wasn't a thousand percent sure you were gonna be here. Did you know Collin is here?! Her eyes go wide as she says that, causing Tyson to chuckle as he nods his head. Tyson Gregory: He mentioned something yeah, but listen Ivy… You need to concentrate on your match tonight; this is your shot, it's everything you have been working for… Ivy Warner: I know. I mean, wow, jeez… talk about pressure huh? As if it weren't enough I got signed and you're here, I'm in the freakin main Event Ty! The main Event with Jacob god damn Daniels… Ivy shakes her head as though in disbelief and lets out a whistle of a sigh before laughing slightly. Ivy Warner: I just want to make you proud of me Tyson; you've done so much for me… given me so much time, showed so much faith in me and I just - I don't want to let you down. Tyson Gregory: Hey, listen to me… He places both his hands on her shoulders and leans in slightly with a small smile, his eyes locked on hers as she nods slightly. Tyson Gregory: You go out there and you do your absolute best and I promise I will be proud of you no matter what. MATCH EIGHT: SINGLES MATCH Isabella Strickland vs. Avery Smith
