WEDNESDAY NIGHT WARFARE 7

LIVE FROM WASHINGTON HALL – SEATTLE, WA
WEDNESDAY – SEPTEMBER 6, 2017

After the opening video package, GM Tugg Porter is out to welcome us to the show. He says that he’s especially excited for this show because it features the beginning of a tournament that will crown the new number one contender for the PNW Championship. On the last edition of Warfare, four wrestlers earned the right to pick the stipulations for their first round matches tonight, and now it is time to share them with the audience. For his match against Jackson Fleck, Caleb Adams has chosen a mirror on a pole match - the first person to retrieve a mirror suspended on a pole above one of the corners will be called the winner. Cali-Kate has chosen a best two out of three falls match against Dex Russey, and Ben Kingsley has chosen a five count match against Dillon Taylor. The final tournament match of the night between Asher Crosby and Alex Madsen will be a handicap match, with Crosby’s tag team partner Jax Levin joining him in the ring. Tugg says that these are some interesting choices, and he’s looking forward to seeing how they play out. His music picks up once again as we get set for the next match.

TEXAS WRECKING CREW vs. THE GEAR SOCIETY

We are ready to kick this show off with the first match of the night, and the former PNW Tag Team Champions have made their way to the ring to take on the former CWC World Tag Team Champions, The Gear Society.

Gear Gamma starts things off against Texas Wrecking Crew’s Mack Brody. Brody is the smaller man in this fight, but that doesn’t seem to phase him. After Gamma tosses him to the ground after the lockup he jumps right back to his feet and begins landing a series of hard right hooks to his opponent. Gamma forces him off but Brody bounces off of the ropes with a lariat that takes him down. Brody slaps on a chinlock hoping that it will wear down Gamma, the muscle for his team. But Gamma powers to his feet and manages to slam Brody down with a sidewalk slam. He hooks the leg for a quick pinning attempt. 1...2...KICKOUT! Gamma rises to his feet and tosses Brody into the corner where he tags in Agatha Edison. Edison springs over the top rope and Gamma pushes Brody towards her so that she can connect with a hurricanrana. 1...2...KICKOUT!

Brody rolls to his feet and tries to make the tag to The Technician, but Edison grabs him by the arm. Brody swivels around and is able to level Edison with a short arm clothesline, but they both are down on the ground. He desperately begins to crawl to the corner to make the tag, but Edison is on him once again. He kicks Edison away to make the tag, but Edison does the same to Gear Gamma.

Gamma and Technician enter the ring and Technician is able to duck a clothesline attempt. He puts Gamma in a full nelson, perhaps hoping to take him down with a suplex, but Gamma manages to bust his way out of the hold and send Technician down with a shoulder block. He jumps into the air to drop the leg, but Technician rolls out of the way just in time. Technician drops down to lock in a kneebar, hoping to keep Gamma grounded for the rest of the match. It’s clear that Gamma is in pain as he tries to reach the ropes, but every time he stretches out The Technician is able to increase the pressure.

The crowd begins to get behind Gamma and he starts to slam clubbing blows into the chest of The Technician. Finally Gamma reaches back with one last big blow and it manages to break the hold. The Technician crawls over to make the tag to Mack Brody as he clutches his ribs. Agatha Edison reaches over the top and tags herself in. Brody and Edison meet in the middle and Edison sends him down with a titlawirl headscissors. Brody gets up to his feet but he’s quickly rolled up by Edison. 1...2...3! That’s the end of this one!

Edison and Gear Gamma roll out of the ring to safety as their music plays and they raise their hands. The Technician and Mack Brody are in the ring, furious that they let this one slip through their fingers tonight.

WINNERS: THE GEAR SOCIETY

After the match, The Texas Wrecking Crew pace around in the ring, still trying to figure out how they lost this match. The Gear Society’s music finally dies down and The Technician instructs Brody to grab a microphone for him. He does, and The Technician stands in the middle of the ring, ready to speak. He says that The Gear Society should cherish this win because that kind of thing will never happen again, especially to them. But they don’t need revenge because they have something better - a PNW Tag Team Championship rematch. He says that next week they are going to challenge Oswald & Oswald for the belts, and they aren’t going to come up short.

MIRROR ON A POLE MATCH
CALEB ADAMS vs. JACKSON FLECK

It is now time for the mirror on a pole match - the winner will advance in the tournament to crown a new number one contender for the PNW Championship. Jackson Fleck and Caleb Adams make their way to the ring and is clear that the fans are rooting for Fleck in this one.

They lock up in the middle of the ring and Adams is quick to swivel around into a waistlock knowing that Fleck will be able to overpower him. He pulls Fleck down to the ground and moves into to a headlock, but Fleck forces his way to his feet and sends Adams to the mat with a northern lights suplex. Fleck is on his feet and heading for the mirror, but as he climbs the ropes, Adams is there to pull him down. Adams lands a few shots and then whips Fleck into the opposite corner. He charges, but meets a boot to the face. Fleck levels him with a clothesline and then tosses Adams out of the ring. Fleck moves to grab the mirror once again, but Adams crosses around the outside of the ring and meets fleck in the corner. He climbs in from the outside and lands a few shots that force Fleck to back off. Adams ascends the top rope and begins working on untying the mirror, but Fleck jumps onto the second rope and sends Adams down to the mat with a back suplex.

Fleck knows that Adams will be able to get up before he is able to grab the prize, so he decides to deal a little more damage. He hangs Adams over the ropes and drills him with some mui thai knees, and Adams is sent to the ground holding his ribs. Fleck pulls him into a gutwrench suplex and lands one, and then another, and then another, rolling through each time. Adams is clearly out of it and Fleck knows that this is his chance to put him away for good. Fleck pulls him into postion and #FLEXFRIDAY connects! The full nelson suplex into an ace crusher keeps Adams on the mat.

Jackson Fleck heads over to the corner and begins working on the mirror. He looks over his shoulder to make sure that Adams is still down for the count, and there’s no sign of movement. Finally Fleck is able to pull down the mirror. The bell sounds and he is declared the winner!

He doesn’t understand why Adams chose the mirror to tie on the pole, and it is clear that he isn’t impressed with it. As Adams works his way back to his feet, Fleck slams the mirror on top of Adams’ head, shattering the glass, and once again sending his opponent down. Fleck’s music continues to play as the fan favorite flexes in the middle of the ring before we fade to commercial.

WINNER: JACKSON FLECK

After the commercial break we come to the General Manager’s office where Tugg Porter is looking over his notes. He is surprised when Marty and Jesse Parker make their way into his office. They say that even though they lost the HPW Tag Team Championships at CWC Pacific, they should still be rewarded for putting PNW on the map. Tugg says that he agrees, and losses only can help to make the kids a better tag team. He tells them to learn from it, but that doesn’t seem to be what they are looking for. Jesse says that they are overdue for a PNW Tag Team Championship shot, and they want it as soon as possible. Tugg thinks about it for a moment and then eventually agrees that they have a point. He says that the tag titles are already on the line next week, but The Gear Society did good for themselves by defeating the Texas Wrecking Crew tonight. He says that next week PBI will take on The Gear Society in a number one contender’s match. It wasn’t exactly what they were hoping for, but PBI exit seemingly pleased with the decision. We fade down to the ring.

2 OUT OF 3 FALLS MATCH
CALI-KATE vs. DEX RUSSEY

The next match will be contested under best two out of three falls rules. Cali-Kate makes her way down to the ring with a good reaction - the fans were clearly impressed with her performance in the Women’s Championship match at CWC Pacific even though she was unsuccessful. Dex Russey makes his way down to the ring and this match is set to begin.

Dex is able to use his speed to catch Kate with an early rollup attempt, but it only nets a two count. Kate bounces to her feet and nails Dex with a dropkick before pushing him into the corner. She hits some sharp chops before climbing to the top and dropping a few hard shots down on his head. But Dex powers out of the corner and sends Kate face first into the top of it. On the rebound he takes her down with a snap german suplex. 1...2...KICKOUT! Kate was clearly dazed, and Dex knew it. He got her in position for another german, but she elbowed her way out of it. Dex tried a lariat, but Kate reversed it into a lungblower. 1...2...KICKOUT! Kate got up quickly and tried to connect with Starstruck, the inverted double underhook facebuster, but Dex pushed himself out of the way and connected with an enziguri. He waited for Kate to get to her feet, but Kate met him when he charged with an armdrag. It took her a moment to regain her composure, and when she did Dex was ready and waiting with the pop up cutter that he calls the Gadget Cutter! He hooked the leg. 1...2...3! That’s the first fall.

The referee reset the match, and Kate was trying to shake off the shocking pin. The ref restarted everything and Dex moved in with the half broken halo, a charged running dropkick, but Kate managed to evade. Dex collided with the ring post and that gave Kate enough time to pull him into position for the comic-kaze, a tilt-a-whirl DDT. Dex pushed her down and she landed back first on the mat. Dex pulled her into a pinning situation and put his feet on the ropes. 1...2...KICKOUT!

Kate spun to her feet and was able to meet a charging Dex with a big boot that sent him down. She climbed to the top rope to try for Bass-ic, the frog splash, and it connected! 1...2...3! That was enough to earn her the second fall of this match.

The match was restarted, and by this point both Cali-Kate and Dex Russey were exhausted. They had a back and forth exchange at the beginning which ended with Kate getting the better of Russey. She tossed him into the corner and then attempted to pick up some steam, but when she charged Dex pulled the referee right in front of him! Kate’s flying hip attack sent the referee down hard! Dex tried to rush her to finish her off, but he ran straight into the Comic-Kaze and he was down and out! Kate went for the pin attempt, but the referee wasn’t there to make the count.

While Kate was trying to revive the referee, the crowd popped, which drew her attention away. When she turned around, Sansa Madsen had already made her way into the ring. She leveled Kate with a clothesline and then pulled her into position for Black Queen, the gory neckbreaker! And it connects! Sansa looked down at what she had done for a moment and then she pulled Dex on top of Cali-Kate. Sansa revived the referee and then pulled him into position as well. 1………..2………..3! That was it! Dex Russey is advancing to the next round!

Dex’s music played, but it was Sansa who seemed most pleased by this. She smiled down at the ring for a moment, and then disappeared to the backstage area as we cut to commercial break.

WINNER: DEX RUSSEY

Sam Decker is on camera after the commercial break trying to follow Sansa Madsen down the hallway. He keeps asking her why attacked Cali-Kate in the last match to cost her a shot at the PNW Championship. He rephrases this a number of different ways before Sansa Madsen finally snaps around to stare him down. She screams at Sam that Cali-Kate never should have been in the tournament - it should have been her. Sansa backs away slowly with a smile on her face. She says that she does what she needs to do, and nothing more. Sansa exits, and we fade down to the ring.

#1 CONTENDERSHIP TOURNAMENT
5 COUNT MATCH
BEN KINGSLEY vs. DILLON TAYLOR

Ben Kingsley and Dillon Taylor have been at each other’s throats in recent weeks, so Ben Kingsley has decided to make this match a five count to the finish match so that the winner will truly be able to call themselves the better man. The winner, of course, will also advance in the tournament.

They lock up in the middle of the ring and Kingsley is able to take Taylor down with a waistlock. He tightens his grip and lifts Taylor up into a reverse bearhug of sorts, and Taylor is trying to elbow his way out of trouble. Finally he gets one good elbow off and Kingsley is forced to drop him. Taylor bounces off of the ropes and takes down Kingsley with a leg lariat before hooking the leg for the pin attempt. 1…2....KICKOUT! Kingsley pulls himself up, but Taylor slams him back down with a german suplex. Taylor moves into the corner and then charges forward with a low dropkick to the side of the head. 1…2....3….4….KICKOUT! Kingsley was stunned and was going to use every single bit of the count that he could.

Dillon pulls himself up, frustrated that he would have possibly won this match already if it were under normal rules. He goes for a suplex, but Kingsley lands on his feet and connects with a back suplex to Taylor. He swivels around and drives a knee into the side of Taylor’s head. 1….2….KICKOUT! Kingsley pulls Dillon up and sends him back down with the Rip City Tide. 1...2....3...4….KICKOUT!

Now Taylor is digging the five count. He rolls out onto the apron as Kingsley gives chase. Kingsley pulls him up and tries to suplex him over the top rope, but Dillon reverses the momentum and lands back on the apron. He headbutts Kingsley twice, pushing him away, and then tries to springboard off of the ropes. But Mia Miley is there to stop him, and the referee was watching Ben Kingsley on the other side of the ring.

Kingsley knows this is his chance to finish it. He rushes forward and plants a big boot to the side of the head of Dillon Taylor and then lifts him into position for yet another Rip City Tide. But  Dillon rolls through it! ROLLUP! 1…2…KICKOUT! Taylor and Kingsley crash into each other when they get to their feet, but Kingsley gets him into position for the Rose City Kiss, and it connects! He hooks the leg. 1...2…3...4....5! That’s enough to end this match! Mia Miley slides into the ring to celebrate with Ben Kingsley, and he is moving on to the next round with a big win in this match.

WINNER: BEN KINGSLEY

After the match, we get a pre-taped video from Alyssa Davies. She’s sitting on the beach with her feet up sipping a pina colada. She removes her sunglasses to tell the audience that after all of the screwjobs and negativity she has been forced to deal with recently, she wanted to take a week off. But when she comes back, she promises, the entire PNW Women’s Division will need to be on notice. She smirks at the camera and puts the glasses back on, taking another sip of her drink, before we fade to black.

HANDICAP MATCH
ALEX MADSEN vs. ASHER CROSBY & JAX LEVIN

Sansa Madsen has already made an impact tonight, now it is time for her husband Alex to do the same. But Asher Crosby has decided to make this first round match handicap rules, and he and his partner Jax Levin are in the ring, ready to do battle with Madsen. Before the match begins, Asher gets on the mic and says the forgot to tell Tugg Porter before the show, but in this match there is no tagging in and out. Jax and Asher get to be in the ring at the same time. Madsen eyes the two of them as the bell sounds.

Jax and Asher jump right into action, but Alex is ready for it. He mixes up hard right hands and european uppercuts to the two charging partners, and for a while it is keeping them in check. He corners Asher and is unloading a series of hard shots to the gut before Jax jumps on his back and locks in a sleeperhold. Alex stumbles to the middle of the ring before he drops down to one knee and Jax releases the hold. Now he and Asher are stomping away at him.

But then the lights go out. A message appears on the big screen as eerie music plays.

JAX AND ASHER F.E.A.R US

The lights come up and Jax and Asher begin screaming at each other, trying to figure out what the hell is going on. They are clearly shook, and because of that they don’t even notice Alex Madsen beginning to rise behind them. Finally they turn around, but Alex jumps into the air and connects with a DOUBLE PEACE OF MIND! He covers Asher. 1...2...3!

That’s it! Alex Madsen gets to his feet and shakes it off before raising his hand, victorious.

WINNER: ALEX MADSEN

KONSTANTINE & VEEKA MANNS vs. LIAM CALLAGHAN & ROSE

The final match of the night is a tag team match featuring two champions and two prospective challengers. Rose and Liam Callaghan seem to be on the same page, but Konstantine and Veeka Manns have been working together all week to make sure this opportunity doesn’t go to waste. It’s the four hottest wrestlers in PNW in the ring, and it starts now.

Konstantine starts the match off against Liam Callaghan, and the two circle each other, not wanting to make a mistake because they are so familiar with each other at this point. Suddenly Konstantine jolts forward and pushes Callaghan into the corner where he makes a quick tag to Veeka Manns. He holds Callaghan still while Veeka pummels him with hard shots. Finally they pull Callaghan into the middle of the ring and toss him against the ropes. On the rebound Konstantine lifts Callaghan up in a flapjack position while Veeka rears back and plants him with a hard right hand as he falls down. Konstantine immediately goes after Rose on the apron as Veeka goes for the pin. 1...2...KICKOUT!

Veeka goes to work on Liam with a smile on her face because their opening plan had gone so well. She wears him down with seated submissions and when Liam starts to fight back she tosses him into the corner and tags in Konstantine. Once again they work together to maximize their attack on Callaghan and then Konstantine drops Liam in the middle of the ring with an exploder suplex. 1...2...KICKOUT!

Liam is in a bad way as Konstantine goes back to work, and Rose is desperate to get into the match. They clearly didn’t expect this level of cohesion and rule breaking from their opponents tonight. Liam is able to break away from Konstantine and is inches away from making the tag until he is caught and pulled into DDT position. Liam squirms his way out of Konstantine’s grip and connects with a hard enziguri that sends his rival to the ground. Liam is once again close to making the tag when Veeka Manns charges the ring to cut him off. Rose decides she isn’t going to wait any longer and slips into the ring to level Veeka with a shoulder block. She picks Veeka up and tosses her out of the ring with a military press slam that pops the crowd.

Rose is trying to get back on the apron when Konstantine grabs her by the arm and spins her around. He whips her across the ropes while bouncing off of the other side with the intention to send her down with Point Blank, a spear, but Rose shows shocking athleticism and is able to leapfrog over Konstantine. Instead, Konstantine runs straight into a low kick from Callaghan, followed by the Beantown Plunge! Rose moves onto the apron so that the referee can begin the count. 1...2...VEEKA MANNS BREAKS IT UP!

Veeka really did come out of nowhere. She pulled Konstantine into the corner and tagged herself in, but Liam did the same thing with Rose on the other side. Veeka and Rose rushed each other and Veeka dodged a clothesline and used the momentum to kick Liam Callaghan off of the apron. She turned around and Rose grabbed her by the throat, trying for a chokeslam, but when she was lifted Veeka managed to throw her weight to the other side and land behind Rose. Veeka put a well placed boot to the gut of Rose and then set her up for the canadian destroyer, and it connects! Veeka hooks the leg. KONSTANTINE IS HOLDING LIAM CALLAGHAN ON THE OUTSIDE! 1...2...3! VEEKA MANNS HAS PINNED THE PNW WOMEN’S CHAMPION!

Veeka’s music begins to play as Konstantine tosses Callaghan to the side to go celebrate with his partner. The commentary team speculates on what this could mean for the two champions who were dismantled tonight. Callaghan and Rose look on from the ramp, still unsure of how this match got so out of hand so quickly. We fade to black as Konstantine and Veeka Manns talk some trash to their rivals from inside the ring.

WINNERS: KONSTANTINE & VEEKA MANNS
