![]() LIBERTY PRO WRESTLING PRESENTS... LIBERATION: EPISODE TWO LIVE ON SATURDAY, AUGUST 19th, 2017 FROM THE HAMMERSTEIN BALLROOM IN MANHATTAN, NEW YORK MAIN EVENT: TAG TEAM MATCH Melissa Reeves & Zeke Reed vs. The Society (Warren Corbett & Larclan) Melissa Reeves and Zeke Reed hung on in the battle royal until the end. But their battle against each other turned costly when Becky Balfour of The Society eliminated them and became the first ever Liberty Champion. Now Melissa and Zeke will take on two members of The Society, Warren Corbett and Larclan. Can Zeke and Melissa co-exist to pull off the victory? HEADLINE: FOUR WAY TAG TEAM ELIMINATION MATCH FOR THE LIBERTY TAG TEAM CHAMPIONSHIPS The Legacies (Wren Sweet & Cami McGatha) vs. Brady Bros (Colt & Finn) vs The Callaghan’s (Sean and Brendan) vs Dick Lightning & Romeo Black A lot of controversy went on between The Legacies, The Brady Bros and The Callaghan brothers during our first show. All three of them teams will have a chance at the Liberty Tag Team Championships. Will Sean and Brendan be able to get along? And what about the unlikely pairing of Dick Lightning and Romeo Black? Clearly Nathan Callaghan saw something in both of these men last week despite them both losing their matches and that is why they have an opportunity at the titles. Who will walk away our inaugural tag team champions? MATCH EIGHT: SINGLES MATCH Becky Balfour vs. Ashleigh Powell Becky Balfour walked away the first ever Liberty Champion and she did it in controversial fashion. She lasted throughout the battle royal with the help of her ‘family’ in The Society and she took advantage of it to become the champion. Now she has to fight against Ashleigh Powell, who had an impressive return to the ring. This is a non-title match but if Ashleigh wins, what does it mean for her future? MATCH SEVEN: SINGLES MATCH Michael Kelly vs. Alicia Lukas Michael Kelly impressed in his headline match but he came up short when JD picked up the pin over him. The strong style competitor is looking to rebound against Alicia Lukas, who was one of the most impressive competitors on Saturday. Will Alicia keep her momentum or will Michael slow her down? MATCH SIX: SINGLES MATCH Seth Lawless vs. Avery Smith Seth Lawless doesn’t mess around when it comes to the ring and he’s an accomplished veteran. This week he gets to go up against Avery Smith, who impressed in her debut but in losing fashion. This is Avery’s second ever match, will she be able to succeed against Seth Lawless? Or will Seth pull off the victory with The Society by his side? MATCH FIVE: SINGLES MATCH Jacob Daniels vs. Tyler Chandler This match-up features two former heavyweight champions and accomplished veterans. Tyler might be quite athletic but will it be able to work against a force like Jacob Daniels? JD is one of the most imposing, if not the most imposing specimen on the Liberty roster. Tyler is going to have his work cut out for him trying to get his first victory against Jacob Daniels. Jacob is looking to continue his momentum going forward. MATCH FOUR: SINGLES MATCH Emily Jackson vs.Vitor Mata Emily and Vitor teamed at the first show before Vitor turned on Emily. Now the two will face off one on one. Will Emily’s luck change? Or will she fall victim to Vitor Mata, The Pride of Portugal? MATCH THREE: SINGLES MATCH Isabella Strickland vs. Carina Eventide Two of the most impressive women of last week. Isabella made her mark in the battle royal and Carina had a hellacious fight with Alicia Lukas. Isabella is a towering force for a woman and Carina will need to use her speed and agility to pull this one out. MATCH TWO: SINGLES MATCH Ivy Warner vs. Scarlett Highland Scarlett had a rough outing last week when she fought Larclan of The Society. This week she has another tough match up against Ivy Warner. Ivy looked great against veterans like Jacob Daniels and Michael Kelly, but lost in her debut, just like Scarlett did. Both women are looking to have better luck this week. Scarlett will have her work cut out for her with the pedigree that Ivy brings with her. MATCH ONE: SINGLES MATCH Chris Cane vs. Alexis Mercer This match is of two debuting competitors for Liberty Pro but they are definitely not new to the ring. Both of these veterans are quite accomplished in their own right but who is going to prove to be the better of the two? |
