WEDNESDAY NIGHT WARFARE 6

LIVE FROM THE REDDING CIVIC AUDITORIUM – REDDING, CA
WEDNESDAY – AUGUST 16, 2017
[/align]

The show begins with Blanche Patton in the ring standing in front of a table and four chairs. She welcome everyone to the show tonight and says that California has been a great host for this promotion, and they intend to come back soon. Tonight, however, there are important matters to tend to and it is time to tend to them. At CWC Pacific, the HPW Tag Team Championships will be on the line. We learned last night that the champions, Parker Brothers Inc, will face off against The Pride, a team made up of Jack Tillman and Finch Maruta. She welcomes both teams out, and PBI receives the majority of the cheers from the home audience.

Blanche tells the two teams that she doesn’t want any funny business tonight, just a contract signing. PBI follow instructions and immediately sign the papers to big pop. Jack Tillman and Finch Maruta, however, have something they need to get off their chests. Finch takes the mic and tells Blanche that he’s happy to see more promotions coming to California because the state has been so great to HPW in the past. But he also knows that PNW coming down here is a statement, not a business opportunity. Tillman says that PNW has been trying to overshadow HPW from the get-go, and that’s fine, but things got serious the moment two PNW stars were allowed to walk away with the HPW Tag Team Titles.

PBI jump in and let Tillman and Maruta know that it was never personal for them. He says that every other wrestler in the CWC would have done the same thing, and that PNW has been more than willing to put the belts on the line whenever HPW wanted it. In fact, they’ve already defended against Hot and Trashy once. Tillman says that was always a shame, and everyone could see through it. And now the only reason HPW is getting this shot is because Hudson Hughes had to ship a box full of bills over to Blanche as a bribe. Blanche says that’s business. Tillman says that’s cowardice.

Finch says that’s he was so happy to see the PNW Championship fall to Arcane because he thought Arcane would do what is right and use that belt as leverage to get the HPW belts back home to the brand he helped, but Arcane didn’t care. He said no one has HPW’s back anymore. That after all they’ve been through, and he’s been here since the beginning, that HPW is only now starting to find its way back into the spotlight. He says that revitalization is going to happen when they walk into CWC Pacific and take the belts back where they belong.

Jesse Parker takes the mic and says that’s all a good story. Finch and Tillman sign the contract as he continues. Jesse says that HPW’s time has come and gone, and there’s no question that PNW is the top dog on the west coast now. That may be a hard pill to take for HPW because they’ve been all alone for so long, but now the CWC has grown and they are surrounded on all sides. HPW had to keep the pace, and they just couldn’t do it. That’s why the titles are staying in PNW.

Mary launched himself forward and clocked Maruta with the belt as Tillman and Jesse went at each other. Blanche ran out of the ring as fast as she could, and the brawl was quickly stopped by security guards who pulled the teams apart. The announce team said that tensions were clearly boiling over between these two proximal promotions, and it was all going to pop off at CWC Pacific. We fade to black with the lasting shot of both teams reaching for each other, but never getting close enough.

Crosby, Kingsley, Adams, Bane vs. Madsen, Russey, Taylor, Fleck

These eight men will go on to compete in a tournament to crown the number one contender for the PNW Championship after Worldwide, but this match will give the winners the chance to choose the stipulations for their first round bouts. Luke Bane starts off the match for his side against Dex Russey, and the crowd is ready to see what Russey can do in the ring. Bane starts things off with a head full of steam as usual, and Dex is forced to fight on the back foot. Dex rallies the crowd behind him and is able to punch Bane back and get the upperhand with a thrust kick. 1…2…KICKOUT. Russey tags in his partner Dillon Taylor, and Taylor is able to come in hot with a slingblade and then a dropkick. Bane immediately tags out to Asher Crosby who charges inside but meets a boot to the gut by Taylor. Taylor bounces off of the ropes, hoping for Taylor Made, but Mia Miley is on the outside to trip him up. The referee sees this, and the first thing he does is toss her out of the match! Ben Kingsley is livid.

While Dillon has a laugh, finally getting to see Mia Miley drug off up the ramp, Asher makes the tag to Caleb Adams. He comes in and immediately levels Dillon with a forearm to the back of the head. Adams plants him with a DDT before going for the cover. 1…2…KICKOUT. Adams pulls Dillon up and begins going for some more gut shots, but Dillon is able to free himself with a left hook and then make the tag to Alex Madsen. Alex wasted no time getting into the match, taking Adams down with two lariats and then a delayed vertical suplex. He went for the pin. 1…2…KICKOUT. Adams tried to pull himself up but he was caught with an inverted backbreaker. Madsen whipped Adams into the corner, planted a boot in the gut, and then made the tag in to Jackson Fleck who took him down with a sidewalk slam. 1…2…BANE BREAKS IT UP! Kingsley and Crosby rushed the ring as well, and soon there was a cluster in the ring that the referee needed to take control off.

By the time the referee restored order, bodies were strewn around the outside. Adams made the tag to Ben Kingsley who rushed in and was able to send Fleck down with a big boot. Dex Russey was the lone survivor on his team and was reaching out trying to make the tag, but Kingsley sent him down with a dropkick. Bane was on the apron screaming at Kingsley to finish him off, and Kingsley fired back with some words of his own, telling Bane to shut the fuck up because he had it covered. Fleck at that very moment was able to roll up Kingsley. 1…2…KICKOUT! Kingsley rolled to his feet and was up before Fleck was. He pulled him into the Cobra Clutch position and then… ROSE CITY KISS! Fleck was planted! 1…2…3! That’s it! Ben Kingsley, Luke Bane, Asher Crosby, and Caleb Adams slid into the ring to get their arms raised, knowing that now they had the opportunity to choose the stipulations for their matches in the opening round of the tournament.

WINNERS: CROSBY, KINGSLEY, ADAMS, BANE

After the match, we see Liam Callaghan standing in the PNW interview area with Sam Decker. He’s taping his wrists while staring at a monitor that’s showing everything that’s happening in the ring. Decker asks Callaghan how he feels knowing that one of the eight men in the ring would be next in line for a PNW Championship shot. Callaghan turns to Decker and asks which PNW Championship, his or Arcane’s? He takes a deep breath and then says that right now, no one knows who the real champion is. True, Arcane is an outsider – he’s never here. But he holds a belt, so that means he can call himself champion. Liam says that being champion means staying and fighting, so no matter who gets in his way, he’s going to stay and fight. He says that the eight men in the ring will be thinking about the title sometime next month, but his big chance to finally settle all of this is right here in front of him. Tonight, he is going to take out Konstantine, and at Worldwide, he’ll finish off Arcane. There’ll be no controversy then. After that, he’ll think about one of those eight men.

Marisol Hawkes vs. Rose

Marisol Hawkes heads to the ring with the PNW Women’s Champion staring her down. Rose is an intimidating figure for sure, but Hawkes shows a lot of confidence once the bell rings and she comes face to face with her. Hawkes rears back for a cheap shot but Rose catches her arm in midair before lifting her onto her shoulders and planting her down with a samoan drop. Rose pops to her feet and it is clear that she’s really feeling herself right now. Hawkes gets to her feet and is immediately tossed into the corner where Rose starts working her over like a punching bag. Marisol ends up falling into Rose’s arms, but Rose backs up and pulls Marisol into powerbomb position. She lifts her up and BOOM, she slams her down. Rose keeps her hands locked alongside Marisol’s. BOOM! A second powerbomb! BOOM! A third! BANG BANG YOU’RE DEAD is complete! Rose transitions into the pinning position. 1…2…3! And just like that, the champion has made quick work of Marisol Hawkes in this match. She raises her title and her hand in the middle of the ring and smiles as the camera slowly fades out, her music playing in the background.

WINNER: ROSE

The commercial break has ended and we come back to Redding, California with a camera following Rose as she makes her way backstage. She comes across the three women who will fight for the chance to face her in the next match, Cali-Kate, Cheyenne, and Sansa Madsen. She gives them a nod and then walks off. Sam Decker rushes to the scene and asks Rose how she’s feeling after such a decisive victory. Her manager, Michelle Goldman, looks at Rose as if she’s asking if Rose wants to answer. Rose just smiles. Michelle says that Rose hasn’t felt this confident in a long time. She has a fire lit under her and will do whatever it takes to keep that belt around her waist. Decker asks if either of them are worried about feeling too confident. Goldman pats Rose on the back and says that if Sam knew how hard Rose worked to get where she is right now, that wouldn’t even be a question that crossed his mind. The duo exit and we cut down to the ring.

Cali-Kate vs. Cheyenne vs. Sansa Madsen

Cali-Kate, Cheyenne, and Sansa Madsen are in the ring ready to go, but only one of them will be able to earn a spot in the PNW Women's Championship match at CWC Pacific. The match begins and Cheyenne stays in her corner and pulls put her bag of cockroaches. Sansa and Cali-Kate, definitely not allies at this point, but they both agree that they aren't going to put up with any of Cheyenne's bullshit in this match. They both charge and send Cheyenne over the top rope, and the back of cockroaches is tossed into the crowd. There are some more screams but Cali-Kate and Sansa Madsen aren't interested in what's happening out there. They turn on each other and begin landing a series of hard shots to each other, but Sansa is able to get the upperhand. She connects with a swinging neckbreaker and then tries for the pin. 1...2...Kickout!

Cheyenne doesn't waste much time before getting back into the ring, and she tackles Madsen and begins pummeling away at her. Kate uses the ropes to pull herself up but Cheyenne takes note of it quickly. She levels Kate with a lariat and then goes for the pin. 1...2...Kickout! Sansa gets up to her feet and take Cheyenne down with a chop block. She tries for a cover but only gets to 2. Sansa immediately moves into a triangle choke and Cheyenne is reaching for the ropes. Sansa has her in a tough spot but Kate isn't going to let the tap out happen on her watch. She drops a knee right on the back of Sansa's head and then pulls her into DDT position. Kate is going for the tornado DDT, but Sansa sees it coming and is able to push Kate off. Kate is tied to the tree of woe, but Sansa is still too groggy to capitalize. Cheyenne rushes in and a low dropkick that catches her right under the chin. Kate rolls out of the ring while Cheyenne turns her attention to Sansa.

Sansa is pulled up by the hair and then slammed down with a snapping backbreaker. Cheyenne goes for the cover. 1...2...Kickout! She sticks her arm around Sansa's throat and locks in the spider's web, the rear naked choke. Sansa struggles, but she does manage to get a grip on the ropes. The referee forces her to break the hold. Cheyenne doesn't want to give up too much momentum, so she started slam her with some knees to the side. Cali-Kate rushed back inside and took Cheyenne down with a clothesline. Cheyenne ended up in the corner of the ring and Kate rushed and planted a shoulder in her gut. After a snapmare, Kate was ready to connect with "Starstruck", but Sansa snuck up behind her with a rollup attempt. 1...2...Kickout! Cheyenne rushed forward and connected with a spear to Sansa. 1...2...Kickout! Kate was up to her feet... STARSTRUCK! Cali-Kate hooks the legs... 1...2...3! That's it! Cali-Kate is heading to CWC Pacific for a Women's Title shot!

WINNER: CALI-KATE

In the General Manager’s office, we see Tugg Porter pulling up two chairs for The Technician and Mack Brody. The PNW Tag Team Champions take a seat in front of the television. Tugg tells the two of them that they are his kind of wrasslers, the old school bruisers that you don’t find too often these days. He says that they should be able to watch this match in luxury. Brody and The Technician seem pleased by this pampering. The camera fades in on the television and then we cut to the ring.

Oswald & Oswald vs. The Badd Breed vs. The Gear Society

Oswald & Oswald, The Gear Society, and The Badd Breed are in the ring ready to kick off this three way tag team match. It is tornado rules, so all members of the teams will be in the ring at the same time. The winners will go on to challenge the PNW Tag Team Champions, Texas Wrecking Crew, at CWC Pacific. Mr. Misery and Valiente Dark are ready to go after being added to the match a few days after they were cheated out of the belts, and they come out guns blazing. Dark heads after Oswald & Oswald while Misery heads after The Gear Society. It was an ambitious plan, but the numbers are against them. Gear Gamma is able to toss Misery out of the ring while Xavier and Iris gang up on Valiente Dark after cornering him. The Gear Society rush in and pull off Iris Oswald, immediately sending her down with a double suplex. By the time Xavier realized what happened, he was tossed across the ring with a back body drop by Gear Gamma. Agatha pushed Xavier out of the ring and began to work on Iris while Gamma pulled Dark into the middle of the ring and began planting him with hard shots.

The Gear Society connected with their signature combination, the Mechromancy, on Dark and Agatha tried for the pin while Gamma stood guard. Misery rushed into the ring and kept Gamma occupied while Xavier Oswald pulled Agatha off and then sent her down with a german suplex. Xavier pulled Iris to safety out of the ring as Misery began landing some kicks on Gamma’s legs, hoping to weaken him. Agatha was slow to get up, but when she did Dark held her leg, even though he was still hurting from the Mechromancy. Finally Misery was able to get Gamma down to one knee and then rushed forward with a flying knee that connected perfectly. Misery went for the pin while Agatha was busy trying to free herself. 1…2…THE OSWALDS RUSH IN!

Xavier and Iris take control of the match by sending both members of The Badd Breed tumbling to the outside while they went to work on The Gear Society. Xavier took the lead on bringing down the big guy while Iris held Agatha down and drove knees into her ribs over and over again. Xavier sent Gear Gamma out of the ring with a mafia kick and then called Iris over to put Agatha away. He lifted her into position for the cop killer while Iris got into position for the ghetto stomp. OSWALD TO OSWALD! It connects on Agatha! 1…2…THE BADD BREED BREAK IT UP!

Valiente Dark and Mr. Misery toss Iris to the side and set Xavier up for Badd Mood, and the high and low kicks connect! 1…2…GEAR GAMMA PULLS DARK OUT OF THE RING! He and Dark begin brawling outside as Misery rushes to pick up the pin on Xavier once again. 1…2…GHETTO STOMP! Iris planted him right in the middle of the pinfall attempt! She rolled Misery over. 1…2…3! That’s it! Xavier and Iris Oswald are the new number one contenders!

WINNERS: OSWALD & OSWALD

In the back, we see Blanche Patton standing with Asher Crosby, Ben Kingsley, Caleb Adams, and Luke Bane. She says that because they were winners in the eight man tag team match earlier tonight, they get to choose the stipulations of their first round tournament matches. Crosby is quick to speak up, but Blanche quiets him down. She says this is something they each need to think about carefully – it needs to be something that benefits them, and it’s not a decision that should be made spur of the moment. Bane asks if anything is allowed. He gets a strange look on his face and Blanche quickly clarifies. Anything within reason. No one should be placed in mortal danger. And nothing too expensive, either. PNW has a lot of surplus money hanging around after Hudson Hughes’ generous donation, but she doesn’t want to blow it on an electrified flaming steel case. Bane smiles, like that may have been a good idea. Blanche tells them that they have until the end of CWC Worldwide to make a decision, and then she leaves them. We fade down to the ring for the main event.

Alyssa Davies vs. Ava Tremblay vs. Veeka Manns

Alyssa Davies, Ava Tremblay, and Veeka Manns all stand in the ring as the bell sounds. Ava looks at both of her opponents and decides to strike Alyssa first. She connects with a big forearm shot that sends Alyssa to the mat but Veeka is right there to take advantage as Ava’s back is turned. She drops her to the mat with a big back suplex. She tries for the quick pin but Ava kicks out. Alyssa is back up and kicks Veeka in the side of the head. She rolls Veeka to the floor and then focuses on Ava but Ava is back to her feet. Big roundhouse kick from Ava and Alyssa is down on the mat. Ava has Alyssa up on the top rope and plants her with a huge superplex. She covers but Veeka is back in to break the pin.

Veeka tosses Ava to the floor and focuses on Alyssa who is down. She connects with a snap suplex and tries for the pin but Alyssa kicks out at two. She picks her up and kicks her in the gut. She tries for a pedigree like move but Alyssa reverses it with a big back body drop. Big Enziguri from Alyssa and she follows it up with a running neckbreaker. She covers but this time Ava is in to break the pin. Ava tries for a German Suplex but Alyssa lands on her feet.

All three women are back to their feet now and exchange forearms. Alyssa gets the better of Ava but Ava gets the better of Veeka. Alyssa is able to fight both women into one of the corners of the ring. Running knee to Ava. Running knee to Veeka. Veek drops to her knees and is planted by a DDT. Ava comes out of the corner with a huge clothesline. She picks up Alyssa and tries for a brainbuster but Alyssa kicks out of it. BAB! Break a Bitch connects and Alyssa covers Ava..1...2….3! Konstantine vs. Liam Callaghan

PNW needs to have no confusion about who the top dog in the company is, so before Konstantine and Liam Callaghan head to CWC Worldwide to meet Arcane in a three way match they have the chance to settle their difference in the ring tonight with no disqualifications. These two are ready to go at each other, and Konstantine makes the first move, grabbing Callaghan by the throat and pushing him into the corner. He begins landing some boxing like punches to the kidney and ribs before the referee backs him off. Callaghan jumps out of the ropes and gives chase, tackling Konstantine and getting the upperhand before jumping off and getting the crowd riled up. He pulls Konstantine to his feet and tosses him to the outside.

There’s some brawling back and forth and Konstantine is able to get back control of the match by reversing Callaghan’s momentum and tossing him head first into the steel ring post. Callaghan falls the floor while Konstantine begins digging under the apron, eventually pulling out a steel chain that he waves to the crowd and then wraps around his fist. He waits for Callaghan to get to his feet and then wails at him, but Callaghan ducks. Unfortunately for him, Konstantine swivels around and slams Callaghan right in the ribs with the chain. Konstantine kneels down and holds the chain across Callaghan’s throat, pulling tighter and tighter by the second. Callaghan is able to dig underneath the ring blind and pull out a kendo stick that he uses to swat Konstantine off.

Konstantine was caught right in the eye and is bleeding from his brow. Callaghan slips back into the ring, but he’s badly hurt. Konstantine takes a moment to get his vision back and then gives chase. Callaghan gets to his feet and desperately starts brawling with Konstantine. He is able to knock his rival to his knees before whipping him shoulder first into the post. This effort gives Callaghan a moment’s breather.

From there Callaghan is able to take control of the match. He pulled the kendo stick back into the ring and went back to work on Konstantine, leaving some large red welts on his arm. Finally, Callaghan lifted Konstantine into position – BEANTOWN PLUNGE! He makes the cover attempt. 1…2…KONSTANTINE KICKS OUT!

After a long and hard brawl, Callaghan falls back onto the mat desperately thinking about what his next move is. Konstantine begins using the ropes to pull himself up, and Callaghan follows suit. They meet in the middle of the ring for another brawl and this time Konstantine really starts grating at Callaghan’s eyes. Konstantine pushes his opponent back and on the rebound, MIDNIGHT MURDER SCENE! The lifting reverse STO connects! He goes for the cover. 1…2…3! That’s it! Konstantine has pinned the PNW Champion!

His music begins to play and the crowd is somewhat shocked, but Konstantine isn’t done. He tosses Callaghan out of the ring and begins wearing him down some more. The bell is ringing in a futile attempt to get Konstantine to stop. He lifts Callaghan up and slams him through the announce table with a powerbomb! The lasting image as we fade out is Konstantine smiling over an injured Liam Callaghan before they are set to meet Arcane with the belt on the line.

WINNER: KONSTANTINE
